11 Versus Iwabee

All the students in my class were watching the fight so I was wondering how much strength I should display when Iwabee shouted.

"Uchiha Levi. I detest people like you who came in using back doors. Now prepare, I'm gonna show you what it's like to be a shinobi!"

Iwabee while consistently scoring top marks in all of various ninja classes, his dislike of book studies not related to ninjutsu but still curriculum required lead him to get poor written grades. This made him fail the graduation exams twice.

And now forgotten by his former friends who went on to become full-fledged ninja. He blames the new shinobi era's pursuit of both studies and physical skills for holding him back. Constantly bunking class and picking fights with underclassmen, he's become rebel.

"Don't ignore me!" He shouted.

"...." but I was thinking about you.

Just then, Shino steps in and declared.

"Both sides make the seal of confrontation." Iwabee and I makes the sign of shinobi engagement and he spits on the floor but it kinda felt like he spat on me.

Shino continued. "Good. Now start!"

We started the fight with me throwing a few shurinkens as a distraction and then jumping back to make a distance. To the others, they saw it as I was weak with hand to hand combat or Taijutsu.

Iwabee caught a glimpse of my 'weakness' as he rushed in for a close quater combat. we were more or less of the same height.

He threw his fist simply straight and hit me in the face, but it was very weak. I knew my defense was strong but didn't expect it to be this strong against genin in training.

Dodge, I'll just dodge. No need to bully a kid. I thought as I easily avoid his attacks.

"Stay still bitch!" Iwabee was fuming with anger as I constantly annoyed him by dodging, it was like he couldn't even touch me.

"Haaa! I'm gonna kill you!" Shouted Iwabee as he swung his staff.

Boom! He struck the staff he was carrying at me but as it was about to hit me, he used rock release to make the staff into a hammer.

The hammer struck me with great force and I blocked it with a kunai but I was 'pushed' back tens of meters with 'blood dripping' from my nose. Seriously, I'm in love with ketchup and drama.

On the audience side, they showed both shock and awe.

"Isn't that the inceptor fist fighting style of the Uchiha?"

"My god! They're both so fast."

"Kyaaa! He looks so hot~" A boy said that.

"Oh no he's hurt...."

I wipe off the 'blood' and faces Iwabee again. "Aw. Does it hurt? Kukuku serves you right asshole!" I was already tired of him by now and wanted to end the match soon but then again, it wasn't right to show absolute strength, it might even discourage him.

Sigh. It was hard being kind and amiable.

I remembered someone from my past life, the class rep when I was in 11th grade was very overbearing. She had already touched college level books and she used to flaunt her knowledge so much that I basically lost motivation to study and just depended on her for everything - homework to exams, we used to good friends...

Boom!

The hammer struck me again with a great force but I had substituted with a wooden log.

'That's right. I gotta beat them with the basics.'

Iwabee was lost as I suddenly disappeared. Having a hunch he turned back instinctively, he was right, I was right behind him but with a kunai pointing to his neck.

"Surrender." I said and he clenched his fist but still admitted defeat.

"I.. I surrender.." Iwabee looked at me with a face that basically says, next time I'm gonna be more careful and win for sure!

That was the result I was trying to achieve, to be portrayed as someone strong but surpassable with enough training. That might just motivate them enough to train harder, I thought . Most of the students were either look at me trying to scale my strength while the rest noted down the fights in their books for revision.

"Good. Make the seal of reconciliation."

I came forward and offered half the seal.

"It was a good fight Iwabee. You are strong." I said.

Iwabee face contorted with multitudes of emotion- Awe, regret, anger and shame. He quickly walked out of the arena after we did the seal and sat down far away closing his eyes deeply fretting on something.

I was still standing on the arena as I 'healed' myself.

"Wow! He even knows medical ninjutsu."

"Oh right! I've heard Sarada's brother works in the hospital. Never expected him to be the Levi infront of me."

Someone also shouted "kyaa~ Too handsome!". I wanted to retord badly- I know I am. Will you shut up! And it was actually a little boy shouting that....

Shino then said.

"Not bad. Good control of chakra and usage of techniques. Pretty decent Taijutsu level and knows medical ninjutsu too...." and then he noted something on the clipboard he carried, before continuing.

"Anyone else wants to fight with Uchiha Levi?" He looks to the crowd.

"...." It was like Shino was basically trying to injure me but that line of thought felt a bit wrong.

He was supposed to be a kind and understanding teacher, not this petty. Then it hit me, 'ah! The negative chakra has possessed him.' The more I look at him, the more negative energy I could feel from him...

He noticed my gazes and he glares back. Just then.

"Sensei I would like to try." Mitsuki steps forward.

Mitsuki, literally meaning 'Sixth vessel' was a clone created by Orochimaru and raised in a testube. He is usually cheerful and has a matter-of-fact attitude with a composed mindset. But I shouldn't be fooled with that merry attitude of his. Seemingly stemming from his harsh upbringing with Orochimaru, Mitsuki is very vicious in battle, showing no restraint and willing to kill his foes without hesitation.

Without further ado, we both got into the centre of the arena and made the seal.
