4 The Letter

Walking slowly towards the owl Jackson couldn't help but wonder if this was the owl with his letter to hogwarts. Looking closely at the envelope tied to its legs he recognized the green writing as that famous for being on the hogwarts letter.

Checking the envelope again to make sure he didn't miss anything he noticed the second parchment. It was folded a little smaller then the first making it hard to notice if you didn't know it was supposed to be there.

Seeing this I knew my brother probably got a letter to so I decided to go ahead and write our acceptance and requested for someone to take us shopping since our aunt and uncle wouldn't know where to go. Waiting on Harry to get back from the zoo was gonna be torture. We were finally going to be rid of all these annoying tasks that had to be done on time just to eat. At least we were always able to save each other some food in the oven since Aunt Petunia never bothered to check it before bed. Just imagining the feasts in the great hall had my mouth watering.

Hearing Uncle Vernon's car pulling up I quickly hide my letter and barely notice another lying on the back steps. Running to grab it I hide it as well before waiting patiently for Dudley to open the back door. All I hear is screaming though and it seems to be aimed at Harry. Thinking back on the book series in my world I wanted to slap myself for forgetting about the snake at the zoo. Knocking at the back door I finally see Aunt Petunia come to open the door.

"Go take care of Dudley he fell in a snake exhibit at the zoo. Make him some soup to warm him up maybe some cocoa I need to make sure your Uncle doesn't hurt Harry."

Nodding my head I run to the kitchen to start "helping" Dudley with a warm drink. If they think hurting my brother is ok then hurting their son should be equally ok right?
