20 Chapter 19

First pov

The three boys timidly came out from behind the wall, Denki was grinning at me, Shouto had his usual expression and Izuku was clinging to Shouto's arm with an expression of….. Relief?

He looked relieved? That's weird I wonder why...

"YOOOOOO, THAT WAS AWESOME!!" Dang, that kid is loud, they could probably hear him in the teacher's lounge.

"Thanks," I grinned back, It really wasn't all that cool, I've gotten out of worse situations. I walked over, grabbing my bag and we started heading to the dorms.

"I'm glad you're ok, I was scared you were going to get hurt because you aren't allowed to fight back," Izuku says, surprising me, I looked down confused to see that he's still clinging to Shouto who doesn't seem to mind too much.

"You were worried? Why?" I frowned, genuinely interested.

"Because you're my friend and even if you can handle yourself, you still could have gotten injured," he says eyes full of innocence and wonder. Wow, I've never had anyone care for me like that.

"Yeah, you're our friend!" Denki said with much excitement. Shouto just nodded.

I looked at them shocked, no one had really called me their friend before. This is different though it's a good different. Like a burst of serotonin suddenly ran through my head. I smiled slightly, "Thanks for calling me your friend."

"Well, you are one so why wouldn't we!" Denki said with a bright smile. Geez, even the sun was blinded.

"We like to call you our friend, hopefully, that is alright with you," Shoto said calmly looking at me.

I looked at the three of them, carefully analyzing their faces for any traces of a lie, but I found none. They were being genuine, "I like it, being called your friend."

Denki ran over and slung his arm over my shoulders, pulling me down slightly, "Great! Now, let's patch up that bruise and go to my room to play some more video games. I got a bunch of snacks too!"

I laughed and nodded, I like this. Having friends.

*time skip to the next day*

For some reason, Aizy called everyone to the field. We were all in our gym clothes, so maybe a physical activity? Maybe, battles or something else?

We all lined up, of course, everyone except Denki, Shouto, and Izuku, backed away and kept giving me glares and glances. It's not like I'm gonna hurt them or anything, if I were, that'd just make my situation worse. I sighed and slouched slightly. I felt a small yet strong hand grip my shoulder. I looked over and saw Izuku giving me a reassuring smile. He must've noticed their behavior as well.

I nodded, signaling I was alright. He nodded back and let go of my shoulder.

Aizy walked out in his hero get up and a piece of paper on a clipboard, "After your results of the sports festival I wanted you all to get more experience in one on one battles. So, today you will be doing battles, and each pair is based on your quirks and abilities. The groups are as follows:

Shoji vs. Sato

Ojiro vs. Sero

Asui vs. Ashido

Yaoyorozu vs. Jiro

Iida vs. Kirishima

Tokoyami vs. Denki

Koda vs. Shinsou

Aoyama vs. Hagakure

Todoroki vs. Midoriya

Bakugou and Uraraka vs. Kurosaki

And all battles will proceed in that order."

Wait….WHAT!?

"I don't mean to be rude Mr.Aizawa, but Ale- Kurosaki's battle would be two against one, and me and Todoroki had already fought before at the sports festival, wouldn't those two be redundant?"

Aizy looked at the broccoli boy, "Yes, you and Todoroki had already fought, but in terms of power, technique, and style, you two are the best candidates to fight each other. As for Kurosaki's match, since we have an uneven amount of students and because of yesterday's incident, I decided to pair those three together. We will be heading to the stadium for this activity since it is the best place for all out battles like these, though please don't go overboard, we don't need a recreation of the last sports festival," he looked at Izuku. I remember watching the sports festival on air. He got messed up by Shouto!

"Midnight, Cememtos, and Exoplasm will meet us there to make sure everything goes accordingly. The goal of the battles are the same as the festivals and as such, the same rules apply."

We all went on our way and I was so excited! An all-out battle and against the pomeranian and pink cheeks who have been after my throat since I've been here! It's too good to be true!

We met up with the other three heroes and we sat on the sidelines as the first pair walked onto the arena floor.

Midnight cracked her whip, "START!"

The rounds went like so:

Shoji vs. Sato: SHOJI WINS

Sato eventually ran out of sugar to supply his strength and was knocked out of the ring.

Ojiro vs. Sero: SERO WINS

They both put up a great fight against each other I must say, though eventually when Ojiro's movements started to slow, Sero captured him in his tape making him immobile.

Asui vs. Ashido: ASHIDO WINS

Amazing strategies from both sides. Ashido kept her distance from Asui and kept firing acid from her palms and used some on her feet for added mobility. Asui kept dodging and was trying to hit Ashido with her tongue, but in the end, Ashido won.

Yaoyorozu vs. Jiro: YAOYOROZU WINS

Their match was kinda boring, not gonna lie. Jiro's quirk is more made for surprise attacks or stealth. It's very limited in actual fights so she was forced into combat with Yaoyorozu who had a metal staff in hand. Eventually, Jiro was pushed out of the ring.

