Time will Tell

~The Next Day~

I had joined the class in the gym where Aizawa-sensei had said where we were going to meet someone.

I felt someone touch my shoulder and turned to see Todoroki.

"Hey Todo. What's up?" He sighed.

"I don't get to participate due to the fact that I didn't pass the provisional license exam. But I wish you good luck." He said smiling slightly.

"Aww, thanks Todo. I know you'll do good at the retakes." I said grinning.

He nodded and retreated to Aizawa-sensei's side while two boys entered the room. One had black hair and the other, blonde. The black haired one hid behind the blonde as they approached. The blonde had a wide smile as he approached.

A small conversation went on that I ignored as I looked at the boys.

The black haired one seemed really shy as he hid himself. I looked at the blonde boy who happily spoke to the class.

When he was done, it was insinuated that we would be training with him. As everyone watched in disbelief that only he would battle against all 21 of us, his clothes fell off.

Jiro, being in the front lines got a good peek at him and covered her face shouting.

I tried to hold it in but burst out laughing as he started going around and taking out my classmates. He started using a series of moves. I stood by Midoriya's side as our classmates started going down.

I turned to see the black haired boy facing a wall, his face looking away from everyone as the battle continued. He was talking about the battle and labeling everything about the fight.

I looked at him, knowing he would calculate what would happen next.

Sure enough, the next time the boy disappeared into the earth, Midoriya turned behind him and I took that as my cue. I flew up above him.

The blonde, who the black haired boy called Mirio, appeared and looked in surprise as Midoriya predicted his moves.

Midoriya and I looked at each other and nodded. In mutual understanding that one of us would would go around while the other took him head on.

I flew around him while Midoriya took him head on.

He might have gotten him had his punch not gone through. I looked in shock as he swung at Midoriya who barely dodged it. I charged him but he whipped around and landed a kick on me that sent me slamming into the floor.

"(Y/N)!" I heard Midoriya's voice. I quickly got up in time to see him be taken down.

We all stood up and everything was explained when everyone was okay. I ignored it all and continued to study the two students. The black haired boy who Mirio call Tamaki, had returned to Mirio's side. I had waved at him, but his face turned a bright red and he looked away from me.

Once the boys were gone, were were dismissed for the day. We needed to prepare for the internship applications tomorrow.

~Time Skip~

Apparently, Midoriya had another private talk without me with Mirio and All Might. They were going to an agency that belonged to an old friend of All Mights. I walked down the streets with Mirio and Midoriya, listening to Mirio's thoughts and feelings about his boss. He seemed like an okay guy from as far as I could tell.

We walked into the office to the scene of a woman trapped to board and a man in a suit was tickling her with a feather. The woman was laughing with desperation, begging him to stop.

He turned to us and stopped when we entered. He looked over us and smiled slightly.

"Welcome, please, come in. I am Sir Nighteye, it's nice to meet you." After a while of explaining. He had me sign some papers, but then asked his assistant Bubble Girl, Mirio, and I to leave the room. That he wanted to speak to Midoriya.

We left for a little while I waited, Mirio talked to me in a kind manor.i

"So Takami." Mirio said gaining my attention.

"Oh, call me (Y/N)." I said smiling. A strange look flitted over his face and he rubbed his neck.

"Uh, what's your hero name and quirk?" He asked. I grinned.

"I can control the elements. Kind of like Todoroki, I can emit fire, ice and water from my body, but earth and air had to be around me. I have limits as well, but I've never used it to the point where I weaken except in training. My hero name is El." I said.

Mirio looked at me with interest in his eyes.

"Wow. That's a pretty powerful quirk. El, that's a pretty name." He said.

"Thank you. Elementest was too long, so I went with El. I enjoy short names, they make things easier in my opinion." I said.

Mirio nodded.

"What's your quirk Mirio?" I said facing him.

"Mirio? Your already on a first name basis?" Bubble Girl asked.

"First name?" I looked at Mirio. "Oh, I thought . . . . . because Tamaki called you . . . ." I trailed off.

"Tamaki and I have been friends since elementary school. SO of course we go by out first names. Same with Nejire. You might know her as the last member of the big three, Nejire Hado." He explained.

I nodded as I heard a loud thump form the room. We quickly burst in to see Midoriya kneeling in front of Nighteye.

"You okay Mido?" I said coming over and placing a hand on his shoulder.

He looked up at me and nodded. He had signed the papers, agreeing to the terms of the work study we were spending.

We all changed into our hero costumes and saw the strange look on Mirio's face when I came into view.

"Ready?" I asked joining them.

Midoriya poked at my suit and pulled a piece I couldn't see into view. There was the small imprint design I had asked to be put on it. It was a symbol that stood for my birthday Zodiac. A gemini constellation.

"That's pretty cool." Midoriya said letting it go.

"Yeah, I'm a gemini. June 9th." I grinned.

