The school trip part 2
Shin's POV
Since Mr.Stephan left us in the middle of Sapporo we decided to explore before we joined the others at the beach. It is now around 2.pm and I don't mind hitting the beach in the late afternoon.
"So what are the main attractions of sapporo?" Shishiro asked.
"According to the most trusted companion of humanity (Internet) the places that are a must visit in Sapporo includes odori park, TV tower, clock tower, and the shrine" Makoto said with the internet's assistance.
"I-I want to see it all," Mio said.
"Me too. Not everyday you get to visit Sapporo when you are busy with school so let's make the most of our time" I said and they nodded.
"So where should we go first? My camera is dying to snap pictures" Shishiro said while holding her camera.
"Well since we have been on the road for a long time let's rest up in odori park first plus it's near the TV tower so why not?" I suggested.
"A-agreed" Mio replied "Yeah i need some time to sit down" Makoto.
"Odori park we go!" Shishiro said running off.
A few seconds after that she's back "Where is odori park again?" She said scratching her head and we all facepalmed ourselves.
After we received guidance from humanity's companion (Internet) for directions we arrived at odori park.
"Woaah how far does the park goes?" Mio asked with an amazed expression.
"Apparently the park goes about 12 chome (Block) from east to west" Shishiro said "This is also the place where they held the famous Yuki Matsuri (Snow festival) take a look of this" Makoto showed us a picture of past festival.
Every winter they would make a large amount of unique and pretty ice sculptures that attracts hundreds or thousands of people to visit.
"Aww to bad that it's summer right now" Mio said.
"Don't be down Mio, we can always visit some other time," Makoto said, trying to cheer her up.
"I have an idea since winter is near, why don't we come back here together on winter break?"
"We don't have school until the end of the year anyway we have all the time for ourselves" I said.
Mio nodded with a smile on her face "It's a plan then hahaha" Makoto laughed.
After that we decided to sit on one of the benches at the park.
Mio is busy reading books, Makoto is browsing info about sapporo, and Shishiro is taking pictures of us and the surroundings.
After a few minutes suddenly *Grumbles*
"Ah! Sorry haha, I guess I'm hungry" Makoto said, holding her stomach.
"I think I could use some snacks," Shishiro said, "Me too," Mio said in a small voice.
"Hey look there is an ice cream truck over there" I said pointing at the ice cream truck across the street.
The girls looked at their wallet with sad expressions and then turned towards me with puppy eyes.
"Sigh" And with that the inside of my wallet are filled with nothing but air and sadness.
"Thanks Shin you're the best" Makoto said while eating her or should i say my ice cream with no shame whatsoever.
"This ice cream is soooo delicious" Shishiro said.
"U-umm" Mio pulled my sleeve "Hmm?" I looked towards her.
"A-aaahn~" Mio said while offering her ice cream.
"So cute~" I thought to myself and without a second thought I took a bite off her ice cream.
"H-how is it?" She asked "It's good thanks Mio '' I said while giving her a head pat.
She blushed and continued to enjoy her ice cream.
After they finished we decided to pay the TV tower a visit.
"Woah okay now this is cool" I said while looking at the tall tower.
"The tower were built back in 1957 it's pretty old isn't it?" Mio said with an interested look.
"What are we waiting for? Let's go in!" Shishiro said while grabbing our hands and dragging us towards the tower like a little kid.
We made our way inside "Woah it looks even cooler on the inside" I said while looking around.
"Apparently the restaurants and other types of shops are on the 2nd and 3rd floor" Makoto said while looking at a pamphlet.
"So it's like some sort of mall?" Mio asked "Yeah you can say that" Makoto replied.
As we are talking Shishiro is busy taking pictures of the surroundings.
"Hehe Shishi you can get better pictures from the observation deck at the 4th floor ya know" Makoto said immediately catching Shishiro's attention.
The moment Shishiro heard that she immediately dragged Makoto towards the 4th floor while me and Mio casually followed from behind.
In order to go to the observation deck you need to pay for a ticket in order to proceed. Luckily it's not that expensive and Shishiro paid for all of us.
"Woaaah look at those views you can almost see all of sapporo from here" Makoto said exaggerating but the view is definitely something else.
Shishiro wasted no time and immediately snapped a whole bunch of pictures "You know? I think the night time view here would be amazing" She said.
"I could see it already" Makoto said.
We took our time at the tower, grabbed a few snacks and then left.
"So? Where to next?" Shishiro asked, still in high spirits.
"Let's see, let's see, I think this would be our last one. After this we should head to the beach, So let's go to the clock tower first and when we get back from the trip we can stop by the shrine" Makoto said.
"Sounds fine to me" I replied.
We decided to go to the iconic clock tower.
The majestic structure looks plain but it has that grand feeling about it.
"Hmm for a clock tower it's not too tall isn't it?" I said.
"Yeah it looks like a normal building from the outside. Besides it's history, what's the charm of this clock tower in Makoto?" Shishiro asked.
"It says here on the inside there is an exhibition room" She replied.
"I-I want to see!" Mio said excitedly.
We paid or rather Shishiro paid for our entrance fee and took a stroll inside.
Apart from the plain look from the outside, the inside looks like a grand museum.
There are many historical items put on display for visitors to look at.
We spent some time looking around and after we were satisfied we decided to leave.
"Fwaah that was so much fun" Shishiro said while stretching her arms up in the air.
"Uhuh we learned a lot too i might come here on my own next time i decided to travel" Makoto said.
*Ring Ring Ring*
"Oh it's my father" Shishiro answered the call from her father "Hello? What is it father? Ah don't worry we are on our way there now. Uhuh, yeah, okay then bye bye" She hung up.
"Well okay to the beach it is"
