20 A Demon's idea (1)

"Well, I do wanna fight you three at once, we were wondering what to do."

The three adventurers angered at my words, all gritting their teeth.

The people passing through stopped and all started to look at the quarel.

It appears that in the Yarusen Kingdom, most people dislike nobles but they love the Royals, for that reason, it's unlike that someone will help.

And at last, a fight between men begun while Elizabeth watched quietly.

I wanted to fight, but since it would bring even more trouble if it lasts too long, I'll have to make it quick.

The three 'bandits' are composed of 1 mage and 2 warriors, both of them fighting with swords as the mage had a wooden staff.

They aren't beginners, but for Elizabeth and I, it resembles children swinging wooden swords around pretending to kill monsters, it's really boring to be too strong...

The mage shot a fire ball at me, by first sight, it would either be a light spell or a medium one.

I don't know why, but it seems a lot of people are born with the Fire element, and most of mages having more elements than 1 use the Fire one only for attacks. I wonder why ?

I cut his spell head on with Elizabeth's katana hidden under her cape and I cast dark chains to restrain him, leaving the man totally confused as his magic was being slowly drained.

The two warriors charged me, both at the same time.

I passed behind their leader's friend and pushed him on the ground where Elizabeth was as she put her right boot on his back.

The leader was handled easily, I just had to deflect his sword, kick his left leg and put the tip of my katana on his neck while he was on his knees.

"Sorry for being late ! We heard a fight started he-...?"

2 Guys and 2 women having orichalcum plates on their neck crossed the street and came here, probably to stop the fight.

But what they saw was a one sided beating already finished.

Nor me nor Elizabeth had any bruises, the mage collapsed for magic exhaustion, a guy was on the ground with Elizabeth's right foot on top of his back and I had my katana nearly cutting through a neck.

If a bystander passed by, we would definetly be the bandits here.

"Ah-Uh... We were sent to help with adventurers causing troubles but I guess we arrived too late ?"

"Well, keep your dogs under chains, they're even harassing nobles." Elizabeth said in a cold voice.

"Excuse us, it is our duty as high ranks adventurers to prevent that normally. We will take them to the guild, I hope you can have a great day besides that little 'incident'."

The 4 adventurers took all 3 men and went back from where they came.

Two weeks passed. For two weeks, not even a single interesting thing happened besides those bandits.

For two weeks, we discovered the city with Elizabeth. It seems to be a little bigger than Alusia but the entertainment here was almost the same.

Though, their mage's academy was a little different.

They apparently mixed the Knight's Academy with the Mage's and while some students are 13 or 14 in Alusia, most of them are 18, my age, or the second princess of Rayshald's age which would be either 16 or 17.

We obviously rented a room in the most famous inn here and we already visited every shop we found.

Though, this time, I didn't have to encounter any of the Royals but I think I will participate in the Prince's birthday tournament held today.

It is said that there will be both the prince and the princess and obviously, the king.

The tournament will be held in a wide stadium with the ground made of stone, the size will almost be the one of a football's one on Earth.

A hundred participants will take part in this and all fight at once.

The four remaining will apparently fight on 1v1 while the two winner wil then face against each other.

When one wins, sometimes the Royals will give them fame and gold but I'm going there truly just to fight and amuse myself.

Well, actually...
