1 {REWRITTEN} I LOVED YOU

Girl: "I love you."

Girl: "I love you."

Boy: "I love you more."

Girl: "Hahaha."

Love, it is something we all crave, but most of us don't understand how it works. Of course, that scene of open affection would touch anyone's heart but it was breaking mine. How could I let this happen to me? I thought to myself as I looked through the glass window of the cafe I worked at. Because the 'Boy' was supposed to be my boyfriend, Dong Sheng Li and that 'Girl' was my older sister, Lang Xuefang. Before I noticed it myself, I was already walking out of the cafe towards them.

"How could you do this to me?," I yelled. Jumping in surprise, they turned towards me.

"Oh, Lang Mina, it's you, what's up," said Dong Sheng Li.

"What's up? Really? Why are you holding hands with my sister," I said?

Dong Sheng Li replied, "Oh this, it's nothing. Why are you being so jealous?"

I couldn't believe him just now. Jealous of course I'd be jealous, anyone would be if they saw they could be replaced so easily. Then it hit me, this wasn't his first mistake. Every time we went out he always looked at other girls and every time I confronted him, he would say the same thing. Yeah, I was feeling something but it wasn't jealousy.

"Jealous…, "I chuckled to myself.

"Why would I be jealous of a man wh**e, like you?," I told him. I was fueled with anger.

With a forced smile upon my face, I turned to my sister who looked quite shameless, "and you, I could expect this from him, but you're supposed to be my sister."

At that moment I could feel a pain in my chest. Lang Xuefang just looked at me and laughed, "hahaha. What can I say? Of course, he would want me instead of someone childish like you."

It didn't seem like Xuefang was sorry at all.

"A word of advice little sis, you should learn to grow up."

Before I could even react, she had poured her coffee all over. At that moment I was feeling completely humiliated, as everyone had started gathering around outside watching and taking out their cameras. How could she embarrass me like this? Was I not as close to her as I thought. Maybe she was right. I held back the tears forming in my eyes as I tried to escape from the scene as fast as possible. With my blurred vision, I had bumped into someone, without noticing them.

Ouch!! I looked up to find a handsome man with golden brown eyes looking at me. By the looks of it, he was clearly wearing an expensive suit, which was now covered with coffee marks.

"I'm sorry for ruining your clothes," I apologized immediately.

"Hmph. Can't you pay attention to where you are walking?!" said the man.

"I've already apologized, I'll pay for your dry cleaning," I said, starting to get annoyed at his complaining.

"And what, allow you to take my clothes to one of those shabby cleaners? When you are clearly in need of a trip there," he said.

"Then what would you like me to do?" I said.

He snickered to himself, "oh I see where this is going. It's not me who needs anything from you but the other way around right?"

"I don't really understand what you mean, I'm just trying to make amends with you," I replied.

"Sure miss but do you expect me to be foolish enough to believe in a lie of a wicked woman such as yourself. Since you've planned this so accurately I must ask you this."

Coming closer to me he whispered to me, "what is it exactly that you expect to gain from me? Wealth? Love? Maybe if you'd begged a bit, I let you be my exclusive servant."

"Huh," I exclaimed. How dare he, I am no lowly woman.

Pushing him back, "I don't even know you, and why would someone go out of their way to meet an obnoxious narcissist like you." Waiting for no other response from him, I stormed off. I only wanted to apologize, why were people being so difficult today.
