8 Chap 8: Althidon the capital

Althidon is both the name of the capital and the name of the country and I don't know why but even street vendors seems to be selling fist techniques and even C grade, B grade and even higher grades.

Now I see why everyone is selling fist techniques. Turns out that a hero of over 1500 levels had used his soul to create a dungeon in this city thousands of years ago and every 50-100 monsters would drop inheritance crystals which have one fist skill in them this is a heaven for people who fights with their fists. The bad part is you can't get any bodies from the dungeon. Well I still have three weeks before the Royal Academy's entrance exam so I should go and check it out starting tomorrow.

I found an inn to stay at had my dinner and slept till 6 am in the morning then I went to the dungeon they told me that there was an entrance fee for every time I entered so I wen't to the marketplace and bought some dried meat that would be enough for two months even though I was going to stay for three weeks. This was because my regeneration used my bodys energy so if I got hurt I would have to eat more after getting ready I went into the dungeon and started killing every monster that I came in contact with I also memorized the road that I have taken so that I wouldn't get lost if I went deeper and thats exactly what I did I went deeper and deeper the monsters weren't getting any more powerful but their numbers were getting more and more by the way I have been calling them monsters but they are human-like monsters that fight with their fists and they are about 2 meters which is not that longer than I am. They son't give me any skills when I kill hem but drill seems to be progressing way faster than it used to be and its already level 12 I don't know if it will evolve again or not (It won't but it will get more powerful don't worry). I have earned about 100 inheritance crystals in one day at first I was 73 lvl and it was hard for me to kill a lot of the monsters on my own but after leveling up a few more times and using the inheritance crystals to get D grade and C grade skills to integrate with my drill I am able to kill way more than the first day I got 200 more inheritance crystals in my second day and 300 on my first day and after that I kept earning about 300 inheritance crystals a day and I exited the dungeon after I got 5133 skills in total most of them were D class there was about 500 C class and there was only 5 B class skills which I learnt but I couldn't integrate them into my drill since it wasn't B class but now it is and with the integration of the 5 B class skills even if it isn't the most powerful B class skill it is pretty powerful. At the 9th day I reached level 100 but I didn't want to become a transcendent before getting my drill to either A or S tier so that I can continue to use it after after I become even a demigod and currently there is no one after me but if I show off too much that might not be the case and Normally the learnt skills you have would be pretty useless for most people as they can't integrate it with anything else but the skills in the skill tree are able to grow the only reason I can integrate skills to my drill is because it a unique skill I earned from the Blood merger and I have been trying to find out what changed when it evolved into E2 but I still don't have any idea. I also wanted to test id I could add monster skills to my drill if I can I know a lot of monsters that are using penetration type attack abilities to pierce armor and I will try my luck with the monsters since I have thousands of skills integrated into my drill I can now penetrate a lot more and my movement and judgement in battle has increased because I have been fighting a lot well there is 3 days before the Royal Academy's entrance exam so I'll look for information about monsters that have penetration type abilities from the adventurers guild in this town

Well the adventurers guild in this town is massive but I can sense people are not as friendly as they were in viridian city still I ask for the info about the monsters and there are 34 monsters around the vicinity of the town that uses penetrative abilities so I started hunting them and a few of them gave me the penetrative type of skills that I was looking for exactly 6 skills

I tried integrating them with the drill and it worked beautifully and it advanced the skill more than a C grade skill would almost as much as a B grade and I was shocked because there are hundreds of monsters that use penetrative abilities if I kill even 200-300 species it would probably be enough to upgrade my drill to A grade.

I wonder what is the final limit of inheritance crystals and how much I can earn before it loses effectiveness well thats for another time now I need to go participate in the entrance exam

I reach the Academy entrance and there seems to be more than 1000 people here I wonder what the tests will be like I heard they take only 20-30 people every year.

