5 Trade

Steamed Bun didn't know what happened and he didn't care. He happily started bullying defenseless Summoner in a dizzy state inflicted by the brick. Although Luo Ji couldn't do anything against the beating, he could still send out orders and control his summons. The support from his teammates was already on the way.

Luo Ji also discovered how Steamed Bun could increase the speed while jumping in the air. It was Light Flow who aimed his curse arrow at Steamed Bun's back and gave him that extra push. The closer distance meant that the brick would travel less distance and arrive faster. Apart from this impact, it didn't cause Steamed Bun any damage nor negative stats despite that the arrow was still stuck in the middle of Steamed Bun's back.

It was a simple and effective method but not many could do it. Light Flow had to predict ahead of time that Steamed Bun is going to throw a brick. That wasn't that difficult given how frequently Steamed Bun used this skill. Still, it required precise timing and aiming that was even worthy of a pro player. If the arrow hits his side, it could negatively affect the balance and bring the opposite effect.

Light Flow with a group of players was already blocking Luo Ji's rescue. The Death's Door just appeared before them and they had to stop advancing.

Luo Ji noticed that this support left another opening in their formation. Several long-range classes remained unprotected. The rescue mission was intentionally abandoned by Luo Ji midway and he directed his focus and the troops on the counter-attack.

Luo Ji decided that he is going to trade himself because he calculated that it will be worth it for their team. Just killing the healer would already mean a high chance of winning since the remaining ones wouldn't be able to keep up with so many players on the field.

The trade was completed and the result made Luo Ji satisfied since they killed not only the healer but also a Mage, and a Sharpshooter. Additionally, the team got into an advantageous position that will give their scattered opponent a lot of trouble.

Not long after that, the Glory sign with a label "Victory!" showed up. Steamed Bun stood up and said "They're afraid of me!" as he pointed on this victory declaration on his screen.

This was partially true but Luo Ji knew that the main reason for Luo Ji's team to give up was that the tides quickly changed without his commands. Steamed Bun was a great help but it was mainly due to Light Flow's tactical movements that they gained an overwhelming advantage.

"You have to become more shameless." these words were coming from Wei Chen who was observing the fight already for some time.

"You have been tricked to trade." Wei Chei added.

Luo Ji already replayed that trade in his head and realized that something was off. That healer and also the opening in the formation were intentionally served for him. It looked like a great offer but it wasn't.

"I miscalculated." Luo Ji lamented. His reply was on point since his biggest mistake was that he underrated his value. A healer indeed has a higher value than a Summoner but he was also the leader! He wasn't used to his position as a leader and that's why he didn't see through opponent's intent "Cut the head and the snake will fall".

"Request a rematch!" Wei Chei commanded.

It was accepted. Wei Chei joined Luo Ji's team and announced himself a leader in the chat. With his authority, no one from the guild players had any objections.

"Let me show you how it's done." Wei Chei told Luo Ji confidently.

Luo Ji wanted to officially pass his leader position but Wei Chei rejected. The match hasn't even started and Wei Chei already demonstrated his shamelessness. He wanted to command from the shadows without the enemy knowing that he is the leader. That would also protect him if the opponent again targets the leader.

It got even worse when the match started. Wei Chei was using Luo Ji as a bait to lure the opponent into attacking him. Luo Ji didn't feel well in this situation but he would feel even worse if he was the one using these dirty methods. He wouldn't be able to come up with that even when he was trying. In comparison, it was as natural as breathing for Wei Chen.
