5 Getting back to normal

"Honey are you ok? You didnt call me when u got home what happened?" Noah sounded concerned. "I just got home the bus was late and had to turn around for a little kid again." I was almost scarred to tell him the truth,what was i suposed to do. If i told him a guy dragged me to a building to take my blood and change my entire future and life,he would call the cops. Im not sure how that would go but its not what i needed. " Ok well it worried me because you didnt text me either. I guess if your ok then we can talk about the movies sunday. Did you want to go with me or were you going to be busy?" Noah asked in a shy manner. "yes id love to go ill meet you there." I was excited to finally get to enjoy my teenage life, it was rare this happened but i couldnt wait for sunday. we hung up and mom came home, nothing different just got relaxed ate food and fell asleep on the sofa. She later went to bed to get sleep for work the next day, after that i got a call from luis. I answered my phone in a whisper, " Why are you calling so late its 2 in the morning, how did you know i would answer?" I was curious afterwards. He simply answered in a cool tone. " Im outside i see ur light on and i want to talk to you, open the window after you turn the tv on. Id like to come in." I did what he said turned on the tv to a crime show where someone was robbed and a building was burning. I opened my window so luis and his 6 ft 3 in height could climb in. sure enough his slinder form climbed into my single story window to my also very purple girls room. "Thank you, now we know what you are. Yes you have our blood but your eyes changing means that your weaker in strength but stronger in blood, in other words your not quite a pure blood but you are not exactly a guard. Your perfect for both but your different because our laws and regulations dont apply and your able to make more guards with your own blood. You could marry either pure or guards but we would still have to complete your process." Luis explained this with a sense of passion unlike before. " So what do you have to do?" I wanted something different I wanted to see it and feel this difference. "Ill give you my own blood since the process is already started naturally, all you have to do is drink my blood and you will fall asleep. Ill be here to take care of you, you wont have to drink blood but you will need it to survive. Food is a normal thing to eat besides blood, i of course love pizza." With a smile on his face he seemed to warm up with explaining this much about my new life. He took a knife out and put it to his arm he looked up at me waiting for me to agree, I nodded my head nervous and excited. He cut into his skin with the sharp blade and it started to bleed instantly, he slide it across put his hand in a fist bit his lip and said "here go ahead". It didnt take much for me to give in and put my mouth on his arm, drag my tongue over the cut it tasted bitter and metalic but after a few seconds i tasted more than just that. He started to taste sweet then like something i wanted better than any candy or food i had ever eaten, i look at him and he patted my head and pushed my hair back. He almost seemed like a proud brother seeing his sister kick the ball in the goal for the first time,then it started to get fuzzy. My sight changed from normal to hazey and fuzzy i felt hungery and tired my head felt heavy and my body weak, he seen me start to lose focus. He stoped bleeding and i stoped drinking i raised my head to get up and instead fell over. He caught me and put me on the bed and wrapped his arm in a bandage, i was amazed how prepared he always was. "Your doing good all you need is to rest dont worry about how long you sleep i know you mother works tomorrow ill move somethings around so it looks like you got up. Just rest as much as you can it will affect you if you dont." He took a stern tone while pulling the blanket over my body. I fell asleep instantly my body burning my head throbbing, i changed between burning hot to freezing cold. I felt my body changing my bones ached and felt like they were melting and my skin felt like it ripping apart. It changed to feel like my was tough and firm, my bones felt like stone and my muscles felt primed and ready for any activity. I woke up and looked at the clock it said 5 o clock in the afternoon i thought i slept all day i looked over and luis was standing next to the door he had a cup of something that smelled amazing, i felt awake and energized. I asked him how long i was asleep he said it was sunday so almost 2 whole days. I was suprised and worried i had to get to the movies by 7 noah would be waiting then i got worried he had texted me and i hadnt even responded. I found it next to my bed with 20 messages all saying noah couldnt wait for tonight and that he would be there at 7 or how he was getting ready. I found one saying i had been accepted by the guard and my training would be completed with guardian Luis head guard of the city. I was to be his subordinate and to complete all tasks to the best of my new abilities. I had to get ready and talk to my mother, but before i could luis took my phone and replaced it with the cup and i instantly knew it was blood and i wanted it. Fresh warm blood my mouth watered my teeth ached i felt the first urges of my kind and i realized i was literally a vampire. I hated that word suddenly i was just a guardian, now i liked that better and accepted it. Before i could stop myself i had drank almost the entire cup and i heard luis almost fall over and catch himself with a chuckle. "You really are one of us but you have the appetite of a full blooded pure. Im suprised honestly i know you smelled it but i put it in front of you and i thought you were going to take me instead. I see how your eyes change it is interesting and a rare sight to see, keep in mind you need to learn to control that and your hunger. Now i know you want to go out tonight and ill let you but this is just to see if you can handle being in a building of humans besides your family. And no you will not be attracted to the scent of your own family so your mother and father where ever he is will not be an issue unless you go long periods without it." He finally took on the tone he had before, bored and monotone. I couldnt believe it this is how it felt, i was strong and focused nothing could stop me in any way.
