10 The Librarian Dave and the Circle of Knowledge

Dave told Ben to follow him and all Ben could do was comply.

Ben didn't know what was going on but he thought that the librarian that let him stay and practically live at the library wouldn't do anything to harm him. Following Dave, Ben was taken on a bee line towards a giant building that towered over any other in the academy. That was the research building that the academy was famed for. The building was a massive building that made the Library look like a child's play set. As soon as Ben got into the building he saw something that he didn't expect from this world. There was not a speck of dust anywhere in the main lobby and the whole place looked to be perfectly maintained. Dave brought him down a hallway and he saw that there were offices and research rooms everywhere.

Dave took Ben to an elevator that took them down underground. When the doors opened what he saw was a room of men and women. These people were people famed for their intellect and sturdy work ethic that brought them to the peak of their jobs. Ben who didn't actually know who these people were was confused on why he was here and why Dave brought him there.

"Greeting ladies and gentlemen. I have brought a special person that i would like to add to our group. Yes he is only seven but what he knows is more than what most people know in a hundred lifetimes."(Dave)

Approving of their colleague's introduction of the boy a kind looking lady came up to Ben and decided to give him a piece of candy.

"Boy from what our mutual friend has told us about you, and he has said a lot, you are what we like to call genius. So we have decided to show you the ropes and teach your our respected fields of teaching. I know you don't know what this is about but trust me when I saw we will treat you very well(for the most part)."

"We are the Circle of Knowledge and what you learn from us will leave all others of the academy wishing they had a smidgen of the knowledge that you will hold."

"The eight of us are the leading experts of our fields in this country and we will teach you knowledge from Blacksmithing to Pill Forging, from Beast Taming to Navigating, and you will learn everything in between. I hope you good luck and remember that it is not what we can teach, it is what you can extract from our teachings."
