Broderick accidentally pulled on the platform too fast and far too hard. The top tier of the grooms’ cake flew backwards at me. My lips, eyes, cheeks, nose, and forehead were all covered in its rich and sweet-tasting butter icing. I licked my lips and enjoyed the scrumptious treat. Then I ran a finger across my forehead and placed the finger into my mouth and started to suck on it.

“Damn!” escaped Broderick, already beating himself up over the accident.

“Shovel my sidewalk!” said Lucille, which caused a little chuckle to escape my sugary coated mouth.

I was covered in icing from my shoulders up. The top tier of the cake had been destroyed and was now on my lap. Icing and cake covered my middle. To my surprise the other three tiers were unharmed and would have to suffice at the reception. An easy fix would have to be carried out to the unexpected problem.
