5 Cultivator's Association - 005

The wings of the Petaled Dragon had, indeed, scales similar to petals. If there was a pink Sakura tree nearby, the bundle would blend right in. The little dragon came right up to Lou, disregarding the scared rabbit beside her. The System explained some things before telling her that she just needed to interact with it often, she didn't need to take care of it. Lou sighed in relief and left the farm with Reiko in her arms.

She walked out of the alleyway casually and headed to her original destination, the Cultivators Association. She went inside, seeing many tables that were low to the ground with customers drinking common tea. At least, these teas were common to her. They could have been very exquisite, but she didn't completely know the common sense of this world.

She walked to the front desk, "can I please register as a cultivator?"

"Very well, young miss. Please punch or use a formation against this wall, it can find out you cultivation strength."

She brought her arms to her sides and got into a stance. She pulls back her body, receiving surrounding ki to charge up this attack. She finally felt her meridians become full as she gets ready. She pushes, with full power, to the wall. It barely reacts, but still gives a number.

"Ah, it seems you are on the higher end of rank two with 18 P. This would be enough for you to count as a low-rank cultivator. Please wait as I prepare introductory items." The receptionist then went to the back and came out with a dull-looking necklace.

"This necklace changes colors for what rank you are and will only react to you. Please put a drop of blood onto the center to activate it." She does as told and it soon reacts to her. She put it on her neck and puts her arms at rest.

"As a new cultivator in the Cultivators Association, what would you like to do first? Access to the meditation rooms, bloodline fusions, or the training hall? We receive funding directly from the capital, so we can even give additional items if needed."

"I might become a manual writer." She replies.

"We also allow people who have written manuals and books to sell their books directly to us. When people go into the library, they pay a fee to enter, and if they want to purchase a book, they would have to buy it. This allows us to give a salary to each manual writer, even if their books don't sell.

"The benefits improve for each manual written, so writing a series of manuals is, indeed, encouraged. Is this all you wish to know?"

"Yes, I am satisfied with this answer. Thank you for your time." She bows lightly and leaves the Cultivators Association. She walked with light steps as the Horned Rabbit gently nudges her face. She once more disappears into an alleyway to look at the Botanist Garden.

Lou wanders the large, empty garden. She was thinking about how the garden would soon be filled with lively plants. This made her smile a little. She asked several questions to the System, who answered kindly and patiently.

"Could I use the garden to help me cultivate?"

"Yes, there are plants that grow steadily but are quite slow by themselves. It is suggested to have several of these kinds of plants."

"How can I add additional effects to the plants, if it's possible?"

"Fairy sprites from the Mischief Roses are able to be born and can look after even the most delicate and gentle flowers with the utmost care. The more you have, the more likely that your plants can become 'Evolved.'"

"What does that term mean?"

"Plants are separated into different tiers; normal, elite, and boss. The rarities are also not an exception to this; common, rare, epic, and legend. The rarity shows how easily a plant can be found in the wilderness while the tiers show how well it has grown and how much it is worth in its species. It is normally not shown unless the Host gives express permission for such."

"Thank you, this is going to be very helpful." She says.