Iida vs. Kirishima: KIRISHIMA WINS

Speed and skill versus stamina and strong defense. Their match was also kinda boring. Kirishima won when it came to stamina so when Iida got tired out, he pushed him out of the ring. Probably to not hurt him too badly.

Koda vs. Shinsou: SHINSOU WINS

Their match was honestly hilarious. Aizy's secret love child got swarmed by birds and watching him try to use his quirk on Koda didn't go well considering that kid never talks. Though he seemed proficient in fighting, once he got past the birds, he easily overwhelmed Koda and got him out of the ring. Though, his style was similar to a familiar insomniac. Aizy is probably training him.

Aoyama vs. Hagakure: HAGAKURE WINS

Another boring match, Aoyama got a stomach ache early into the match which left him open to attacks from the invisible girl. All she did was dodge his lazers until he stopped.

Tokoyami vs. Denki: TOKOYAMI WINS

This one I was excited for. Tokoyami's quirk can't handle light so Denki's quirk seemed to naturally use that weakness, but Denki runs out of gas way faster than Tokoyami. In the end, this will probably be a battle of stamina. After a couple of minutes I was right, Denki went into his stupid mode and dark shadow shoved him out of the ring. Or well more like threw.

Todoroki vs. Midoriya: TODOROKI WINS

This match was another I was excited for. Shouto's fire and ice going against Izuku's speed and strength! I saw what happened at the sports festival on my TV and these two were wild!

The match was intense and turned out to be another stamina thing. Shouto immediately threw up an ice shell around him, at the same instant Izuku powered up his quirk and ran straight for him. Izuku punched through the wall but Shouto had already run around it and behind him, hitting him in the back with a block of ice. Izuku hit the ground hard but got back up after a second, turning to face Shouto who created another ice shell. It went like this for a few minutes until I realized what Shouto was doing, he was slowly moving himself and Izuku to the edge of the ring so Izuku would fly out, and he had almost done it too but Izuku had realized what he was doing and stopped himself from falling out by grabbing onto the ice several times. I wasn't sure what else Izuku could do, if he waited to form a strategy Shouto would hit him with another ice block but if he continued he would definitely either fall out of the ring or get knocked out by those blocks. He hadn't even gotten one hit on Shouto yet. I think Izuku saw this too because the next time he rushed for the shield he tried to jump on top instead of breaking through but he miss judged how slippery the ice was and in a desperate attempt to stay in the match he fell backward and Shouto used this opportunity to hit him with a block so hard he flew right out of the circle. That had to hurt.

Bakugou and Uraraka vs. Kurosaki: ...

I was standing just outside the ring, looking at my opponents on the other side. Aizy came up to me and took off the bracelet, "Hey, Aizy can I go all out in this fight please!"

He looked at me as he tucked the bracelet into his pocket, "You aren't allowed to kill them."

I rolled my eyes, "I mean use my other quirk dumbass."

He glared and thought for a moment before reluctantly agreeing, "...Fine, but if you go too far," he pulled out the remote, "you know what happens."

I smiled and jumped around happily. This is gonna be so much fun!

The three of us got to our places in the arena. Uraraka looked like she was in a running stance while Bakagou was more relaxed, but he still looked angry as heck.

I grinned evilly as I slowly absorbed his anger, can't take too much or he'll notice something. Midnight yelled start, cracking her whip. To my surprise, the two didn't move from their spots. I kind of expected that from round-face but not the pomeranian.

I laughed, now this is where they officially messed up.

"WHAT ARE YOU LAUGHING AT!?" the blonde angrily shouted.

"Oh, nothing just that you failed the vibe check," I said while smiling innocently.

The blonde yelled angrily and charged. He pulled his right arm back to punch me but seemed surprised when no explosions happened.

"Gotcha," I thought. I kicked him in his right side making him pull back while Uraraka came to his aid.

"WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!?"

"Congratulations, you have invented a new kind of stupid, a "damage you can never undo" kind of stupid, an "open all the cages in the zoo" kind of stupid, truly you didn't think this through? Kind of stupid," I chuckled as I walked closer and closer to them. Shock and anger written on the blonde's face while fear coated the girl's.

"You chose to make an enemy out of me, you chose to try to ruin me, so this is the consequences of those actions," I absorbed the remaining anger in the blonde, which was a lot, and kicked the ground at an angle, forcing the ground to rise up from the force. As the floor violently rose into the air, it took the two with it. Effectively flying them out of the ring.

I looked at them once again, "Personally I don't like to hurt people who haven't done any crimes and in general don't wish to hurt you two. Merely, teach you a lesson. I suggest we try to get along or pretend neither exists."

"You may be a student here now but-" round cheeks started.

"BUT THERE'S NO WAY IN HELL ARE WE GONNA BE FRIENDS!" the explosive blonde cut in.

I shrugged and turned around waving, "Alright, ignoring it is. Have a good rest of your day!"

I walked out of the arena, got my bracelet back from Aizy, and met up with the rest of the class. (a/n: this chapter is a bit long buuuuuttttt it was worth it) (a/n: Love it when we just make the chapters last forever lolz)
