21 Eyes and hands everywhere!

I was about to have a busy week.

After hopping around with All Might, we ended up finding some crimes being committed around Musutafu city.

The usual burglary case and bank heists.

One would be tempted to call it useless or unworthy of my, and All Might's, time.

But the thing is...

During the sports festival, I've managed to trick that determined reporter to become my "Peter Parker" for free.

She obviously found my disguised clone's offer very suspicious. But accepted it nonetheless, given she had much to gain from it.

I informed her about my curious situation with having multiple clones of mine interning with different heroes and heroines around the country.

Our deal was that she would receive every bit of information it could "gather" in exchange for putting me in a good light.

She was the first reporter to receive that deal, and so she would receive a scoop earlier than the others.

Of course I could just steal her identity and had a single reporter warp from city to city to guarantee a better coverage. But I'd rather refrain from making it a habit, especially to those that didn't "deserve" it.

"You know something, young Monoma? Not even I possessed that much skill with wielding OFA while I was at your age." All Might spoke up, drawing my attention away from my clones' reports.

"I appreciate the praise sensei. But actually, my original quirk allows me to gain the experience from the user's quirk I copy. I'm literally following your example." I replied while adjusting my suit and sitting over the edge of the largest building in town.

"Extraordinary. I think you might've mentioned it before, but still... incredible." All Might remarked as he sat besides me. "Anyway, I'm glad we are having the time to work alongside one another. If my own sensei had lived, I'm sure she and I would've had moments like these."

"You haven't told me how she died. I mean, if you wish to not do so I completely understand." I said.

"It's alright. I'll tell you." He concluded. "But first I wish to tell you a few more things. To better explain it, I have to tell you about OFA origin."

And with that, he told me about the tale of two brothers born during the age when quirks were still a rarity.

He told me about the evil older brother that had the power to take others' quirks and to give it to others. He revealed that the younger brother initially was regarded as a quirkless individual and that he vehemently opposed his older brother.

The voices in my head that I've managed to ignore for a while now had suddenly increased their voice. Sharing an even more biased opinion regarding All for One than All Might's.

"But after the older brother forced a stockpiling quirk onto his brother to force him to submit, it was then discovered that he had a quirk to transfer to others. And with the mixture of them both, One for All was born." All Might told me while drinking and eating some snacks I've brought with me.

"That's... I didn't know OFA had such a backstory." I faked surprise and lied. "But, how did the younger brother learn that he could transfer his quirk? I mean, what are the chances that he voluntarily gave another his DNA and willingly transferred his quirk?"

From All Might's expression it was obvious he had no idea. "I-I... I don't know. There's plenty of information that I don't know about OFA. During the sports festival, you've told me about "ghosts" from the previous users." He waited until I nodded and then continued. "I myself have experienced it during my youth. But I never solved that mystery."

"Interesting." I genuinely remarked.

"But my reason to share with you this tale was to warn you." All Might tone got serious as he returned to his regular form. "As time goes by, my power continues to decrease. As we predict, after you healed me, my time in this form has increased exponentially... but my strength and speed are almost completely drained." He clenched his fist. "I'll be counting on you more and more going forwards."

"I see." I said.

"Unfortunately that's not the worst thing I've learned recently." He turned to me. "You remember when I told you about the incident that made me turn into that skeleton form before you healed me?" I nodded in acknowledgement and he continued. "Just as I've feared, I wasn't the only one to survive that deadly clash. My and my successors' nemesis, the older brother from that tale, is still alive. He is infamously known as All for One."

"All for One? An infamous villain." I mused to myself, faking ignorance. "I guess that explains Eraserhead and Midnight's face of expression after I explained the hero name I've picked."

"Aizawa came to me and mentioned it. It seems fate has chosen you to be the one to face this centuries old villain and finish him once and for all." All Might said before clenching his fists again and tensing his posture. "I'm only disappointed to not have been able to avenge my master."

"Don't worry sensei, I won't allow him to continue unpunished." I patted him on the back. "That I swear to you."

