3 The Ghost incident & Knowha!

Currently at the academy, it was time for lunch, and I was going to get some burgers from a store near the academy where we bought them.

One thing was clear about the academy: the skills of the ninja had decreased. It was just as Uchiha Shin had said, "Conflict breeds stronger people."

I knew that today's incident with the Hokage face was caused by Sumire. She had been told that her life was for destroying the Leaf. It was a result of her being raised by her bitch of a father.

I could do something about it, but I didn't want to get dragged into all the trouble it would cause because of Nue and its parallel dimension. Going after something I already knew about didn't seem worthwhile, especially when it didn't cause much damage to the village.

"It's true! I saw it with my own eye! A purple shadow was around Denki!" Boruto exclaimed.

It was night, and we were in Boruto's room as he described what he had seen around Denki. He had already awakened the Jougan.

"So, why didn't you tell that to Dad? You could've just gone to the Hokage's office and told him," I asked him as I leaned on the window, looking down from there.

"Aah! You know why! I'll solve this shadow case myself! I don't need the old man's help!" Boruto declared stubbornly, just like dad, he is also very stubborn.

"Well, do whatever you want. Just don't drag me into it. And about your special eye, you should go show it to Grandpa. Oh, and by the way, the academy has already started with the chakra nature test," I informed Boruto.

"Hey, did you ever check if you have the Byakugan? Himawari awakened it that day without any training at all," Boruto said, his voice shivering as he mentioned "that day." What he mentioned was also true.

Himawari had awakened the Byakugan without any prior training. So, it is possible that I could awaken it too, though I secretly hoped for something other than the Byakugan.

The Byakugan was indeed a powerful dojutsu, known for its exceptional visual capabilities and a nearly 360-degree field of vision. However, when compared to the Sharingan, which had a wide range of unique abilities even in its initial stages, the Byakugan might seem more straightforward in terms of its powers.

"True, but how? Should I try injecting chakra into my eyes? What if it explodes?" He was scared hearing what I asked, concerned that injecting chakra into my eyes might cause them to explode.

Injecting chakra into my eyes to awaken the Byakugan shouldn't result in them exploding. However, I'm concerned about the potential risks, such as eye damage, if I attempt it without proper guidance.

"Yeah, no, we should do it with some sort of guidance from grandpa or even big sis Hanabi." I nodded to him as he walked up to the mirror and placed a hand over his right eye.

"Now that I think about it, we could ask big bro Konohamaru to teach us that jutsu! The Rasengan, the one dad uses," I said with an excited smile. If I learn Rasengan, then I would be set for life. I don't even know how many types of Rasengan there are.

"Whoa! Oi, you are a genius! We could totally learn it in a single day and show off to that old man!" Well, Boruto in the original timeline did master Rasengan in a couple of days, but I don't think only a single day would cut it.

"I don't think we can master it in a day, Boruto. I heard that it needs near-perfect chakra control to create," I said as I picked up the small pencil that was laying on his desk and began spinning it between my index and middle finger.

"Don't worry! We can do it, ya know?" There it is, the Naruto smile. Naruto used this a lot of times in his life, and he even turned enemies into friends.

"Well, let's ask big bro Konohamaru then and master it, one more jutsu in my arsenal, ya know!" I said in excitement. If I could master Rasengan, then I would truly be invincible. After all, Rasengan is absolute.

'Dad won all of his battles with different types of Rasengan, so if I have it too, I could only imagine, bring it on, future enemies!'

After bidding him goodnight, I went to my own room to sleep but saw the computer system. Even though there's no Google or any web browser, I can search the Konoha database.

Sitting in the chair and powering the computer on, I waited for a few seconds for it to load everything. Opening "Knowha!," the official Konoha database, I searched for Byakugan.

- X-ray vision.

- Able to see chakra points.

Origin:

- The Byakugan is the dōjutsu kekkei genkai of the Hyūga clan. It is regarded as one of the "Three Great Dōjutsu," the others being the Sharingan and the Rinnegan.

Under special conditions and completed requirements, Byakugan can evolve into a completely different Dojutsu, the Tenseigan.

Thought so, access would have to be restricted to anyone other than the Hokage, as the Tenseigan is a dangerous Dojutsu on par with the Rinnegan.

'I wonder if I possess it. Technically, it's possible for either of my siblings to have it too. Boruto has the Jougan, and Himawari has already shown the Byakugan. However, it could be because her body lacks the power to wield the Tenseigan.' I thought about what the Tenseigan was capable of. There were theories, and some people even claimed that Toneri had only used 20% of its power.

'Mom possesses Hamura's chakra, and Dad has Hagoromo's chakra. Both are half-Otsutsuki. Then, they had us. I'm the eldest by a few minutes. So, it's possible that Hamura's chakra has influenced me similarly to how Kurama influenced Dad. Kurama's chakra influenced him before birth, resulting in the whiskers he and we possess.'

"Well, whatever. Let's sleep for now." I powered the system down, turned off the light, fell to the bed and nestled under the blanket before drifting off to sleep.
