6 Fairies! - 006

Lou was inside the <Golden Rose Garden> and surveyed the situation. She had enough points to buy more plants or upgrade the ones she has; she ultimately decided on buying more. She scrolled through the plant options at the "Vending Machine."

She found the fairy plants that the System had talked about before. She purchased some and placed them gently next to the other plants. Without warning, the flower instantly sprouted, budded, and bloomed on which a fairy laid within. It awoke with a theatrical yawn and stretch, it's light, cherry eyes resting upon Lou. Its wings twinkled as it rose into the air, swirling and twirling at her.

It soon found interest in the flowers and began to sing and whistle to them, and they began to brighten. The brightened flowers started lightly swaying to the rhythm as they breathed in the melody.

Everything seemed happy, this even caused Lou to smile at the situation. She placed a couple more fairies down for the future, they were also backup just in case a plant catches a sickness. "System, I have a question; is there an alchemy station within the garden?"

"Yes, it is located near the back wall. Stairs are leading down to an underground area that is well ventilated. A bin is in the corner for soon to be recycled material. As long as Host has purchased a plant, it will be provided to Host, no fee. There are books, alchemy items, and a bed available for the Host to use at will. Books are mainly for notes and certain ones will write down exactly what process was used without Host's express interference."

Lou nodded, finding it rather helpful. She found her way to such said basement by quickly entering the garden. The workbench seemed like a cluttered mess which she shuffled around into more comfortable areas. She listened to the System as it explained what everything was for, and saw multiple examples play out, provided by the System.

She got to work, grabbing multiple herbs and experimenting.

. . .

"So awesome! Grinding this one into a powder and pouring it directly onto another plant poisons it! This other one negates it! Interesting!" Lou was entranced at how everything worked, writing down everything she found, looking at another book that automatically filled itself to see the answers. She looked at the time, finding it quite late in the day.

She headed off to bed, sleepy but still excited. She wrote down some things she would try the next day before she laid her head down on the pillow. Realizing her pillow could have a smell of her stuck to it, she wrote down that idea. Being spread across the bed like butter, she clutched a notebook, scrambling down ideas onto it.

After she fell asleep, the System gently lifted the pencil and notebook away from her. "Such a precious lady, let's hope she never gets taken away from her dreams, both tonight and the rest of her life here. Sweet dreams, little lady Lou. I'll be watching you~!"

The voice faded with a small jingling giggle, as the night steadily gave way to the dazzling twilight.
