2 Chapter 2

"I'm really excited for you, Jim," Chynna said as she gave her younger brother a tight hug. "I'm also so proud of you Jim."

"You are the reason I've been able to get such an opportunity." Jin took in deep breaths after Chynna released him from her tight hug. "Sis, your tight hugs are painful."

"Whatever," she said. "So tell me how long will things take?"

"Meaning?"

"How long will your admission process take?" Chynna asked. "Like the paperwork and any other thing?"

"Well, the admission letter will be sent soon, in that letter the tuition fees and materials needed for all students will be attached to it. Some other legal documents that need the signature of our parents or guidance and we would need to scan it and send it to them," her brother explained. "Some other things will also be done later."

"Well, I can't wait to see my brother walking into another chapter of his life," Chynna said. "I'm so happy for you."

"After graduation, I will get a good job and then I will great my sister everything she desires," Jin announced. "I will make sure I repay you back for all your sacrifices."

"What sacrifices are you talking about?" Chynna inquired.

"Anything that was yours before, but you had to give it out just to help me," Jin said. "Like that beautiful piece of jewellery mum bought for you you sold out."

"That was years ago!" Chynna rolled her eyes. "I did that because I love you and I didn't want you to suffer after our parent's death, that's why I did all that not because I wanted you to pay me back!"

"I want to do something for you after I land a well-paying job." Jin pouted.

"I want nothing from you, Jim," Chynna said. "I just want you to be happy always."

"You are something else." her brother sighed. "Come, let's go to the movies now besides what movie are we watching?"

"Let me think," Chynna smirked.

"Seriously, Chynna?"

"We are going to see Black Widow," Chynna revealed, causing Jim to scream in a loud voice. "I know you wanted to see that with a movie, so I booked our tickets online."

"What are we waiting for?" Jim asked. "Come on, let's go to the cinema."

Chynna grabbed his left hand, halting her brother's movement. "Hold up young man, the house looks like a pig style because of what you and your friends did last night so clean this place up."

"Come on, sis!" Jin cried out. "Black widow is a big movie, a movie that I can't afford to miss even a little."

"The movie starts in an hour, if we work together we will finish up before the movie," Chynna said. "Do you want to clean up after a good movie?"

Jin gave a slight nod to show he wasn't up to clean up after the movie. "Okay, I will clean, but you have to help with the dishes."

"Fine," Chynna said before picking up her phone. "Jin, I told you to charge my phone last night, but you didn't do it."

"I did," Jin muttered. "I plug it last night."

"Then why is it 15%?" Chynna inquired.

"Maybe one guy unplug it so he could charge his phone," Jin said. "I'm sorry."

Chynna sighed before plugging her phone to charge. She has never been a fan of the type of friends her brother keeps. "I don't like those boys Jin and I've told you that before."

"Chynna, Feng and Jiang are good people, they don't do bad things, and besides we are all going to the same University," Jin said as he picked up all the cushions on the floor.

"They passed the exams also?" Chynna inquired.

"Of course." Jin laughed. "Did you think they are not smart?"

"No, it's just they showed no serious nature to their studies," Chynna said. "I'm kind of impressed."

"Chynna, the dishes are still waiting to be washed." Jin reminded her. "If I finish up before you, I will go to the cinema on my own."

"I'm the one with the proof, not you." she giggled. "You won't be granted access in."

"Just hurry, sis!"

"Whatever you say, Chipmunk." she teased before heading to the kitchen to clean up the dished that laid in the sink.

~Jin is supposed to do this, not me.

She wasn't supposed to handle this chore, but she was too happy for her younger brother. He was about to go to one of the best Universities in America and she was so proud of her little bro.

The sound of the doorbell caught Jin's and Chynna's attention. "Jin, are you excepting anyone?"

"No," Jin replied. "Don't worry, I will get it."

A mail deliverer was standing at the door, his white shirt looked dull and he had a brown message bag with him. "Hello, I'm looking for Wang Jin. Does he stay here?"

"I'm Wang Jin," Jin replied.

"Here's your letter Sir." the man gave Jin a letter which he looked at curiously. "Please sign here."

"Sure," Jin said as he signed the notebook. "Thank you."

"Just doing my job." the man said before leaving.

"Who was that?" Chynna asked as she dried her wet hands with a towel.

"A mail deliverer," Jin replied. "He brought a letter to me."

"Who's it from?" Chynna inquired.

Jin scanned through the envelope and saw the sign he had been waiting for. "It's from The University."

"Your acceptance letter is here." Chynna squeaked. "Open it and read it aloud."

"Sure," he said before opening the letter.

Dear Wang Jin. This is an acknowledgement of your application to the Biology program at our university. We have reviewed your application and all the supporting documents, but unfortunately, we can't give you this admission. Good luck with your journey towards success.

Sincerely,

Chen Shuo

"What?" Jin yelled. "I didn't get admitted, but I was the best candidate."

Chynna collected the letter her brother just received. The writing was clear, the school's logo was also present.

"Jin, don't worry, I will sort this out," Chynna reassured, but her heartbroken brother rushed to his room and locked the door shut.

~Why would they turn him down? I must find out.

"Hello, Miss Wang Chynna." Chen Shuo said before shaking her hand. "Please have a seat."

"Thank you." she grinned.

"What will you like to have?" he asked.

"Nothing," she said.

"Okay, so what's your purpose for visiting?"

"I came to speak to you," she said.

"About what?"

"My brother Wang Jin wrote an entrance exam here, he was the best candidate, but you guys didn't admit him."

"Jin's result was excellent, but he's lacking any important quality," he said.

"What is that quality?" Chynna asked. "Please tell me?"

"We can't tell you, Chynna," he muttered. "Your brother is smart he will find a better university so don't worry."

"But please tell me, sir." Chynna pleased. "My brother is so hurt."

"I can't Miss Wang Chynna," he repeated. "I need to see someone please excuse me."

Chynna couldn't believe it, her poor brother worked day and night to pass this exam but a stupid qualification ruined it.

~What's the damm qualification?

Defeat and heartbreak filled her when she thought about her younger brother. She stood up to leave, but she accidentally fell a red envelope down. The letter that was resting on this envelope fell down too. She rushed to pick it up but; the letter opened and out of curiosity she read the letter.

Chen Shuo

I don't want Wang Jin to get admitted into this University, he should not be given an acceptance letter. This will teach Chynna a lesson she will never forget.

If I find out that he schools here, then I will shut your school down.

The Boss.