We walked out as we patrolled the streets and talked a bit about our experiences, good and bad and things we thought we could improve. We were passing an alleyway when someone ran out and bumped into Midoriya.

We all look in surprise at a small girl in a nightgown with her arms and legs wrapped in bandages falls to the ground, startled from running into him. I look at her long wavy white hair and the horn on her forehead.

"Woah, are you okay?" Midoriya asked bending down to look at her. She was a cutie, I bent over Midoriya's shoulder to look at her.

"Aww, you should be more careful Midoriya." I teasingly scolded him.

"Wha-?! AH! I'm so sorry." He said to the little girl.

"I was teasing you Midoriya." I deadpanned.

Realization crossed his face and he wrinkled his nose sourly.

I giggled and we all turned our attention to the girl who came over and gripped mine and Midoriya's sleeves.

"Please, help me." She whispered, her voice almost inaudible

We all stopped joking and looked at each other before returning our attention to her. The sound of footsteps frew our attention to the alley where a man with a mask, brown hair, white gloves, and a green parka walked out. He sighed when he saw us and tensed.

"There you are. Sorry about my daughter, she likes to run off." He said.

I looked at him wearily, wondering why they came out of an alley. They both looked healthy as far as I could tell. Except for the girl's body.

I small conversation had gone while I was observing and I heard Midoriya ask the question that was on my mind.

"Why is she covered in so many bandages?" I think That's what he asked. I stopped listening because the man's eyes et on my and narrowed.

He looked as though . . . he almost recognized me.

I felt a shiver go down my spine and I looked to the boys. Mirio was smart, he could see the situation we were in. He was gently herding Midoriya who was oblivious to the fact that this guy could be somewhat dangerous.

I crouched next to him and the girl.

"We should get going guys. Don't wanna be late!" Mirio said cheerfully. I could tell he was acting and cocked my head, nodding slightly so he could see me. Letting him know I understood.

"Please, don't go." I heard the little girl whimper.

My heart broke as she clung to Midoriya and Midoriya suggested something that involved us following the man down the alley.

I knew this was bad and Mirio knew it too.

But when the man shifted in a strange way while he was talking, the girl he called Eri gasped and pushed against Midoriya. He let her go and she ran back to the man's side.

"Oh? You done throwing your tantrum?" He asked her.

I saw her small head nod and instantly knew this was all wrong. I wanted to go back after her, but felt a hand on my waist as I made a move.

"We need to go. Now." Mirio whispered in my ear, pulling me back.

Keeping his arm on me, he grabbed Midoriya and pulled us both out of the alley, waving cheerfully at the man.

"Sorry to bother you sir! Have a nice day!" He said. We turned the corner and walked a little ways away, Mirio dragging me and Midoriya.

"Mirio-" Midoriya started.

"I know. (Y/N) knows too. We all do. That man gave off bad vibes and that girl was scared out of her mind." He said letting us go.

I gripped his cape as he turned around.

"Mirio . . . " I said quietly.

"We can't go back for her. We'll just have to inform Sir and see what he says." Mirio said smiling kindly at me.

I sighed and let his cape go, and we made out way back to the Nighteye agency. The boys explained while I quietly stood there. We got back to the dorms later that day. Apparently, Kirishima had some excitement too. On the job while he interned his work study with Fatgum and Tamaki.

I went to sleep, worried for Eri and wondering what we were gonna do about it. I probably wasn't going to get much sleep.

~Time Skip~

I woke up the next morning and bumped into Bakugou. He didn't yell or shout. He just grabbed my arm and set me upright before I fell.

"Be careful, nerd." He said walking away.

I sighed and met Midoriya to go to Nighteye's agency. He, Kirishima, Uraraka, and Asui were all in the front.

"Oh, (Y/N)'s here." I heard someone say. They all turned to smile at me . . . except for Uraraka. She kinda smiled before turning away and grabbing her skirt.

I had a confused smile, but joined them while we walked. We were passing the corner where they usually leave, but they continued to walk with us.

"Don't you guys go that way?" Midoriya said pointing.

"Yeah, but Fatgum gave me directions to meet him somewhere else. It's this way." He said.

"Oh! We were told to go there too!" Uraraka said.

We all walked together to our destination. We walked into a room full of pro heroes who looked at us.

"Um. What." I said looking at Aizawa-sensei in the back.

He looked at me and smirked slightly. I wrinkled my nose and he laughed. Surprised eyes turned to him. He ignored them and came over.

He motioned to the empty seats that were at the table. Exactly for us.

"Take a seat. We have a few things to talk about." the others quickly sat down but I looked at my teacher.

I knew the heroes were distinctly watching us but I didn't care.

I frowned at him and he frowned right back. I poked his shoulder and he flicked my forehead.

"Okay, okay. But you should tell your students things sometimes." I muttered sinking into the seat between Midoriya and Mirio.

He smiled and sat in a chair nearby.

Nighteye was sitting at the head of the table with a projector on behind him.

"Great everybody's here."
