25 Two new teachers (3)

"--As for the two others, they will be new teachers from now on, present yourserlves please."

Many students expected the two youths to be a part of the academy, but for them to be teachers ? It was nonsense.

Most of the teachers were great magicians , if not the best in the kingdom apart from the Archmages and none of them were of a student's age, it would be ridiculous to tell everyone that two young strangers were already at their level. The reaction of the students was understandable, it was just like telling them their efforts were all for nothing, trampled by some unknown guys, but no one cut the Prince as everyone knew that it would be in vain. If the Royals acknowledge them, everyone would be forced to believe in them, they also never made any dumb choices thus, the students didn't raise any fuss.

"Nice to meet all of you. I am Reyn Kirae."

"And I am Xaros Kirae, his brother."

The first time they talked, every single person could already tell by their expression and tone that they were from a high-class. The tone of dignity was calm but contained a large amount of pride.

Reyn was getting used to being a noble, his face also helped him a little as he could keep his serious towards everything.

At their first talk, whispers could already be heard.

"Let us tell you all that we won't be real 'teachers' though. Think of us more like... assistants."

Relief sounded in the crowd, assistants is what they will be everyone sighed. It was in fact something really rare to be an assistants at this age, but it is still possible, every student understands that.

"Well, they won't do classes but they will both hold a higher rank than any teacher here, so treat them well." Yaren added.

""""WHAT !??"""" And the student's mouths dropped again.

"Excuse me, how old are you both, Teachers ?" A young man asked them, raising his hand.

It was possible that they were not human. An elf would live 400 years and a high elf 900 years while keeping their 20's look. It wasn't impossible for that fact to happen. Since they have a human's body, they couldn't be dwarves, it was still possible of them being Elementaries of a legendary level or simply vampires who could live to 1200 years, but Vampires were hunted in practically all kingdoms and elementaries of that level were some Kingdom's treasure because they were remainings of the Holy War, none were found in Rayshald or Yarusen Kingdoms. Many things could still cause their young age though.

"We're three tho-... Ah, um... Both eighteen." Xaros who was about to tell his real age was reminded by a light tap on the left shoulder by Reyn of their 'current' age. Though Reyn being really 18, a human couldn't possibly live during 3000 years, it was better for them to be of the same age and same family.

The students finally had their answer. Two youths of their age were designated as 'teachers' by royals, were even at a higher rank than them and were obviously in good graces with the majesties.

Students felt envy towards them, some disregarded them, many would obviously want to become their 'friends', some were feeling pride even though they were not them. Many reactions were shown while some couldn't help but to be suspicious of it.

"That was all there was to say. Everyone will be returning to class now.

Reyn, Xaros, come in our class for the first day, you'll do anything you want after that."

The prince didn't really expect Reyn and Xaros to completely work as teachers, in fact, he took them in because they would be a serious advantage in dangerous moments. He couldn't help but to feel the need to observe them as they were probably more powerful than the two archmages, each one of them.

Students were all talking about the two of them while leaving and Reyn could already see the rejoiced face of some people at the words 'my class', they are easily-to-say excited by those two newcomers.

Reyn had a difficult past to most people. He passed almost all of his years not going to school due to country changes, language differencies and because he was considered by many doctors and therapists as 'mentally wounded' by all his unlucky events.

He still passed more than 9 years in school which is not a lot. He now was going to 'work' in an Academy, {Life sure is unpredictable...} he thought.
