9 A Demons Trance

Kav hearing the incoming enemies ripped the dangling light leaving the whole room in darkness. Sledge entering the room with his goons was greeted to a crimson light that bleed through the pitch-black room. Feeling intimidated he stopped moving his heartbeat increased as if on a tight rope.

Such a strand was just like his life at the moment. He felt as if a sudden move would get himself killed. Cold sweat trickled down his back. It was the first time in his life he felt threatened by something other than himself.

He felt as if he was staring at a demon. Knocking himself out of being intimated he raised his shotgun only to see that one of the crimson eyes disappeared. Feeling coming danger he dodged to the right just to hear a large bang and a large body flopping on the floor.

"Sledge will…," Sledge unable to breath fell onto the floor unconscious the remaining person still terrified was Bonehead he seemed to cower in the corner pointing his smg around the room frantically he had forgotten to grab an extra clip figuring that this little scuffle would be an easy one.

Bonehead feeling anxiety creeping on him was finally put out if his misery. Permanently.

"It is quite amazing what fear can do to a person don't you think Tannis," Kav smiled as the sparks flickered around the room allowing Tannis to see the horror that became Sledge and his subordinates Such a sight would haunt her.

How could a single have all that power she though to not only take down one of the most powerful bandits in the area in mere seconds was such feat only a select few could accomplish Kav now being one of them.

"Don't worry I know I'm amazing," Kav joked Before putting his shades back on his devilish grin and handsome face really complemented his demonic like presence.

Tannis though wasn't the type to fond over men her view of love just that of a chemical reaction which she promptly removed turning her asexual.

"Look what you've done you mongrel now that he's dead we can't find one of the pieces of the key," she spat.

Smiling Kev kicked Sledges head as if it was soccer Ball prompting him to wake up. "Speak. Where is that purple thing if you don't tell me I'm going to shoot your Motherf*cking knee caps I'm going to count to three if don't reply I'm to shoot your d*ck" Kav spat as he pulled out his pistol and aimed it at Sledges knee cap.

"Sledge will not-"

"Three"

"Go f*c-"

"Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Ah! Sledge ah!"

"I'm running out of patience if you don't start talking your nickname won't be sledge but the no D*ck cripple," Kev said before poking his pistol next to sledges other knee. Sledge in pain struggled to answer thinking of the purple thing he started to talk before a great pain invaded his head. Kev seeing Sledge in pain looked like scientist t looking at his test subject toying with his subject. A predator finally entrapping his prey.

"Sledge know it-"

Kev smiling discovered something with his powers. He had decided if he could invade someone's mind without using his eyes. His test was successful the other person had to be either in mental peril or unconscious.

Though sorting through the memories was the most challenging thing so as to save time he gave them the subject and then snatched the memories of it as to not get unpleasant memories or tendencies which could otherwise not be him such as Sledges tendencies to always speak like an idiot.

"Why did you. Why kill him! He was about to give us the location of the second vault key your brain must be the size of pea-," Tannis choked before stopping herself from continuing this man was the same person who took those three people with three bullets such a man was not to be reckoned with.

Gulping down Tannis sat down and stared at the wall she grew scared of what Kev would do her if she continued her Rambling.

"Don't bother worrying I have already found out the location of the second vault key it's inside his base under his bed I already interrogated his minions from before I just wanted to make sure that sledge was dead someone wanted me to at least torture him before he died," Kev lied not even patting eyes as if lies flowed out of his mouth like air.

"Now let's go," Kev replied before stashing the rest of the guns that Sledges men dropped.

An SMG and shotgun my luck Markus is sure going to love seeing me today. Motioning Tannis to follow they snuck out of the dahl facility and into the Car which still parked outside.

"Okay, tannis hop in we're travelling to Fyrestone hop in." I smiled before putting the rest of my weapons at the back I was surprised one stole the other weapons at the back or stole the vehicle seems the desert still screeched with emptiness and silence.

Driving I received a weird distress signal coming from my echo device. Nearly dismissing it I decided to save the frequency for later who knew I might find something interesting.

One trouble down two to go let's see what those four mongrels are up too must regret trying to f*ck with me. The Sledge guy didn't put up much of a fight. How laughable.

Making our way to Fyrestone we were greeted to the four dimwits of pandora. I pity their brain cells.

"So if it isn't the four musketeers what bring the foolish to the wise?" I snickered as I played back in my car I obviously knew what they wanted but hearing an apology come from their mouths would only serve to boost my ego... So I waited.
