It took months before Zhang Wei could recover from what happened between him and Mei. He became more silent and absent minded but all that was going to change since he was going to start a whole new life with Li Na and only her. He went to his office first thing in the morning, ignoring the staffs and non staffs that greeted him. He sat down on his chair and rubbed his eyes when he heard a knock on the door.

"come in" he said as he composed himself.

"Hi" Mei said as she walked towards him smiling.

"Get out" Zhang Wei said angrily.

"Oh come on, don't tell me you're angry about what happened" Mei said as she got close to him, Zhang Wei stood up and dragged her towards the door. She struggled.

"I'm pregnant" Mei said to Zhang Wei who was in shock.

"I'm eight weeks pregnant and the baby is yours." Mei continued. "I'm pregnant, the baby is yours" sounded strange to Zhang Wei.

"Stop lying" Zhang Wei said as he clenched his fist tightly.

"I'm not lying, I'm telling the truth, I know that I've lied and taken advantage of you but I wouldn't lie about this" Mei said sincerely but Zhang Wei wasn't convinced.

"If you're done with your games, leave my office" Zhang Wei said in a cold tone.

"No I won't and I'm not playing any games with you, I'm serious" Mei said to Zhang Wei who was still not convinced.

"OK fine let's do a paternity test,so you'll know that I'm telling the truth" Mei suggested.

"I really hope you're lying cause then I won't hesitate to throw you out of my life for good, let's go" Zhang Wei said angrily as they both headed towards the car,got in, and drove to the hospital.

After the doctor had finished taking the tests he told Zhang Wei and Mei that they will have the test results in a few days. Zhang Wei left Mei in the hospital and didn't bother going back to the office. He went back home.

"hello brother" Wang Lei who had been away for some time said holding a bowl of soup in his hands.

"I don't know why I love coming to your house " he said

"that's because you always like to finish all the food in this house" Li Na said coming out of the kitchen and went to hug her husband.

"when did you get back?" Zhang Wei asked as he sat on the sofa.

"this afternoon" he answered answered taking a large gulp of soup.

"Madam you have a call from your mother" a servant said, Li Na quickly rushed to take the phone.

"So what is going on you look a bit tensed?" Wang Lei asked.

"Nothing just stress from work" Zhang Wei answered. After the boys had talked Wang Lei finally left.

Later in the evening, Zhang Wei stood in the balcony trying to find the stars in the sky but there was none, he heart started racing, what if he was really the father of Mei's child, what then, what will he tell Li Na, what will happen to them. A few days looked like forever to him but he had no choice but to wait for the results.

Days went by quickly and the results were out already, the doctor sent it to Zhang Wei through his email. Zhang Wei was hesitant at first but he needed to know the truth,he needed to know if the baby was his nor not so he took a deep breath and opened the e-mail. As he read the e-mail line by line he had a mixed reaction, he was happy that he was going to be a father but almost cried when this child is the only reason his relationship with the love of his life would go down the drain, he wished the child would not be born but then, how could he wish such an evil thing to an innocent child, his child, his very own flesh and blood