All Might nodded and returned to his enlarged form. "Thanks young Monoma, it means a lot to me. Now, let's continue with your internship. I can still keep up with you as we scout the city."

"Understood sensei." I replied and got prepared to continue.

Next was...

The current number two hero.

As me and the boys approached his agency, I couldn't avoid being impressed.

Endeavor's Hero Agency was a luxurious skyscraper type building with various floors. The front entrance was decorated with a stylized flaming "E" for Endeavor.

A little too much, but I like it.

Inside, there was a large office space with several desks and computers. Over 30 sidekicks including Burnin' were constantly dealing with requests and other hero work for Endeavor here.

Speaking of which, Burning, real name: Moe Kamij, is a young woman who has big, dark eyes and pointy teeth. Her most distinguishable feature is her long, flaming green hair with two bangs on each side and a wider bang going from the center of her forehead to the right.

She is very enthusiastic and has a fiery personality that obviously ended up immediately clashing with Katsuki's.

"Rather than what I can do, I came to find out what I can't." Bakugou remarked with an unusual serious expression.

"You sure can talk, can't you?" Laughed Burning.

"Shut up!" Was his angry reply.

"Greetings miss." Shoto intervened in the discussion before it escalated further. "We've come to an internship for my father."

"Oh, you're the boss' son! Wasn't expecting you here." She turned to speak with us while ignoring Bakugou. "And you must be... wait? It can't be!!!"

"Hi. It's a pleasure to meet you!" I replied charismatically.

I wasn't expecting a fan here of all places.

"I've been watching you ever since that amazing footage of the U.S.J leaked online. Man, you are so awesome! And to think you've pulled the boss' ultimate move at your first try! Really amazing stuff!" She barraged me with compliments and praises.

"Thanks!" I said shortly while taking a better look at her.

Man was she hot, and I wasn't referring to her quirk.

From what I knew, she and the "Flaming sidekickers" were a very passionate bunch and had even a funny catchphrase that was "Flame On".

"Alright, let's continue." Stated Shoto to us and began leading the way. "Have a good day, miss."

"Bye bye guys! See you soon!" She waved to us while winking to me. "See ya!"

"Let's go stupid thief!" Grunted Bakugou like a stereotypical tsundere.

Dude, you aren't the Bakugou that I have a crush on. So chill the hell out.

Moving on...

As one would expect from the agency of the No. 2 Hero, the office stayed continuously very busy with many of the working heroes remaining on standby or going out on patrol.

From what I knew and observed around, many of the sidekicks working at the agency had fire and heat type Quirks.

Makes sense.

But nothing exceptional compared to the Todoroki family.

Hell, I would guess that even Bakugou ranked higher when comparing quirks' potential with most of the people around here.

After taking the elevator and having a small talk with the boys while enjoying the window view of the city, we eventually reached the highest floor.

Endeavor's personal office was a very large room with only a relatively small table and desk inside among a few sofas.

The Devil himself was expecting us.

"Welcome." He announced with his usual tone. "Let's begin."

Just as I expected, without charisma the dude relied entirely on efficiency and efficacy.

That seemed to bode well for Bakugou, who obviously was impatient to start.

Looking at Shoto, I noticed that I've misread him.

His whole "Redeemer" shtick wasn't due to him wanting to bond with his father, but to actually redeem his family and quirk from who Enji was.

A little cold, but I assume it's a logical mentality for now.

By the way, Endeavor kept staring mostly at me as we patrolled the city.

Either he swung on both ways or my stunt during the Sports Festival had more impact than I was expecting.

Just kidding, the latter was obviously the reason.

Or was it?

Lol. Again, he isn't the Todoroki that I'm aiming to please.

Like a son like father I guess, both had a weird habit of rudely staring.

Regardless, after wearing our hero suits we immediately went on patrol.

Different from All Might, Endeavor wasn't one to engage in theatrical performances as he made a speech or received praise from the crowd of bystanders complimenting his work.

I mostly observed and took the experience of always being on movement and searching for signs of criminal behavior and civilians lack of safety.

