10 Farewell

"Hmmm... So this is what it feels like to be free from gravity. Not bad."

In his bedroom, Eiji floated in the air like an astronaut in outer space, no longer bound by Earth's gravity.

After three hours of studying the Limitless Technique, he successfully mastered two forms.

"Manipulating space at the atomic level to produce 'impossibility' for various effects, huh. If Sugawara Michizane's heritage is already this powerful, how formidable was he in the past?"

Apart from the name, Lin Fan's memories held no other information about Sugawara Michizane, one of the Three Great Avenging Spirits famous in Japan. As his descendant, Eiji didn't know much about his ancestor.

Shaking his head, he pushed aside that concern.

"I've mastered Blue and Infinity. To learn Red, mastering the Reverse Cursed Technique is a must. And for Purple... Forget it, let's train Purple after mastering Red."

With his current level of knowledge and the blessing of the Six Eyes, it wouldn't be difficult for Eiji to excel in using Infinity and Blue.

"With the amount of Cursed Energy I have, there's no problem maintaining the state of Infinity for a week, but it will put a tremendous strain on my brain." Eiji mumbled as he analyzed himself in front of the mirror while still floating.

Infinity is the neutral form of the Limitless Technique. It reflects the concept of the mathematical convergence of infinite series and directly originates from the Achilles and tortoise paradox.

The user creates an 'infinite' fractured space between themselves and their opponent, making any attack against them unable to make contact. However, bearer of the Six Eyes can refine this Infinity to various attributes such as mass, speed, shape, and cursed energy.

Eiji and Satoru can control it to the molecular level, allowing simple chemical entities like oxygen to pass through, enabling him to breathe.

"My achievement is still inferior to Satoru Nii-san. He combines Infinity with the Reverse Cursed Technique to restore his brain condition while losing a nearly zero amount of Cursed Energy. This meticulous energy management allows him to maintain Infinity almost indefinitely."

No envy resonated in Eiji's voice; there was only admiration.

"No wonder he's considered the strongest Jujutsu Sorcerer in the modern era. Even the top figures in Jujutsu can only tolerate Satoru Nii-san's arbitrary actions."

There was no hint of jealousy in Eiji's voice, only admiration.

"Since Blue only strengthens the amount of Cursed Energy poured into the Limitless Technique, I mastered it quickly."

Raising his right hand, one of the books on the shelf was pulled towards Eiji.

"From others' perspectives, Blue is similar to telekinesis."

Blue is the reinforced version of the neutral form Infinity, creating a vacuum space. Through this, the user creates a scenario where the world itself is forced to correct itself and fill the negative space, producing a strong attractive force, similar to a powerful magnet.

"There are only four forms of the Limitless Technique. The Gojo Family has existed for over a thousand years, dating back to the Heian Era. Did the previous generations of Six Eyes bearer not innovate and develop the Limitless Technique? Or did they feel it unnecessary because the Limitless Technique was already so powerful?"

Seeing the limited usage methods of the Limitless Technique, Eiji couldn't find the words.

In his view, the Limitless Technique could still be further developed.

"Infinity, Blue, Red, and Purple... No matter how I look at it, it's too few."

Eiji frowned, not too pleased with the Limitless Technique.

He acknowledged each form was very potent, but it was too monotonous.

"Forget it. Before innovating, I have to master the Reverse Cursed Technique to be able to use Red and Purple."

The Reverse Cursed Technique is based on the idea that Cursed Energy is a form of negative energy, and if two negative energies meet, the result is positive energy.

The Reverse Cursed Technique can be used to heal various wounds, including physical injuries, mental wounds, and even death. This technique is powerful and can be used to save lives or reverse defeat.

Although Eiji understood its basic principles, it didn't mean he could immediately master the Reverse Cursed Technique. Just like someone who has theoretical knowledge of driving a car but may not necessarily be able to drive it.

*Knock Knock*

"Eiji-sama, it's me."

The sound of a door knock interrupted Eiji's thought process.

"Come in."

"Excuse me."

The door slid aside, and Naomi entered the bedroom.

Her eyes widened seeing her Young Master floating in the air.

As a servant of the Gojo Family for several years, she knew things about Cursed Spirits, Jujutsu Sorcerers, and the like.

After being stunned for a moment, Naomi showed joy on her face.

"Congratulations, Eiji-sama. You've mastered the Limitless Technique."

"Um."

Eiji nodded, his body slowly landing on the floor. Then he manifested Blue behind the shelf, and the book in his hand was pulled back onto the shelf.

"Amazing. Eiji-sama. Your control is extraordinary." Naomi marveled.

Although she was an ordinary person without Cursed Energy, she had seen members of the Gojo Family practice the Limitless Technique. Except for Gojo Satoru, no one had such control when first learning the Limitless Technique.

"That's because I have good eyes." Eiji said without pride, then asked Naomi, "It's not dinner time yet, what brings you here?"

After calming down, Naomi conveyed her purpose.

"Eiji-sama, I'd like to bid farewell."

"Hm? Are you... Resigning?"

"Yes. Next month, I'll be getting married and become a housewife."

"I see. Congratulations on your marriage. I hope you live happily."

"Thank you, Eiji-sama. It's been an honor to serve you. Naomi hopes that one day you'll find your soulmate."

Naomi hugged Eiji for the last time. She wasn't sure if they would ever meet again in the future.

After taking care of Eiji since he was a baby, she had come to consider him as her own son.

(So, this is what sadness feels like, huh. I thought I couldn't feel emotions. Turns out, I was wrong; there just wasn't anything strong enough to trigger my emotions.) Eiji thought to himself.

He felt a tightness in his chest, even though he wasn't suffering from any illness, and there was discomfort after hearing Naomi's farewell.

Eiji always thought he suffered from alexithymia.

After a while, Naomi let go of Eiji, her eyes slightly moist from holding back the tears.

She didn't want to show her tears at this farewell moment.

"Thank you for everything so far, Eiji-sama. I'm grateful to have been your caregiver."

"Um, me too." Eiji nodded, still without any expression on his face.

Naomi was already accustomed to Eiji's difficulty in expressing his emotions. After that, she left the residence of the Gojo Family.

"Farewell, Naomi..." Eiji murmured softly, unconsciously shedding a tear from his eyelid.
