"You got this Boruto!"

Hanabi cheered from the sidelines, infront of her were two individuals engaged in combat.

One of them was of 5yrs old, he had fair skin with two whisker marks on both opposite sides of his face, he had blond hair with blue ocean eyes.

The other was an aged man with white eyes, he had dark brown hair with shades of grey present on them.

The former was our MC Boruto, and the latter was Hiashi, the both of them were sparing with eachother.

'Now!'

Boruto was 150cm away from Hiashi's position, he bent his body downwards before sprinting towards Hiashi.

Hiashi didn't flinch from his stance, Boruto quickly reached near Hiashi, the distance between them was now only 70cm.

Just when Hiashi was about to step forward, Boruto changed his trajectory, he kicked the ground and started revolving around Hiashi.

Hiashi grew a little surprised at Boruto's next actions, Boruto started leaving afterimages.

'Spamming body flicker is exhausting, but it's an effective method to take your enemy by the element of surprise'

Boruto's eyes were fixed on Hiashi, he applied chakra under his feet before kicking the ground with full force.

Hiashi could easily mark out the real Boruto, but he wanted to see what the boy had in mind for him.

Boruto's body violently spun in the air, in less than a second his palm was inches away from Hiashi's forehead.

However, Hiashi just slapped away the incoming attack before aiming a palm strike towards Boruto's shoulder to dislocate it.

Boruto's brain function accelerated after seeing the incoming strike, the palm was only 2cm away from his shoulder.

He quickly concentrated 30% of his reserves on that specific spot, Hiashi's attack made contact with his shoulder.

The previous sped-up that Boruto made coupled with the strike on the end of his shoulder made him instantly rotate in the air.

Boruto's eyes now were that like of an eagle, the concentration in his eyes could even put veteran gamers to shame.

To Hanabi, it seemed like Boruto glitched in mid-air, but the trail of blue light on the end of his palm made it visible that he spun in the air with extreme speed.

In a matter of milliseconds, Boruto's palm reached near Hiashi's face, the latter's eyes slightly widened.

Hiashi instantly disappeared and reappeared a few inches back.

*Thud*

Boruto lost control of his body after missing the strike, his body crashed to the ground.

"You actually made me take a step back, very impressive if I say so myself"

Hiashi praised but no reply came from the other side.

"Umm..father, I think he hit his head too hard, he might've fallen unconscious"

"Then what're you waiting for! Quickly take him to the infirmary"

"Yes, father!"

Hanabi hastily grabbed Boruto before body flickering away from there, Hiashi slowly shook his head as he sighed.

'I should have just taken the hit head on'

'Again...it's the 128th time already'

Boruto rolled his eyes after waking up inside the familiar room, as usual, Hanabi was sitting beside him.

"...y'know, you don't always have to look after me until I gain my consciousness, Big sis"

"Nah ah, as your big sis, it's my responsibility to do this"

Hanabi shook her head before replying to him, Boruto just awkwardly smiled before getting up.

"Careful! it's only been an hour since the nurse finished treating you"

Boruto nodded, he touched his forehead and felt bandages all over it, he internally sighed before hopping down the bed.

"Btw, your mom called to send you there, if you want you can go after half an hour or you could just stay here"

Hanabi ruffled his hair while smiling gently at him.

"...I'll go, be sure to tell grandpa that I'll come at night"

Hanabi nodded at his words before exiting the room, Boruto slowly brought his palm up and placed it on his right eye.

'You activated for a split second huh'

For a split second, before trying to strike Hiashi, Boruto felt the world slightly change before him.

For an instance, Hiashi's chakra pathway was revealed to Boruto, that intense moment when Boruto's concentration was at its peak.

'Urgh, it's so uncomfortable...it's like a scratch in the back that I can't reach, I simply can't grasp the feeling I got at that moment'

Boruto shook his head in disappointment before heading toward the changing room.

He put on his casual clothes, he unwrapped the bandages around his forehead before exiting the Hyuga estate.

He was currently wearing a pink half-sleeved T-shirt, with black pants and a black scarf wrapped around his neck.

He walked through the sideway of Konoha's public park, he saw several kids playing and hanging out with their friends.

A bitter smile crept up to his lips, he diverted his gaze from them and continued walking towards his home.

[A few minutes later]

Boruto stood infront of his home's front door, he rang the bell and waited there.

"Coming!"

A feminine voice resounded from the other side, the door quickly opened to reveal Hinata on the other side.

"I'm back"

Boruto took off his shoes before heading to the living hall, Hinata just smiled at her child.

"Bwig bwothee!"

Before Boruto could even sit on the sofa, a small dark haired girl pounced on his back.

"Hima"

He warmly smiled before supporting her legs with his arms, he looked back only to see her pout at him.

"Hump! Bwig bwotha lef' me aloyne"

"Awww, your big brother only went to visit grandpa, I promise I'll bring you with me next time"

A rare kind of atmosphere was around Boruto, he carried her to the backyard where Naruto laying on the ground.

"Promwise"

"Promise"

"Bwig brwotha's the byest!"

Hima revealed a toothy smile while tightly hugging him, he nodded at her before nearing Naruto.