While my main body would still have to act like All Might, it's paramount that I manage to get my clones as efficient as the current number two.

While Bakugou was the one more excited to be allowed to let loose, he didn't forget that we still didn't own a hero license.

I brought up once or twice some suggestions about his hero costume and pointed out some ways of improving his output of power.

Had to explain that the drawback of having multiple quirks was that I wasn't allowed to specialize my costume too much.

Such is the fate of a jack of all trades.

Though I could eventually mitigate it by using Momo's quirk and creating suits on the fly.

But that possibility would just end up annoying him.

To Ground Zero's credit, he patiently listened to what I had to say and pondered himself about it.

Surprisingly, Shoto ended up asking for my help.

He reasoned that I had much more experience with using multiple quirks while paying attention to carefully balance them out.

Well, color me impressed.

That obviously didn't escape Endeavor's notice.

But I was still letting him teach his younger son about their fiery quirk.

My main focus for now was to help him conjure both ice and fire to keep his body unharmed from side effects.

Since the number two had a tragic past with his first son regarding that, it seems he was much more eased with my help.

Meanwhile...

The man who's a bit too fast. The current number three hero, Hawks.

Also known as Keigo Takami.

A man of average height with a slim and narrow build. He has feathery ash blonde hair swept messily backward with some of the front tufts sticking up in arcs above his head, notably thick eyelashes, and some faint stubble on his chin.

He possesses a Quirk that grants him a set of large bright red wings with feathers that gradually lengthen the further down they go. And has a costume that resembles an aviator's uniform.

He wears a black shirt with a wavy golden pattern like a ripple in a pond, over which he has a tan jacket with a high collar, the insides and cuffs of the sleeves lined with white fur, and black gloves.

His headphones most likely have protection purposes, since the velocities in which he moves are capable of damaging eardrums beyond repair. A rounded visor protects his eyes, presumably from UV radiation above the clouds and dirt particles at high speed.

All in all, he would be my definition of cool.

The man is highly intelligent, both emotionally and logistically. While promoting a carefree and jovial attitude, his constant vigilance often hides under layers of serenity and equanimity.

Hawks is popular for acting laid-back while secretly being on constant alert.

All the way here, Inasa was the one more vocal about his excitement while Tokoyami kept his cool nonchalant tone as usual.

As polar opposite as one would get, yet they were still friends.

I myself took a more moderate role while leading our group to meet with Hawks.

Getting through his agency and reaching his office was easy enough, especially with everyone working here being so friendly and helpful to us.

"Greetings everyone! How are you doing?" He received us with open arms and a friendly expression. "So glad that you accepted my offer!"

"Thanks! The pleasure is definitely ours." I replied charismatically.

"It's so extremely super nice to meet you Hawks!" Shouted Inasa.

"It's only natural, we students are after all striving to train and learn with those that are best of the best." Remarked Tokoyami.

"Man, I've lucked out with you. One is a bird-like humanoid like me, and the other is a free spirit just like the wind!" The number three stated. "While you..." He pointed towards me. "Can be like both... and I assume like many others."

"Kinda like that." I chuckled.

Hawks strolled over to his office's large window and opened it, letting a strong wind pass by us. "So, I wish to see what I'm dealing with first. Suit up and let's go."

The three of us nodded and immediately followed his orders.

Just when I finished wearing my suit and was placing my last golden vambrace on my forearms, I felt someone coming towards me through my air sense.

I immediately recognized that it was Hawks, coming to pat me in the back.

As I turned to look, I swiftly dodged him faking ignorance. "I'm ready!"

"Good. C'mon man, I wanna see how you do your magic." Hawks ended up revealing his motive to stealthily approach me.

I immediately understood the reason, obviously a keen observer like him would come up with a few theories of how I copied quirks and what my limitations were.

With an innocent smile I replied. "Apologies, but I can't. Mutant types are harder for me to crack."

Usually.

With a regular amount of knowledge regarding the quirk and physical contact, it was more than enough for me to copy emitter and transformation types.

But mutants were not so simple.

