After the main deployment of supplies planet-side, The hopper flight crews were highly popular.

It started slowly, but optional cosmetic procedures were available. The flight crew and pilots opted to get their eyes color changed. It was crude, but they all wanted 'pink' eyes.

I never told them. The eye color would have been my least favorite thing to be remembered for.

Over the decades, this habit of changing eye colors (more pink) was also adopted by the grown embryo girls. Planet-side population was growing fast into a young all-girl colony.

They would build up the male population when embryos started running low.

The generational colony ship was stripped to the barest structure. It would be enough for me.
