12 Chapter 11

First pov

"What is it?"

"Well, it's pretty simple actually, I have two quirks." I let this sink in before continuing.

"The quirk I was born with is called "Vibecheck", basically I can evaluate if a person's "vibe" or intentions are good or bad, if they are good, meaning they aren't malicious or evil then I yell "You have passed the vibe check." and their quirk is enhanced along with slight stamina enhancement. If their intentions are bad then I yell "You have failed the vibe check" this takes away their quirk unless I deactivate it, if they are a mutant type they get sluggish and dizzy. I can also use it to interrogate people if their vibe is good, they are telling the truth, if it is bad then they are lying." I smiled at them as they processed this.

"I was able to take your quirks away yesterday because you had bad intentions toward me, even if overall your intentions were good, my personal health and wellbeing takes priority, so if you mean any harm or bare any ill will towards me then I can temporarily remove your quirks."

Nezu was the first to react, he turned to Tsukauchi and asked, "Are they telling the truth?"

Still slightly stunned, the detective nodded without saying anything.

The skeleton man finally spoke, his voice was quiet and rough. "But that's impossible, we have never seen anyone with two independent quirks."

"Hold on, did you say "the quirk I was born with" does that mean you weren't born with the other one?" The yellow cockatoo piped up.

"Wow, that took less time than I expected, yes my dear cockatoo, I did say that."

Mic bristled at the nickname, Midnight just laughed.

"Okay but why is that important?" asked the detective.

"Because it implies that they weren't born with the other one," Aizy says into the silence.

"Good job, Aizy, I knew all those stories about you being dumb couldn't be true." I smiled up at him cheekily.

"Shut up, "crying star" explain to us how you got your quirk."

"Hhm, Nah I'm good. Don't really feel like it."

"Fine, don't explain it then, but tell me, how come neither of your quirks are on any records?" Aizy grumbled.

"I'm gonna have to pass on that as well." I grinned, maybe they'll leave me alone now, I need to find a way out of this room.

"It seems we have gotten all the information we could for today, how about we head to our dear guests home and find that evidence!" Ratzilla said cheerfully, breaking the tension in the room.

Aizawa harrumphed, and I grinned at him. Great, an opportunity to stretch my legs, this was gonna be fun. Nezu opened the door and called one of the guards to uncuff me from the bed, the muscled guard walked in and unlocked my cuff, relocking it around his wrist. Shit, he's too big for me to swing around, maybe if I could use Emotion, I could poke him and get some strength from the annoyance, it's not as good as anger but it works in a pinch. Ugh, but I can't do shit with this cuff on me! Whatever I might as well go along with them, it doesn't matter much now that the bastard is dead, but if it makes them feel better about it. We head out of the room and up some stairs, five flights? Wow, they are really worried about keeping me locked up. I'm guessing that my door is guarded so escaping will be difficult, not impossible, but difficult.

*time skip*

Our party of eight was heading down the street to my hideout, wow I never noticed how dirty my house is, as we headed inside, the rat hiding in Aizy's scarf turned to me and said, "So dear fellow, where is this evidence exactly?"

"First, follow me to the back of the building and we'll go from there."

Our group walked around the building, stopping when we got to the back. The back of the building was no different from the front, an old worn brick wall with torn posters on it and trash scattered everywhere.

"I don't get it," Mic said, "where's the evidence." I smiled, knowing they would all be amazed by what I was about to show them.

"In order to do this I'm gonna need both hands," I said tugging on the cuff, "Don't worry I'm not going to run, and Aizy can hold my torso with his scarf so I'm still restrained."

They all looked skeptically at me, "What? I know when I've lost a game and when to hold up my end of the deal. I may have killed people, but it doesn't mean I don't keep my promises."

Aizy tied his scarf tightly around my waist as my "escort" uncuffed me. I chuckled, "Kinky~"

He grumbled, "This was your idea now just show us already."

