6 The Dagger and the Start of a Journey

After getting a nights sleep he decided to go to the forge and see if Black was done with his dagger.

Getting to the forge he saw the shirtless dwarf stick a dagger of about a foot long into a vat of something and was surprised to see its stats after coming out.

Dagger:

Name: Dagger of Slaughter

Grade: Rare

Damage: 50-52

Description: This dagger is one of two daggers made specifically for Ben Moore and does more damage as him as the wielder. Made by the Dwarf Blacksmith, Black.

Use: Using the dagger set you do more damage and there is a bleeding factor. If using one of the set you lose the bleed factor and only have the extra damage.

Thinking logistically this is a perfect dagger for an assassin because of the high damage output and small minimal damage difference. Seeing this and realizing that Black must have worked all night to make the dagger set and the fact that they were so good he couldn't help but get a little teary eyed.

Seeing that Ben was crying the dwarf looked his way and finishing his work by putting on a handle so dark red that it looked black and took out the second dagger and put the two into a small box that he gave to Ben.

Ben took it and started to say that he would pay him back but Black just put a hand on his shoulder and told him Althus had been a great friend and it was only some materials so it was fine. What he didn't tell Ben was that the materials alone was enough to pay for the construction of half a kingdom.

"Ben, get on your way or you will miss the first day of school. The group that is leaving for the Academy is going soon."(Black)

"OK, I'll be off and I will pay you back for this Uncle Black."(Ben)

When Ben got to the village gate Black teared up a bit and thought of all the times Altus brought him around the forge to play.

Ben got to the village gate and met up with a group of children of 5 and 2 supervising adults. If he could remember correctly the 2 adults were village guards and of the 5 children he only knew 2 of them.

"Hey Ben, long time no see." said a brown hair boy that was sitting next to a blonde girl. The boy was named Evan and the girl was names Abby.

After a couple of minutes the group set off for their futures.