I might need a better understanding than I usually do and also a sample of his DNA.

Why did I reveal it to Hawks?

He's a cunning individual, my previous dodge might've already drawn his suspicions. By openly stating a possible weakness, he will take it with a grain of salt.

And even if he does believe that it is hard, or even impossible, that's just another edge I will have if we ever find ourselves in a position to fight on another.

I already knew quite a lot about his "fierce wings". I knew they weren't simple wings, that each and every feather on it was a structure all on its own.

He could use these wings to fly, and to telekinetically control the movement and nature of each individual feather with ease, enabling him to shoot them as deadly precision projectiles.

He could also feel the vibrations in the air through them, allowing him to sense people's locations and differentiate targets by their voice by their unique timbre.

In a way, it was similar to how Inasa learned how to use his quirk like a sonar.

"What a pity! I was curious to see how you would've evolved them." The pro hero openly admitted, most likely assuming I couldn't copy him at all. "But tell me, do you like my quirk?"

"From everything that I've read online it's definitely an excellent quirk, though to be honest a little redundant given some quirks that I already possess on my arsenal." I answered his question.

"Ouch! Thanks... but ouch!" He faked being hurt. "But what do you mean by it being redundant?"

"You see... It allows you to be extremely fast to short, mid and long distances. But my portals and All Might's quirk are a little more convenient and efficient to use. And as for your attacks, the tactical results of your feathers can be achieved through a combination of my friends' wind control and telekinesis, not to mention your weaknesses like shortage of feathers and their fragility against fire."

That explanation had clearly caught him off guard, which wasn't a small feat. "I see, so you do have some way of acquiring your targets instincts and skills. I've thought so after you blatantly copying the number two's ultimate move. How broken!"

I just shrugged my shoulders. He clearly noticed I was aware of his mind games by remarking about his weakness and yet treated me as an ally.

Interesting.

Before we could continue talking, my colleagues announced that they had finished putting on their costumes.

Inasa had improved his Hero costume from our training, he now had it implemented with a thick burgundy suit that was pinned together with silver buttons.

He opted for a cape that draped over his shoulders and had the collar lined with thick fur.

Through his body were distributed some silver air pipes and tubes while I also noticed a silver jetpack-like propulsion system attached to his back.

He had both arms completely exposed with only a skintight blue sleeve that appears to be a part of his undersuit.

I kinda miss his large tan glove with air pipes on it that he sported in canon though. And the lack of a hat made his buzz cut stand out a little.

But now he actually wore his goggles properly.

As for Tokoyami, it seems he had listened to some of my suggestions.

He now was rocking a very elegant suit under his cloak.

Gentle would definitely approve.

Speaking of his cloak, it is retractable now. He has the option between covering his entire body or having more freedom to use his arms. That inadvertently aids him to regulate the amount of shadow he would supply to Dark Shadow.

The inside of the cape was now double lined with special pigments that each serve their own purpose.

A white pigment increases the reflectiveness of the cloak so that it can reflect and generate more light with less incoming light needed. A few flashlights would serve as contingency if he finds himself in absolute darkness.

The other pigment is vantablack. This special coating creates a zone of pure darkness within his cape.

The second support item was something that Midoriya himself came up with and had Mei aiding him. It was a pair of special gloves.

These new gauntlets were made of an incredibly durable steel alloy, but the metal had been treated with the same vantablack pigments that I've suggested to use in his cloak.

It matches perfectly with Tokoyami's bird-theme by resembling talons.

Each talon was an individual attachment to the gauntlet that were like insanely sharp little beaks.

These gauntlets don't stop at just providing short range functionality though, each finger attachment could be detached.

When Tokoyami aims his fingers and hands forwards, he can actually propel them flying from their sockets as high speed projectiles.

And if he wishes, by sending a little bit of dark shadow's energy along with these projectiles, he can even actually use his quirk to control their speed and trajectory.

I picture that when they are coated and imbued with dark shadow's energy, it would look like mini dark shadows chicks out of his fingers.

