8 What happened

The driver informed us that it would be 30 minutes before we got even close enough to the location, so i took it upon myself to be honest. "I'm a guardian, i protect pure bloods and i drink blood. Its all new to me because I just turned last Friday and its still new to me I've only done this once before and I'm not sure what I'm doing now." I blurted out my entire truth waiting for Noah to hate me. "Ok so not only does my girlfriend look hot,play games, watch anime and study hard. You are also a vampire. So am i supposed to be afraid of you or just love you unconditionally?" He grinned and blurted out his questions like it was rhetorical. The driver chimed in with a grin, " be very afraid but if you think you can handle it i say love her." we all laughed after that even the assistant. " By the way we brought you something to drink since we haven't brought you any since Monday. Growing guard needs blood." The driver let me know and joked at the same time. Then i seen the cooler on the floor with bags of blood, the radio was turned on so that it wasn't weird. I changed again my teeth ached my eyes were different yet again being a reddish tint to my hazel eyes now. I seen my reflection in the car window and i had a feeling of disgust again, how was I going to be loved as a monster.

"Are you going to drink that or me?" Noah turned my chin to look at him while he asked with an earnest look. I wanted to sink my teeth into warm flesh and drink fresh blood, but i had to fight that. I know I probably couldn't stop even if i tried. I grabbed a bag and tore the tab at the top and drank as much as i could without making a mess, I made sure i looked the other way so he couldn't see me but i knew i had already gotten a little sloppy when i felt a small bit of it leak from the side of my mouth. I was satisfied and full, i had drank all but 2 of the 6 bags they brought me. I wiped the blood off my face and looked forward when I knew we had arrived at the location, everyone knew it. It was a security company where they also did blood donations downstairs at the donor hall, The building was owned by the security but rented the lower half to a blood bank and a business that handled safety boxes and savings accounts. It made sense now that it was run by vampires and that the entire structure and its 9 floors and almost foot ball field length was 3 of the most important businesses to us. We went down to the parking structure and checked in, after parking we went up the elevator and to the 5th floor. There Luis waited dressed in sweat pants and a tank top, he smiled at me then seen Noah and grew grim and angry. "What is this, are we disobeying orders today?" Luis boomed in a overly masculine tone. "No, at least I hadn't meant to. It just happened and I was thinking maybe you would understand." I flashed my rare colored eyes hoping he would get that he was the human i wanted to marry. Instead he picked up a bag and threw it at me and said to change and we would see if he could stay. I went around the corner to the girls changing room, when i came back the gym room made sense to be a sparing facility and gym. The staffs were replaced with swords and it hit like a truck full of bricks, I'd have to fight to keep Noah and maybe even let him live that made my muscles coil and my eyes narrow in on the one person who posed a threat, Luis.

In the corner the driver and assistant sat on either side of noah, and both looked like they might kill him if I came close to them. Luis threw a sword to me and said to fight for the man that I keep, lose and I lose him. Noah's face was scared and shocked with his mouth open, it hit him just like it hit me, he might die if I lose and I'd be fighting for his life. I took up my sword, this wasn't even a fencing one or a practice sword it was a real metal sword about as long as my leg and heavy enough that if i swing it i won't stop till i hit something. He came at me and almost hit me with his sword but i dodged it by falling and bending my body at the knees and laying flat. It surprised everyone but didn't surprise Luis long enough because he came back and almost had his sword in my heart. I moved his away from me by swinging mine around and blocking it, i got back to my feet and charged at him eyes fully changed back to a blue tinged color and cut his arm. Everyone including him were surprised and before a word could be said the assistant had Noah in his hands and the driver was rushing to get between us. Luis dropped his sword but there was a knife to Noah's throat, they had messed up, i felt in that moment the biggest threat was me but so was the knife. I was ready, for what I didn't know but my body was prepared and so was I. The next thing i did was take a breathe and charge passed the driver and Luis and bring my sword past Noah and to the assistants throat. At that instant i could smell Noah's blood and see the fear in the man I was about to kill, Luis yelled stop and the knife dropped but i didn't. Noah turned around to see me, both hands wrapped around the handle of my sword barely cutting into the mans throat where anyone knew it would take seconds to kill him. I was now afraid of myself, i didn't remember moving or seeing his face as i went by. I looked up at him as he reached for the blade to lower it and before he touched it I finally moved and dropped it, I fell to my knees crying. After everything I hadn't cried about what I was and what i would be doing. I cried for the first man I killed like a animal but now I cried because i was nothing more than a cold blooded killer with twice the power. Noah held me as i cried and it only made me cry harder, he patted my shoulder and wiped the hair from my face and said,"You did your job just like you said you would, Im safe and you protected me. From what just happened I have no doubt you could kick but like a hardcore Guardian,So stop crying we are all ok and we are safe." He spoke softly and amazingly calmed me down. We stood up and before I knew it both men were kneeling down in front of us, "Your better than any guard I've seen and you by all means out rank these men and maybe even me, after more training clearly. You love this boy clearly and very deeply, keep him use him but be careful not to break him or put him in danger. Not for his sake but for the other guys, I've never seen a guard move so fast, I didn't even see you move. I'm thinking ill have you out as a part time security guard here with those moves, even without being in this situation before. I'm proud, now go home get some rest ill send food with you." He spoke calmly and prideful of me but never really looked at anyone else. It made me feel scarred even more of myself, no one seen me move and yet I did and I protected Noah. I planned at that moment if we lived long enough I hope to marry him.
