8 The Library

After enrolling the group got placed at different dorms and were put into different classes. Ben who concealed his actual strength was still put in one of the top classes because he still projected massive amounts of mana.

After settling in his new room, which was a 3 room dorm that he shared with another person that he hadn't met yet, he went to the classroom that he was told to go to. But because he wasn't familiar with the layout of the campus he didn't get there before the class started so he tried to open the door as silently as possible.

Getting to the last open spot the teacher turned around and decided to make an example out of the late student.

"Hello there. And what is your reason for being late?"(Teacher)

"I'm sorry but I just arrived today and I haven't been able to familiarize myself with the layout of the academy yet."(Ben)

"What is this. Is a student talking back to a teacher? Get out of my classroom and just because I'm magnanimous I will tell you the directions to the library to learn because you are not welcome back here."(Teacher)

"May I know your name before you kick me out and ruin my future."(Ben)

"Of course you heathen, My name is the Benevolent Ash."(Ash the teacher)

Following the ape of a teachers directions he was soon to arrive at the library but what he didn't expect was the library needing a student id to get into. The teacher was suppose to give him one but seeing that idiot wasn't going to help he decided to go to the student help center.

Listening to the student the center employee couldn't help but agree to the fact that Ash is just a plain douche and decided to give Ben his student id anyway. Ben was intelligent and played to the person and seeing that badmouthing Ash worked he asked if others thought that Ash was such a bad guy.

The employee went into an in depth situation where Ash beat up an employee just because he messed up and put a random person into his class. He thought he was allowed to do this because his family, even if it was further back then when their grandparents were even born had a slightly higher social standing then most. But in reality no one told the higher ups because someone else would do it.

Ben returned to the library to read as much information about the world as he could and if at all possible learn some new skills and spells. Entering into the library he thought that the insides of the library were much larger than the outside. It must have been space magic because the outside made it look like a 2 story building, but when he was inside, it looked like it went up for 20 floors. When he was looking around an old man nearing his 80s was sitting behind a counter and asked him a question out of the blue.

"Hello young man, what can i do you for?"(librarian)

"Well if i could i wanna read everything possible inside this library."(Ben)

"That might take you a while. This library has over 15 million books about practically everything about the known world. It has books about how to cultivate magical energy, books about secondary jobs like blacksmithing and apothecaries, and books about history and everything in between. Also some books you are not allowed to read yet. But how about this if you can read all of the books in the ground floor of the library in a month i will let you read anything in the library. "(librarian)

"Challenge accepted."(Ben)
