37 BSWS CH-37 The Chunin Exams V - Deceptions, Plans and Justice

In the forest, Sakura activated Chakra Sense to the best possible extent as she guided the team towards the nearest safe spot. Though she could have directly led them to the nearest scroll needed by them and finish off the test, that would not let her achieve her plans.

After searching for a while, They found a suitable ring of trees near the river that could serve as their temporary base.

"Alright, now that we have our base, lets make battle plans." Sakura said.

"What is there to plan about? We search for other teams, beat them up and get the scroll." Naruto said while smacking his palm with his fist. Sasuke gave a silent agreement to Naruto's statement.

"I doubt it will be that easy Naruto." Sakura said as she quickly drew the map transmitted to her by UTS on a scroll "Look, we are here, approximately near this part of the river. The tower is still around 9.1 Km away, but that is not the actual point of consideration."

"Lets say we beat a team and get their scroll, and it is luckily the Heaven Scroll that we need. We will still have to make it to the Tower safely while fending off all the other teams, who at this point will know that we have both scrolls as we are going to the Tower." Sakura said, achieving her goal of making Naruto and Sasuke think carefully about their actions.

"So what do we do?" Sasuke asked.

"We will employ basic skill of a Shinobi, Deception." Sakura said "The first part of my plan relies heavily on you, Naruto. If it goes right, then we will be able to eliminate a majority of the teams effortlessly."

"What do I have to do?" Naruto asked.

"First, we will be relying heavily on Shadow Clone and Transformation Jutsu of yours. You will make copies of us, whom I will give duplicates of Earth Scrolls."

"The 'Clone' teams will then go all over the Forest of Death and pretend to hide the scroll in locations that are slightly private, yet will easily be discovered if you have a bit of skill."

"If we are lucky, then the teams that 'find' you and see you hiding the scroll will take it and make a go for the Tower. All we will have to do at that point is make some other clones of Naruto wait near the Tower."

"As soon as someone with Heaven scroll picks up one of our duplicate Earth scroll and makes a go for the Tower, I will know. Naruto will create and dismiss a Shadow clone at that point to tell all his clones about the path that team is taking."

"Naruto's clones can then keep a watch around those paths and attack the team when they come. The job of the clones is to defeat the team if possible, and if not, then stall them and gather information about them until we come to defeat them."

"So, that is the basic outline of my plan. What do you guys think?" Sakura asked.

Naruto and Sasuke went over the plan and clarified a few details they were not clear about. After they they nodded in agreement and put the plan in motion.

Naruto clones moved as a trio, transformed as Team 7, while carrying the duplicate scrolls. They took the scrolls and hid them in various places all over the Forest of Death, making sure to be noticeable by any ninja with decent skills.

Meanwhile, Sakura made a shadow clone and then sat cross-legged in their base and meditated to activate her Chakra Sense to the maximum possible limit. She asked the original Naruto and Sasuke to protect her original body as she activated her Chakra Sense.

At the same time, the Sakura Clone left the Team 7 Trio and made her way towards the direction of Team Shigeri of Kusagakure. This was the team that Karin was part of. Sakura clone had been keeping a track of this team as she wanted to make sure she converted Karin to her side as quickly as possible.

She soon found them hiding in a particular shady grove of trees. When she saw what was going on there, she almost growled in anger.

The two boys on the group were biting Karin's arms and neck mercilessly, just to heal a few scratches and bruises they had received fighting some beasts whose carcasses they were roasting on a fire. If she tried to protest then she was rewarded with kicks and punches to make her shut up.

"Man, her chakra is as delicious as ever," one of the boys said as he released Karin's wrist from his mouth, leaving behind a clear deep bite mark.

"Alright, we have had our fill. You can take a few minutes of rest. But don't forget to watch the food. If it gets even slightly charred then I will personally shove a kunai in you and watch you bleed. Do you get me, Karin?" the other male teammate of Karin, who was Shigeri the team captain, threatened her.

Sobbing in both pain and fear, Karin nodded and shrunk back against a tree trunk. Shigeri sneered at her before turning to his male teammate.

"Alright, let this bitch watch our food. We should go and check out the deal with this scroll." Shigeri said as he and the other boy left to find another team. Karin was left behind, sobbing while she tended to the fire and watched the food.

'Don't worry Karin, I will be right back after taking care of those two scum.' Sakura clone promised Karin mentally as she tracked the two boys. She soon found them near another grove by the meandering point of the river.

She saw that the two boys were checking out some tracks of some other team that was probably resting here some time ago. Sakura clone decided that this was the place she will make as the resting place for these two boys.

Preparing her chakra strings, she sent them at the boys. As soon as they were pierced, Sakura sent their minds into the most imaginative and hellish Genjutsu she could think of.

The boys in the Genjutsu were chased by one team or the other constantly, who tortured the boys and hunted them like common rabbits. Whenever the boys would think they are safe, some other team, or beast or carnivorous plant would attack them.

Sakura felt this was justice for the Hell they had put Karin through. While she had hated them anyway due to what she knew from the Original Timeline, seeing them torture and abuse Karin like that had really triggered her anger, causing her to lash out at them like this.
