2 Genesis Final Boss Guide

"Ah... good job partner! You've managed to drive him into madness yourself! If i say so myself i'll rate your performance an 9 out of 10!" the voice said again in my mind.

"Who are you?" i asked.

"Well look at the ear of the warrior, that's me!"

I squatted down to look at the warrior's ear and saw a blood red earring looking fierce and beautiful at the same time. "Hey, quit staring and pick me up." said the voice.

"What? You're an earring? How can you talk?" i asked surprised.

"Haha i'm not an earring, partner.I'm the red gem. I'm a manifestation of the abyss. My name is Gluttony of the Abyss. I am a being that feeds off of human emotions, anger, sadness, happiness, but most delicious madness. Due to reasons I don't even remember I was sealed away long ago. Until you drove that warrior to madness which feeds me and woke me up. For that you have my gratitude, Partner." It explained.

"Hmm.. I don't really get it. But, feel free to consider this place your home you'll be staying here for eternity now like me. So there is not really a difference about you waking up or not. Either way since we'll be stuck together let me introduce myself. I am the final boss of the Genesis Dungeon Nicholas." I said to it.

"Glad to meet you Nicholas, but i need to correct you on three things. Firstly, This is not my home and so I won't stay here. Secondly, there is a huge difference about me waking up and staying asleep, I've been asleep for god knows how long. There is nothing more that I want than staying awake for the rest of my life. Thirdly, I did promise you to break you out of this place so I will do just that." as it continued to talk I didn't pay attention to it until the final one.

'What? It can actually break me out? It was not lying?' As the imagined me breaking out of this hell hole I started to smile as I entertain the idea. But, I only dream about it. As I know monsters can't escape this place, because of the guardian that waits in the entrance of the dungeon which keeps monsters from escaping."Hahahaha you have quite the imagination, gem. Well, good luck then, if you manage to defeat the guardian of the dungeon, do give me a call, hahaha."

"Hoooo… it seems you don't believe me do you? I see… it is indeed hard for a mere monster to comprehend my abilities. Well, you will soon understand. Either way, just pick me up first."

Listening to the gem boasting about it's abilities, I pick it up and put it in my pocket. Whatever it did save my life so I guess we're even now. Sitting back in my throne I slowly closed my eyes and wait for the next set of adventurers.

After a long time has passed I was finally woken up to an arrow flying at high speed aiming at my chest. I grabbed the arrow in mid-air like it was nothing thinking to myself how cool I was at this moment. Unfortunately, my daydream was quickly disrupted by the shouts and sound of armor as a group of four adventurers is rushing to position to encircle me.

'Hmm.. OK let's analyze the situation' I calmed down and started to analyze the enemy. 'One heavy armor tank with a morning star and a huge tower shield, class warrior probably, one girl with medium armor and a bow, she's keeping her distance and judging by her movement most likely a ranger, one is wearing a mix of heavy and medium armor, he's dual wielding a pair of long sword and seems quite skillful, probably a DPS swordsman of some kind. The final one is really far away, he's wearing a cloak I can't see him clearly, most likely the cloak is enchanted to hide his identity, actually is he even a he? Well, either way if this party is standard composition the highest probability is a spellcaster. All in all if i'm not wrong this is a quite strong party with good coordination and trust. Which means, chances of them making a mistake are low and they will try to kite me and control my agro, just like all standard party. If you see it this way i'm in quite a pinch. But, there is one huge weakness to a well coordinated and trustful party like this.'

I quickly made a plan in my mind as they got into position. Without wasting any time the tank charges straight at me with his morning star spinning above his head ready for a heavy swing.

Swosh!

He swung it heavily at me as I dodged to the side to counter attack his armpit where heavy armor are usually weakest, but before I manage to damage him the swordsman swung his sword at me his long sword glowing, proof of him using a skill. I spin my body dodging barely dodging his attack. As I feel the gust of wind from his sword I kicked him right at his stomach and launch him away. I then pretended to retreat to bait the ranger to attack me with her bow.

Swosh!

As I suspected the ranger shot her arrow at me and once again I caught it with my bare hand and the threw the arrow towards the warrior who is still recovering from my kick. The tank quickly blocked my arrow with his giant shield which is exactly what I want as I dashed straight towards the cloaked figure at the back to make him my hostage. I quickly ran behind him and put my hand next to his neck, but as I do that I feel something wrong as the cloaked figure didn't even move at all.

"Stop or I'll kill your friend!" I shouted, that's right, the biggest weakness of a good and trusting party is if kidnapped one of their party they usually become panicked and started to blame each other forming suspicion or even hate. But, as I said that suddenly the ranger shot her arrow again which hits my shoulder which surprised me. 'Do they not care about their team? Well, no matter, i can at lease take this mage's head.' I quickly brandished my sharp nails to his neck to decapitate him.

Swosh!

My attack missed him as he moved his body in an impossible manner like a snake and punched my face quickly. BAM! As i feel the fist hitting my face I quickly realized this damned cloaked guy is not a mage he's a frickin monk! 'Damn it! They tricked me!'

"Hahaha! He actually did it just like what the guide said!" Shouted the the ranger. 'Damn it! They actually made a guide on how to beat me what the hell!? Do I really do this tactic a lot-... Actually, I think I do, probably. Yeah, OK I do, well a monster gotta do what a monster gotta do.' Fighting my inner thoughts about how low I am to actually use this dirty strategy all the time I quickly jump backwards and keep my distance to plan how to re-engage the enemy. 'OK they have one tank, one DPS, one monk, and one long-ranged ranger. Knowing my tendencies of kidnapping they will surely guard each others back. Looks like i can only try my hardest and fight seriously, too bad I only have one wing left, otherwise flying would definitely be a huge advantage here. OK let's first determine the biggest threat, the most annoying, and the hardest to kill instantly.'
