62 BSWS CH-62 The Chunin Exams XXX - Gods? Demons? Titans? Part-3

Sakura and Jorogumo followed the direction in which Sakura's blood fog led them. Jorogumo's huge size made her leisurely crawl be barely matched by Sakura's sprint.

As they followed the direction in which Sakura's blood fog led them, Jorogumo's expression started worsening.

"Oh no, not her.." Jorogumo muttered with a distasteful expression on her face.

"What is the matter?" Sakura asked.

"Ugh, if I am guessing correctly … the one you are being led to is someone I detest." Jorogumo said said with a scowl distorting her pretty face.

"But well, if she is the one you have an affinity to, I guess I can endure it.." Jorogumo said as she led the way.

Soon they reached an area that was filled with forests, rivers and mountains. However, from the moment they stepped into that place, a powerful pressure acted upon both of them.

"Ugh, she is so bitchy about people entering her territory." Jorogumo grumbled. Seeing the pressure hindering Sakura, Jorogumo countered the pressure with an aura of her own.

"Don't worry, she will not be doing all this once she meets you. Otherwise, you can just ignore her and summon only me!!" Jorogumo said with a fawning smile at Sakura.

They continued further and saw a wide variety of draconic creatures roaming around in the surroundings. The farther they went in the stronger were the draconic creatures around them. Luckily, Jorogumo's aura scared them enough to keep them away.

Suddenly they arrived at a clearing in the middle of the forest. Three enormous serpent like dragons made of energy were coiled around each other in the clearing, forming a weird throne.

On the throne sat a gorgeous woman with an hourglass figure. She was dressed in what looked similar to form fitting tube top and shorts combo, but made of scale like material.

Floating wispy pieces of cloth were attached to the outfit, that seemed to float protectively around the woman on the throne. Her crystalline blue log hair fanned out behind her like a waterfall of silk.

"Well, look what the my pets dragged in. The Fallen Arachne Princess, Jorogumo herself, is deigning to grace me with her presence." the woman on the throne sent a piercing gaze towards Jorogumo.

"Hmph, Well I would not have come here if not for important business, Tiamat." Jorogumo said huffily and crossed her arms.

"Hmm, sure," Tiamat said with a smirk. Her eyes then moved to gaze at Sakura as her blood fog coiled around Tiamat's throne.

"So this is her then? The First Summoner to arrive in to Five-Span Intrinsic Archipelago in a millennia.."

"My name is Sakura Haruno." Sakura said firmly.

"Sakura huh," Tiamat said as her pupils shifted to a draconic form "a beautiful name which is hiding the terrible power underneath."

Tiamat then looked at Jorogumo "Do you know how much blood fog she has attributed to me?"

"You were always better at that then me. You tell us." Jorogumo replied.

"She has the potential to be much stronger and versatile than any of our previous summoners. From what my Dragon Eyes tell me, 1/3 of the Blood Fog is attributed to you, 1/2 for me, and yet she has another 1/6 remaining for another entity." Tiamat said with a predatory smile as she licked her lips.

"Three Entities?" Jorogumo said in surprise "How can a mortal soul bear such tremendous connection to Three Entities on our level?"

"I have no idea," Tiamat said before turning to Sakura "But you truly are such an interesting mortal. You have even strengthened your body and mind to such an great level while still being a little hatchling. I am greatly looking forward to what you will become when you grow up."

"All that is fine, but who is Third Entity?" Jorogumo asked "The Blood Fog ritual was not made for finding more than Two Entities. This is an anomaly that will prevent the normal way this is used, especially since the remaining part is only 1/6."

"Hmm, let me try something," Tiamat said as she raised her palm towards the 1/6 blood fog that was left for the third entity. Flowing formless energy construct emerged from her hand. The construct wrapped around the remaining blood fog and glowed in a crystalline sanguine light.

"Dragon Eyes of Truth : Clairvoyance!!" Tiamat intoned and her eyes became surrounded with glowing flame like energy. She soon stopped within a few seconds and dispelled her technique with a scowl.

"What happened?" Jorogumo asked.

"You wont believe who her third entity she has affinity to is," Tiamat said.

"Who?" Jorogumo asked.

"Its that drunk pervert…" Tiamat said with a shudder.

"What?? No way!!" Jorogumo shouted in a disbelieving tone "I thought he was too unique to have anyone gain an affinity to him? Last of his species and owner of that forbidden method.."

"I know. But as it turns out, our little summoner does have an affinity to him, even if that affinity is lower compared to what she has for us." Tiamat said with a sigh.

"So how will we ever find him? He is infamous for not being able to be discovered when he doesn't want to be." Jorogumo grumbled.

"Oh don't worry about that," Tiamat said "I am one of the only ones who can use my Dragon Eyes to find him. He must have already discovered my actions and will be coming to us instead."

"Hmm, it will be interesting then, it has been a really long time since I have seen him." Jorogumo said.

"Yes, me too.." Tiamat said as she thought back to his exploits "Lord of the Night Parade of a Hundred Demons, Infamous Master of Illusions, The One Treads between Reality and Dream…"

"..Nurarihyon.." Jorogumo completed Tiamat's sentence.

He stepped on the surface of the lake, walking without leaving ripples. As he drunk from his Sake bowl, he admired the large and clear moon in the sky. Even though it was morning, the Moon was always with him when he needed it.

In the middle of a sip, a Sakura petal fell into his bowl, floating on top of the Sake while causing ripples on its surface. His eyes glued onto the Sakura Petal, watching it float around disorderly in his bowl.

Suddenly he turned his head in a certain direction and smiled. Taking another sip, he sighed in relaxation.

"Fate is going to dance on top of her palms….. Arrogant overlords who thinks themselves to be gods will quake before her might….. a flower that wont wilt in the face of the worst of tribulations… for she is the Final Fate…" he muttered dreamily as he suddenly disappeared from top of the lake.

As Sakura, Jorogumo and Tiamat waited, a sudden ripple like effect was seen in their surroundings. Their eyes searched for the source before finally fixing upon a figure sitting on the bough of a large tree.

They saw Nurarihyon sitting there, leisurely sipping on his Sake. He wore a red cloak over a black kimono with traditional Japanese sandals (zōri). He was tall with his hair being long and protruding outward from the back of his head, stylishly being tied by a thread near the tip.

The top half of his hair was a golden-white while the bottom half of his hair was black. Black ink-like markings could be seen around his eyes and in his hair, giving him a devilish charm. His dark golden eyes shimmered with mirth as his gaze turned to the three beautiful females looking at him.

"So, I heard you all were looking for me." Nurarihyon said in a hypnotic voice, as he looked at each of them in turn before fixing his eyes on Sakura.
