6 The Office

"How come you know our names, Mr…Boss?", she asked addressing him so since she didn't know his real name.

"Oh, please don't insult me by calling that. A small businessman like me is not worth listening Boss from the beloved ones of the biggest company WONDERSITE.", he said in a polite yet fearful manner while bowing down a little.

Hearing this, now both of them were more in shock since the name was not the only thing he knew about them, but he also knew, from where they were and to whom they were the most beloved persons. Thinking all this, they both were just looking at him blankly, hiding their confused looks behind it.

Finally, in order to hide their confusion, they decided to get back to that fierce mood they were in before the meeting, and Eshana spoke in a confident voice, "Frist of all, you better not praise us by calling yourself a "Small Businessman" when you actually must be owning much more than a five star-top ranked Hotel Ella. And the second thing, since you know us so well, then kindly care to explain your part in our lives."

"Sure, but please be seated first. You both must be tired of such a long journey. And about my introduction, then what is the hurry. It is lunchtime already, so let us talk about everything on a nice lunch", he said, pointing at the chairs placed in front of the office table. "My chefs know how to cook the best dishes from all over the world. What would you like to have?", he added.

Since none of them was there to listen to his sweet and cheesy talks and enjoy his overflowing riches, Eshana and Lee were already running out of patience. And when he brought the topic of lunch in between such a serious conversation on purpose, in order to divert their minds, the walls of patience wrecked that moment. And lee spoke, "Listen carefully, Mr. Boss or whatsoever is your name. We are not here for a feast or to test your chefs." after this, Eshana came forward to join him and stated, "From your appearance, I can tell that you could be no more than an unnoticed side character. So, the intro is not needed."

"Now just tell me, why are you trying to go against people's will and forcing them to leave their property when they actually do not want anything like that to happen, just for your unnecessary greed.", Lee asked.

"And you better not act innocent", Eshana warned before the so-called Boss could say anything.

The Boss already had planned to act innocent. But when Eshana warned him, glaring straight into his eyes, he without any second thought, dropped that idea since he could sense that the before plan is not carrying favorable consequences. It took him a minute to come up with a defensive reply. After that, he finally spoke, "Listen Mr. Lee you are getting it wrong. At first, I asked all of them politely and humbly for their property. But they replied in a "No". Even after that I tried to convince them and gave them an offer that if they agree to give their land to me, I will provide them with good money in return. But still, they did not agree to leave their property.", he tried to explain himself.

Meanwhile, both Lee and Eshana were just listening to him making up his excuses while carrying a weird and unconvinced face.

"Do you think that this nonsense answer of yours can deny the fact that after being humble for once, you actually sent your hired men to threaten those innocent and weak people and use violence for convincing people to actually, leave their birth land forever, to leave their childhood memories, to leave their home which god knows since how long their ancestors have been nurturing, all these things you want them to leave just for the sake of money.", Eshana said looking right in the eyes of the Boss, glaring straight into his soul while keeping her voice louder than normal.

The Boss, for once, actually could feel the balance of his body go weak from the rage Eshana's eyes were sending with every passing second. But as crackhead inhuman greedy people are called so for some common reason. And he proved it once again by doing something he should not have.

Boss pov

No, I can not let my desired land slip away from my hand. No, I need to handle my fear. If I want money, if I want to be rich, I have to take the risk. Let's do this plan (he told himself in between cooking some plan in his devil head).

"Come on, miss Eshana, I know females are sensitive by nature and get provoked very easily after seeing injustice, even if it is with someone they don't know. But you know what?, There is one more thing I know about them….", he paused to pull a smirk on his shiny yet wrinkled face, maybe in order to make his expressions suit right with his upcoming sentence. "And the thing is…..that they can forget all the injustice in front of a strong man, or…..I say they can forget their every limit in front of money.", he uttered, leaning a bit forward in her direction.

Lee pov

Since the time we came here, I am noticing this brat's every single move. Though I could sense something fishy in the air since the very beginning of the gibberish, he is blabbering. But now that was it. After hearing his last sentence, I am feeling like burning his money made a hollow structure into ashes. Oh god! If I am thinking this, then what must be going on in her head. (He thought while looking towards Eshana, who just listened to the Boss's last words). I hope your soul rest in pieces, Mr. Boss. (He again thought while looking at the shamelessly smirking face of the Boss).

After the so-called Boss, was done talking, Eshana started taking slow steps, covering the left distance between her and the Boss. She was walking towards him, putting on a sweet and toxic smile.

Boss pov

When I finished saying my last sentence, I saw her coming for me with a smile. There you go!, This is what you call a girl. I mean, seriously!, I thought that this would not work or I may encounter death today, but no, I was all wrong, or I better say I was all right. My plan actually worked. So, there you go proving once again that all the well-reputed girls can fall for just one thing, and that is, "Riches".

(He internally chuckled, thinking that his plan to trap them, is now succeeded, and now he can easily get them on his side and might take help from them to get his dreamland as they are much more powerful than him and can use much more force than he could in order to make his project done.)

"Now that is what you call an offer Mr. Boss. I must say you actually know girls very well.", she said while covering the remaining distance between her and the Boss.

"But I have got a much better plan than this. Want to know?", Eshana added, putting her hand on the table.

"Yes, please go ahead, miss Eshana!", he said in an exciting and curious tone.

"All right then!", she said putting one hand on the collar of the so-called Boss holding his collar with her hands very softly.

Lee pov

What is she up to? Why is she behaving this way? Come on, Eshana, just knock this pervert-headed brat already. What are you waiting for?

Soon Eshana lifted her one leg, and at an inhuman speed knocked the clever yet stupid head of the so-called Boss.

A loud thud sound could be heard, as the Boss was now landing on the floor.

"What on earth was all this drama for?", Lee stated as soon as the Boss went unconscious.

"Nothing. Just wanted to test my acting skills", Eshana replied.

"What? Here? At this moment?", Lee exclaimed.

"Will you just stop with your nonsense right now," Eshana said while walking towards the Boss to check him out once more, whether he is actually unconscious or just acting like her.

But, suddenly, the doorknob twisting sound was heard, and within a second, the door was slammed against the wall revealing the so-called Boss's guards, carrying guns in their hands, all pointing towards both of them.

And before Eshana could process anything..."BANG", a loud sound of a gunshot echoed the room....
