4 The Monocle and the Spell and the Wand

Ben opened the chest and found 3 things inside. One was a monocle, one was a spell tome, and the last was a wand. When he looked though all of the chest he hadn't found the letter that his father said he left. Since he couldn't find it he decided to go over the things that he left in the chest.

The monocle:

Name-The Eye of God

Grade/Rarity-legendary

Use-Is a fashionable piece of eye wear that will be a staple at any party.

Enchantment-Able to tell the wearer the traits that both inanimate objects and living objects possess.

-The monocle can be broken down for the enchantment and materials. Do you want to proceed. Y/N

-The system has many more functions but they cannot be accessed until you get to a certain level.(BOS)

-Well that's good to know. Yes please give me the enchantment.(Ben)

-The enchantment will be given as a skill and a passive one at that.(BOS)

Ben proceeded to the spell if it was from his father it's probably good.

The Spell:

Name- Devourer's Craving

Grade/Rarity-Legendary

Mana Usage- 300

Type- Passive

Spell Description- Half of the powers from your enemy will be taken from them after they die. Their bodies and gear will be swallowed when taking their powers. There will be no drops when spell is used.

Ben proceeded to learn it from the system and he was shocked when he saw the amount of mana that it took when it ate. That was more than half of his current mana and his mana capacity is practically the same as an adept mage.

Finally the wand. When he looked at it he didn't think too much of it. It was a dull looking wand that didn't project very much of a powerful feel but he knew that anything that his father gave to him couldn't be bad.

The Wand:

Name- The Mages Best Friend

Grade/Rarity-Common(it is upgradable and will upgrade with the power level of the user)

Attack Power- 2-5

Description-It is upgradable and will upgrade with the power level of the user. The attack power doubles every time user goes up 10 levels but it starts when user contracts the wand and only starts at level 5.

Thinking of how everything that his father gave to him was massively overpowered he realized that the chest itself couldn't be too bad. Knowing that he was alone and that no one will help him he asked Black if he could make him something.

"Hey Black can you make me a dagger?"(Ben)

"Yeah on the house, too. But why do you want that?"(Black)

"For self defense seeing as my dad didn't teach me any spells yet."(Ben)

"I'll do my best to make it. Also your dad told me to tell you to go to the Mages Academy. It is a school that will teach you magic and it will give you a place to stay. It will be starting back up in a month and it'll take almost two weeks to get there by foot."(Black)

"Will do."(Ben)

Ben proceeded home to see if his dad had any spells that he left in his library when the system did something that it never done before.