I felt around the wall for a second before I pressed a series of 12 bricks, each one sinking back into the wall. Once I pressed the last brick, a few clicks could be heard as the bricks popped back into place at the same time and an entire section of the wall sunk back and was pulled to the left revealing a surprisingly modern room.

The room had hardwood floors and red brick walls like the ones on the outside, however, these bricks were taken care of. They were clean and held no cracks. Lights hung from the ceiling shining brightly. The room also seemed to be divided in half. On the left had a large metal desk with papers, diagrams, beakers, various plants, and test tubes full of liquid. On the right side was another metal desk with an older model computer sitting on it with a journal and pencil sitting next to it. To the left of the desk was a large bookshelf with files, tapes, CDs, and journals all stacked and organized neatly. To the right of the desk, was a black painted metal display case lined with throwing knives and daggers.

"Ta-da! To your left, you have my lab/building station and to your right, you have the place that I research, record, and store my records," I turned to the others who had shock written all over their faces. Even, Aizy did. "If you would be so kind to follow me over to the bookshelf and I can grab you all the evidence you need."

Nezu nodded and I walked over to the shelf dragging Aizy with me. I crouched down to the lowest level I began looking. Soon, I saw a small bin labeled "Flaming Bastard" and I quickly pulled it out from the shelf and placed it on the desk. I had been following, observing, and researching Endeavor for years. Inside of the bin were four notebooks, two were for keeping track of his schedule the past two years, another was quirk analysis/physical analysis, and the last one was for his personal life. Each labeled with their respected topics. Lined up next to the books was about 20 CDs holding camera footage and over 30 hard drives filled with audio.

Once, I set it down, I turned back to everyone and said with a bow, "Enjoy."

They crowded around the bin pulling out the journals and flipping through them. They all had mixed expressions of surprise, shock, anger, and sadness.

After waiting around for about fifteen minutes, I was now cuffed back to my escort. All the heroes were done looking through my journals and put them neatly back into the bin.

"What's on the CDs and hard drives?" the skeleton man asked.

"On the CDs is camera footage of his abusive actions towards his children, audio included, and the hard drives are filled with audio of events I gathered from the bugs I placed within the house."

Nezu nodded, "We'll analyze these later, Mic do you mind carrying the bin for us?"

"Sure!" the cockatoo said a bit too energetically for my tastes.

He turned back to me, "We thank you for the evidence you provided us. Now let us go drop our guest back off before heading to UA."

Everyone nodded as I touched the button next to the door to let us out. As the door closed behind us, we walked back around to the front of the building and got into the cars.

*time skip*

I was dragged back to my room as I was now once again cuffed by my wrist to the bed. Thankfully this one had a long chain that reached just far enough for me to reach the bathroom connected to the room.

I laid down on my thin-bed and sighed. The whole way in and out of this building was so tightly secured with guards EVERYWHERE! "I guess I'm not getting out of this place anytime soon," I thought.

Nezu spoke up again, "Alright I want to talk with our guest here one more time before we go, could you all wait outside for a moment?"

"But what about you!? They're a killer!?" the skeleton man exclaimed in protest.

"Yes, but they wouldn't hurt me. It would be pointless. A hostage situation being added to their record wouldn't do them any good nor would be killing me. They have nothing to gain so it would be illogical," Nezu said with a smile, "I won't be long just give me a minute."

Everyone nodded and followed the principal's orders. Once the door shut I broke the silence, "So, what did you need to talk to me about?"

"I want to offer you a deal."

I raised my brow, "A deal?"

"Yes, I want you to transfer into our hero course at UA and train to become a hero as part of a sort of rehabilitation program I guess you could say. You are young, have experience, and have immense potential to become a wonderful hero. Of course, you will have to follow our rules and regulations while staying there and if you even try thinking of an escape you will be punished severely," he said with a big smile. Though it couldn't hide the sadistic glint in his eyes, "In return all of your criminal records are wiped clean and you can live the rest of your life as a hero."

My jaw dropped, "A WHAT NOW!?"
