2 The boy next door

After getting a shower, I got dressed up to impress my neighbours , specially the handsome boy which mom keeps talking about like she wants to marry me off him and I came down as my mom called me and we all went out.

The neighbour's house was just like ours but the garden was quite larger and was so beautiful. We knocked on the door as the bell was broken and seconds later Mrs.Andrews opened the door welcoming us. I'm not really sure whether it's Mrs.Andrews or her daughter cause I haven't seen her before but she looks too old to be called as the daughter and my mom never mentioned about a daughter so I think she is Mrs. Andrews. Not much old though! She has a brown hair which is short and her eyes are so beautiful and her teeth was strangely dazzling which I noticed when she opened her mouth to say "come inside please". I could say that she's a very pretty , kind , sweet person.

As we walked inside Mrs. Andrews asked us to sit while she grabs a chair . After we all sat Mr. Andrews and their son came out and sat in-front of us. And my dad got up and shook hands with him saying " nice to meet you Mr. Andrews, thank you for inviting us today". Then they started to talk while I was noticing their son.

Holy moly! He's is exactly like his mother. The same brown hair and the same beautiful eyes. And he's tall ,well built and fair which I can say that he's super cute but he isn't really my type. Later I noticed that he's looking at me cuz I think he sensed that I was admiring his body parts so I stopped and came back to the conversation as Mr. Andrews questioned me.

"Ready for your big day tomorrow"

"yeah kind of" I replied and he smiled.

"This is my son" he said wrapping an arm around his shoulder . I nodded .

" he's going to be your classmate and I hope you guys are gonna do an amazing job this senior year."

" thank you for reminding me that this is my senior year" I thought and I replied " yeah sure".

And both of our mom's went to the kitchen and my dad and Mr. Andrews got up and asked us " Are you guys coming with us?"

And I replied " no me and Hannah gonna stay here".

No reply from the neighbour dude cuz he was on his phone, might be texting his girlfriend. So they went and he looked up. "neighbour dude? Why? Oh I don't know his name yet, Isn't he gonna tell his name?" I thought.

A deep male voice asked me " what's your name?"

I looked .

up and realised that he was talking to me so I replied .

" it's Hazel.. Hazel Grace."

" oh great I'm Josh Andrews" he said.

His name is cool and obviously he is super cool. Then he looked at my sister who's 13 years old ( sorry I didn't mention that before ) and asked " what about you sweetie?" "I'm Hannah Grace"she said. " lovely name" he said.

" what?? Did he just say my sister's name is lovely? What about my name? Hazel isn't a bad name?" I thought and it faded while my mom asked us to come for dinner.

We all sat down at the table and prayed before eating. Josh sat in front of me as I can easily admire his beauty throughout the dinner which I really like do.

" you have two beautiful daughters, I really love to have girls but unfortunately I'm stuck with this brat" Mrs. Andrew told my mother with a smile.

Well Hannah is beautiful but I'm not , no one has ever told me that before expect aunties and uncles . I mean no boy has ever told me that I'm beautiful and I never really had a boyfriend. I had two three crushes but they had girlfriends. I'm meant to be single!!!

We all finished eating and me and my mom helped Mrs . Andrews to wash the dishes while Mr.Andrews, my dad, Josh and Hannah was watching the Tv. After that they all walked us towards the door.

"we really had a nice time today. Again thank you so much for inviting us" my dad said.

" oh it's was a pleasure to have you guys here" Mr. Andrews replied.

" ok then see you all later, bye goodnight."said mom and they all said goodnight.

"see ya tomorrow at school, good night" Josh said to me.

" yah you too, goodnight" I said and we all said bye to each other and went home.

As we were entering our house my mom said " Such a nice family, I'm grateful that they are our neighbours" and my dad nodded. I climbed to my room and went to the bathroom for a quick shower and I put on my pjs and started to my think about my first day at school tomorrow while laying on the bed. And I slept.
