Alex was surprised internally. After the volcanic lizard's mutation, it developed a layer of very solid armor. Previously, he could kill common-level lizards with a direct wind blade attack to their heads in one shot.

However, the Volcanic Lizard Elite was evidently much smarter, never giving Alex a chance to hit its vital spots with his wind blade.

After dodging Alex's wind blade, the Volcanic Lizard Elite glanced disdainfully at Alex before spitting out another fireball.

Alex could not underestimate the fireball from the Volcanic Lizard Elite. Hastily dodging the fireball spell, although he avoided the attack, the heat from the fireball still caused his hair to curl slightly.
