11 Interaction with the council themselves.

Having his business over, Ryo walked back to their room and cleaned his wound before he covers it with a sterile bandage. He plans to reveal whatever that three "students" were planning, and the first step would be for that is involving the council since they are the head that controls everything within the school. He sat on the chair with his headset on in the boy's room and looked at his phone.

A flickering red dot appeared within the green radar on his screen with a text on the top reading, "recording". Indeed, it is an application used to track someone or something and has a feature in which you can record the audio and the screen. Earlier, He placed a tracking device on his knees and he sneakily placed that on the girl's tracksuit as he struck her on the stomach.

Now, he stares at it as it moved from place to place, seemingly looking confused as if it has been lost in the woods.

"What are you doing, Ryo?" One of the approaching students asked. He ever-so quickly switched from the app to the browser.

"Nothing...just searching something..." He calmly replied as he flipped his phone around and showed him the screen.

"Nothing huh..." He mumbled as a suspicious glower appeared on his face.

"What seems to be the problem here?"

"No problem in particular. It's just that a few moments earlier, you were the only student from our classroom that was not in the room."

"Oh, about that...I was procrastinating..." He quickly thought of a valid and believable excuse.

"I see." Although he returned a distrustful face of what he said, he nevertheless turned around and walked away.

Ryo calms his self down and goes back to what he was doing. He swiped the tabs and returned to the app. The red dot stopped at one place. Based on its location, it's the forest.

Then, a voice spoke. A distorted, robotic male voice spoke.

"Is she talking to a robot of some kind?" He pondered to himself whilst carefully listening to the next statement.

"You...have you done it...??"

"Yes...I did...and If you may, would be so kind to let me go now?" The girl asked in a determined voice."

"Before that..."

---

From there, the connection was cut off. Not because something is blocking the waves, but because it was destroyed as if they knew someone was spying on their suspicious activities.

"It goes well with the black tracksuit...how exactly?"

He pressed the recording button off and turned off his phone. He removed the two headset plugs from his ears and put them in his pockets. He then went down the stairs in an attempt to find Kyouko, since he suspects that she is somehow involved with the council and therefore knows where and how to talk to them.

As he was going down the stairs, the door to their room opened and entering was Kyouko in her dress. He rushed up to her and immediately asked,

"Can I talk to you for a minute?" He asked with a light and somewhat determined voice.

"What's with this all of the sudden?"

"Just something important. Follow me outside."

"H-Ha!?"

He walks past Kyouko and left her dumbfounded. She thought for a moment.

"It isn't like him to have a hint of emotion in his voice, but now...something must be up."

She quickly followed Ryo outside the hotel, all gaze were on them as they left the room.

...

They arrived at the exact same spot Ryo had encountered the incident.

"What is this about?" Although she's quite worried herself, she questioned him with a cold glare and unfriendly voice.

"You...Kyouko Fujimoto...are part of the council...aren't you?"

She displays an unexpected reaction. A reaction as if she already knew that he was gonna say that.

"Fine. I have what I need. Let me introduce myself properly, Kyouko Fujimoto, currently the Eight member of the Kohinshitsu Council." She placed her hand on her chest and slightly raise her chin upwards at the same time she straightened her body up and slightly tilted it to the side.

"That was...much straightforward than I thought." He said...unsurprised.

"So, what is this all about?" She lowers her chin down and goes back to her normal posture.

"Do you know what an exousia stone is?"

"I've heard that it increases magic power in a certain weapon if embedded onto it."

"Indeed."

"Don't tell me..." She curled her eyebrows in a slight suspicion.

"Stupid. No one in their right mind would tell someone that they have a cheating tool, especially when the person they are talking to is a member of the upper echelons."

"You do have a point there. Anyway, what business do you have with that stone?"

"I want you to research something."

"Something?"

"Behind the edge of this wall, there were three people, one was holding an exousia stone in their hands."

"It may have been teachers researching, you know?"

"I doubt that a teacher here would actually hurt a student just because they were discovered. Moreover, I don't see a reason why a teacher would wear a mask if what they are doing is above suspicion."

"You were wounded?"

Ryo pats the area of his wound that was bandaged. Kyouko shifted her gaze towards it. She was quite shocked to say the least. Her eyes got more serious as she crossed her arms once more.

"I see. That would explain that bandage." She said,

"Do you have your phone with you?"

"I do. Why?"

"I planted a tracking device on one person. That should be enough right?"

"Sure." She took out her phone from the front pocket of her dress and hands it over to Ryo.

Ryo also took out his phone and opened the sharing app. After a few minutes of working with the phones, he returned it to Kyouko. Now, her phone has the data of the location, the audio and everything it contained.

"I see. Having an exousia stone without the permission and moreover, using violence, this is unacceptable. I shall do what I can do." She said in a purposeful voice.

"Another favor I want to ask."

"Don't get too carried away now,"

"I'm not. Anyway, what I want to say is that, if you ever plan to give that file to the other members and they ask where did you get it, never say my name."

"Why is that? You might benefit from that."

"I have my reasons. Now if you would..."

"You have my word. Just don't expect something too high." With that, she turned away and began making her way inside the hotel.

Ryo lets out a sigh as he stared at the sky. The once clear blue sky gradually turning reddish orange, blazing with bright colors as it gasps the beauty before the death of this day.

"It's only the first day and yet, a lot has happened." He murmured. Soon, he returned back to their room and called it a day.
