12 Betrayal

Walking around the camp I felt angered pissed off even I felt like shooting everything thing but held myself back no need to lose my cool. I would be the only one losing out if did they have probably gone to get the fourth part of the key but... The pieces looked to be made in thirds so why the hell would you need a fourth piece... Unless.
Making my way to Tanis' camp I lifted the barrel of my shotgun and entered her room too see her exhausted and tired she seemed to have gone through a panic attack. Still keeping my gun up I pointed it to her head.
"There never was a fourth piece to the key was there," I sighed before putting my gun down. I was bamboozled.
"Thank you for your service Tannis thanks to you we will successfully open the vault and its all thanks to you. The atlas cooperations are very thankful for your cooperation we will soon assign you as our leading researcher after we find out what's done," A voice came out from the Echo device.
Approaching it I rewired it to show me the location of the transmitter. Pretty trashy technology if you ask me. It must make sense why ambushes and banditry are frequent when you can find out where everyone is.

Sneaking over I saw a ledge I saw a legion of Atlas soldiers quite fitting of the supposed crimson lance the files on them were quite inducing. It was also said that to beat one's enemy is to not only improve oneself but to know your enemy or something I never early paid attention to quotes and things in class.
"What do you think is in the vault," A Crimson Lancer asked his comrade as he patrolled around the area.
"I don't know but I think its Erdian technology might be good," The other responded.
"Well, I hope its some sort of treasure I've been wanting a higher pay grade all these promises are starting to tire me," He smirked.
"Man I hate this planet you know? Bandits and all that trash are here," He stated looking at the dead Bullymong littered around the premises rotting.
"Things are packed to-," The soldier choked before saluting to a weird lady with strange tattoos wrapped around her arm the same as that one flame chick.
"Has everything prepared? I want all men to be aiming toward that portal when we open it. I don't want any mistakes. We got one and only one chance to open that damned thing," The female commander shouted as she walked over with the key and just like I said it was in thirds.
"Hurry up knowing the vault hunters they should be coming around with that thing of a demon tagging along." She shouted. How rude of her I wasn't a thing or were they talking about Mordecai's bird? Who knows who cares what's important is what whats in front of me.

All the Atlas soldier looked at the figure behind them seeing a man with a pair of shades donning a shotgun and a mad grin.
"So... Fellas ready for a party?" The figure snickered before blitzing into the legion of Crimson Lancers.
Seeing all the figure behind him they all proceeded to turn around and gun him down but what was expected to be an annihilation for the shaded figure was instead a massacre for the Crimson lancers.
Running through Kav jumped and ducked through the bullets. One just grazing his cheek before sending a shot back to the figure dropping his shotgun to the ground switching to his pistol before picking up the shotgun again midair and using the shotgun to blast his way through the barrage of soldiers.
"Damn useless plebs I'll just open it now," She shouted slamming the vault key into the hey hole and brightening up the portal. Smiling she started to hysterically laugh.
Hearing her laugh Kav could only snicker himself before snapping the last figures head. Not wasting time he pulled out his sniper and shot her directly in the head finishing her for good.
"They say time is money and well they aren't wrong," Kav snickered as he started to loot the bodies before a large tentacle monster ripped through the portal. Its tentacles wrapping the female siren's body and devouring it completely.
Having its sight on Kav it mentally shuddered as the figure behind him scared the living daylight out of it. What it saw behind him was almost shocking. Kav seeing the paused monster scratched his head before feeling his eyes burn. Waking up he saw himself floating around before looking at a figure.
The figure though shined with golden light staring at the figure with its devilish smile. Staring at the large figure Kav could only smile back. Returning back to reality Kav opened his palms before blaming them together causing massive explosions behind him. Coming out two portal primed with light looking in only a godly brilliance could seen through before large hands clawed out chains rattling as two arms now opened through the portal.
Although one would usually laugh at sight the portal then next to each other gripped the air before ripping a large portal slipping the fabric of reality and releasing the forbidden One. Its name lost in time. The emperor whose name once spread chaos throughout the universe Exodia his smile bribing with confidence and rage.
The Destroyer could only shudder as Exodias torso extruded out of the ripped portal its smile painted on its face as it stared fiercely at the destroyer. The destroyer shocked could only fire back only for it to be absorbed by Exodia its eyes fiercely glowing red before clasping its hand and firing a large beam of pure energy directly at the destroyer exploding it into pieces as its eye obliterated into nothing yet its body was shredded around the area.
"Holy shit," Mordecai shuddered as he stared at the back of Kav as sinister smile went over Kav's face.
"Holy shit indeed," Lilith agreed as she got up the large shockwave of the blast knocked her to ground with Roland and Mordecai only Brick being the one on his knees as he frowned looking at Kav who seemed mad with power.

"Hey, Angel did you like the view?" He laughed as he stared at the fresh corpse of the destroyer.
"My connection to you faintly cut off when you did whatever you did but I think its time we met," She muttered.
"About time. Look darling if you're going to be my pride in arms your gonna have to be their with me at all time," I flirted.
