chapter 1: new beginning

Once a bustling city, now shrouded in darkness, the penitentiary stood as a grim reminder of the sins committed within the walls. Among the inmates , there was one man who had captured the attention. A man who has been sentenced to death for the crimes he had committed.

As the day of his execution arrived, he found himself walking towards the death chair, his footsteps echoing through the hot, desolate hallway. Chains clinked with each step, a haunting melody that seemed to foretell his impending fate. Yet, despite the solemnity of the situation, a faint smile upon he;s face.

"Belamore, the crimes you made troubled innocent lives, killed dreams, and impair our society, because of your selfish deeds family were ruined do you understand the consequence of your actions? Does your own death carry the same weight as the devastating impact of the malevolence you brought?"

But with a teasing laugh the man answered. "Do you believe that the world is just? The man asked. that God made us all equal despite our differences, isn't that true? The idea that, with diligence and faith, everyone is capable of doing anything! But no! The key to success is having the brains, and wealth something not every one is born with. Good fortune is only for the wise. No matter how hard you strive or how strongly you believe in yourself there will always people who are above you, who are smarter than you. Failure is inevitable, success is not for everyone, and the world is unfair by design. for the people like me it is a fight for survival we either we kill or get killed."

As the flashback faded away, he found himself standing before the death chair. The room was silent, save for the sound of his own heart beat pounding in his ears. In the final moment, his smile held a deeper meaning.

[Chapter-1]

Achylys! Achylys! Achylys! Wake up already shouted by xin sisi. Work is already stacking up, lets get going right away. As she drag the sleeping man to his station.

[20 year old Achylys Azazer who works in a electronic repair shop.]

Here are the list of the things you need to fix today, said sisi.

Achylys perused the tablet while indulging in some lazy reading.

Did you stay-up all night again? She ask curiously.

Its non of your business I have many things to do, move away and don't disturb me. Achylys replied while maintaining his composure.

Your cold as ever. Sisi said with a smile and walks away.

[later that day]…

Breaking news; song inc. Will once again host the annual hacking games. The Competition that highlight not only their hacking skills but also their creativity in coding . It is said that later this year is the schedule for the event. For more updates please stay tuned.

With a teasing voice, Sisi added, '' looks like its worth to join this year don't you think achy? The cash prize was double this year not to mention the possibility to be chosen as a part of song inc. Group of programmers.''

You think so? I don't really care, Achylys replied while looking at the clock. Its 6 o`clock in the evening already my shift is over in gonna head out first, I need to do something important.

Thats not fair, you says that all the time help me close the store first!

[Cling!] The shops door rang and a customer entered.

There are still customers coming in, open for a while.

Wait you wicked.., but is already to late Achylys already left.

While on his way, rain started pouring down, he was forced to stop to a small shop to buy an umbrella. In the store he immediately look for an umbrella and when he was about to pay. A girl wearing a mask suddenly entered it looks like she run in order to make it to the shop.

"Excuse me? Where can I find an umbrella''?

Sorry ma`am we ran out of umbrella as of the moment, this gentleman here got the last one, said the shop assistant.

The two meets on an eye contact. Then the girl swiftly ask;

Can I have the umbrella? I have something very important to do, I really need to go now. and I can pay you double for the price your about to pay. But Achylys quickly rejected and said. 'I need it too''. he does`nt really care as he continued to pay for the umbrella and walk past her. But it seems that the girl was baffled by the crude gesture of Achylys and suddenly grabs and holds a grit to his wrist and stated;

"But i'm the type of person who gets what ever I want , if I want to.''

Once again they meet on an eye contact.

Achylys turned for a while.

"I repeat, I need that umbrella and I want you to give it to me''. As she glared at him.

But achylys didn't even move a sweat and ignore her. Which made the girl pissed even more.

Are you acting cool right now? Or are you really a mute? The girl smirk, I don't really have time for this mess . JUST GIVE IT TO ME! As she's about to reach the umbrella on his hand. Achylys , however, quickly raised the umbrella to the air as she reach for it and while doing so, his right hand held the umbrella up, while left hand held the girl by the arm, to stop her and preventing her from moving. As the two were in a awkward position with faces was close to one another, then achylys muttered. '' but a brat like you cant order me around!'' as he let go off the girl and left the store. The girl was taken off guard because she could'nt stop the man and momentarily confused as to why her heart was beating heavily. The girl took a second to leave the store, but when she did, she notice a student holding a recognisble umbrella;

Were did you get that? As she look at her.

And the student responded, pointing to a man strolling trough the rain, "that man offered me his umbrella.''

How much of a fool are you? The girl asked, staring at the man she just had fought with in utter astonishment.