I found my mates from the caravan trip two of them are participating in the test it seems the others just came to check their combat powers against people who are participating

A man in black attire comes out of the gate and says

" Anyone who is over level 100 and under age 25 to my left, anyone on level 100 and below that are also under 25 to my right you have 30 seconds anyone over age 25 leave now"

20-30 people turn around and leave and the rest of us do what we are told I go to the right side of the man and there is only 2 people who is to the left side of him and I am shocked I thought there would be at least a few tens of people there but I guess not.

" the two of you just go straight in to the central building and get your school clothes rest of you follow me"

We start following and the man keeps going and going and after about 30 minutes somebody asked where we are going and the main said

"Currently we are circling the whole Academy and we will not stop until 5 full laps are done and after every lap I will increase my speed anyone who is more than 300 meters away from me when we finish the test is eliminated and whoever gets to finish it will advance to the second test which is the last one"

We kept on walking and walking and I realized some people were unable to keep up and some of them started sweating profusely and after the third round we had only 200 people remaining after the fourth lap we had 100 and I also started feeling tired and I was using most of my power to reach the teacher but I still was able to go for at least 5-6 mire laps with this speed soon the first test ended and there was 96 people only then the second tester who was a female in a blue dress with a dazzling figure came and said

"Your next test is to look at the scriptures in the walls over there and try to learn as much as you can in the 3 hours you are allowed to you will be tested at the end of the exam the higher level you reach the harder it will be to go further"

I started working on the first scripture in the fist technique wall and it was pretty easy to learn I finished it in 30-40 seconds and left for the second one a few more people came after 20-30 more seconds but I was focused on learning the skill after 5 more minutes I was done and started moving towards the third scripture and I realized the skills I got from the scriptures merged on their own and I remembered reading brute strength technique part 1 after I finished learning the first skill and now it said pat 1&2

It took me 15 minutes to finish the third scripture and I saw that there was 2 more scriptures and another wall for fist fighting techniques if you finished you could go and learn another technique, I finish the last two techniques in about an hour and now the skill turned into brute strength technique complete and it was a B grade skill but I didn't integrate it directly as I will be tested on it also it is not really compatible with penetration but bot being powerful and having penetration might be a nice combo I learned one more skill before the time was over its name was one punch moves the world it was harder than the first one but I finished it quicker I don't know how Now I had about half an hour to wait so started trying the movements of the skills I got at first I was just meh but in a few minutes I got the gist of the skills fortunately they weren't skills that could level like the monster skills I got or the skills you get from your skill tree so I didn't need to work on them for weeks to get the gist of the skills.

The learning period ended and they started testing us out of The 96 people 73 people got eliminated 22 people became outer students and became an inner student

I asked what they meant by inner outer student and the teacher told me that outer disciples didn't get any resources and they had to do missions to get contribution points to even get a g grade skill but inner disciples didn't have to do missions they could finish tasks in the academy such as the million steps forest or the unmovable waterfall. I was placed in a room of my own with its own bathroom and training room and even its own gravity increaser which could go up to 100000000(100 million) times the gravity of the earth we live in I started with 10x to see if it would do anything and to my surprise I earned a few stat points in str, vit and dex but only a few points and not much I asked teacher if there was any way to increase my stat points without leveling she told me to consume some pills given by the academy every month and increase the gravity as much as I could and use skills again and again so both my power and skills would get more refined after that she told me I could also finish some tasks in the academy get contribution points and use those on a body cultivation technique and some more advanced pills she told me that people could earn up to 300-500 stat points in all their stats from some of the cultivation techniques

I went to the million steps forest to see what it was and turns out every step you take you have to face people of your same level and their numbers increase more and more every time until it reaches 20 and stays that way for at least hundreds of steps and your progression would be deleted when you are defeated but the time in there is accelerated by 86400 times so every day in there is a second outside. They were able to achieve this with the help of the king and some divine artifacts and it was because it was happening in the persons mind and not in real life that they could achieve this.