This means that like a fisherman reeling his line, Tokoyami can quickly pull in return his loose projectiles claws from wherever they are dug into, possibly even dragging some enemies around like Scorpion from Mortal Kombat.

Kinda like Endeavor's hellspider, but with pure darkness. Or like Lubbock's Cross tail from Akame Ga Kill.

And to reduce his overall reliance on his quirk for time when he doesn't really need to use it, or for time when it isn't wise to do so due to the level of darkness and his emotional state, he had a sword with him.

From what I can say, it's the same one he had in his room during canon. It has a golden guard that sorta looks like hawks beaks on both sides and it's sheathed in a dark scabbard.

I wonder if he can coat the blade with dark shadow for long rang blade swings. Like Ichigou's getsuga tenshou.

That would be neat, especially if he combos it with his Abyssal black body or Black fallen angel.

Before I had the chance of considering if he could imbue the sword with his quirk making it similar to Soul Eater, I noticed everyone was about to leap from the window.

"Let's go Aramis." Called Hawks.

With a nod I followed them and soared through the sky with a mixture of Ochako and Reiko's quirks.

——————————————————————

In another spot...

It is very rare for Edgeshot to take on any interns, as he often likes to work on his own, but he isn't entirely against working with other heroes.

Me and Shihai were talking about our expectations towards our internship, he even asked from time to time how my other clones were doing.

He was visibly surprised when I told him that I had a mental connection with them.

Speaking of my pitch black friend, I managed to convince him to talk about his hero suit.

Switching from his previous baggy jumpsuit to a jogger sweatpants and a long sleeved sports tight shirt. Both were pitch black, but seemed more practical to fight and run.

He wore white sneakers specifically crafted to muffle his steps and a pair of combat gloves with hard knuckles. And from what he told, in his utility belt he had stored multiple traps and tools.

I deducted he didn't know much about combat or even ranged weapons.

Perhaps Edgeshot might train him. Shihai's quirk allows him to be deadly with enough skill and experience.

Speaking of the number five pro hero, his Agency wasn't too fancy when compared to the rest of the hero agencies from the other top heroes. It contains a basic office, sleeping accommodations with an en-suite, kitchen area and a Dojo.

He awaited us in the latter.

The few sidekicks that were there were all wearing some kind of ninja or assassin attire. They showed discipline and awaited silently until Edgeshot spoke up. "Welcome."

I immediately bowed and brought my hands together in a gesture of respect while Shihai reluctantly followed my example. "Thanks for accepting us. We won't disappoint."

Without saying another word, all the other sidekicks charged towards us. Some had their weapons drawn but hadn't unsheathed them yet.

Every combat instinct that I had accumulated through copying quirks made every attack and movement predictable as if I was watching an old movie that I've already watched countless times.

Amongst their quirks, I noticed some inferior versions of what I've already seen. Some had pseudo invisibility or speed enhancements.

While I dodged and neutralized each attacker, I noticed that Shihai was completely comfortable with just hiding inside our shadows, tripping and spreading a few caltrops around the ground.

Surprisingly, he had a variation of my glue grenade. But it was less dense, more sticky and had a pitch black color instead of my original white.

It seemed to not be as capable of restricting its targets movement, but it allowed him to merge with it. Not only trapping them more effectively, but it seems he was able to control a target like a puppet.

Smart.

And I assume he had focused a lot of his training on that move.

Everything happened so quickly, in less than a minute I had knocked out each one of the sidekicks. Which was the one being controlled by Shihai.

"Impressive." Remarked Edgeshot, but faster than the speed of sound he transformed and rushed towards me.

Right before his attack landed, I casually dodged to the side.

Despite missing his attack, the pointed string immediately turned and went for Shihai, who was still looking towards the spot where the pro hero praised them.

Just before he was about to pierce him, Edgeshot felt disoriented and returned to his original form in mid air. He quickly recovered from it and spun over Shihai with an impressive flip.

"It's shameful, but I've forgotten that you could do that." The pro hero stated while making a stereotypical ninja pose and turned to look at me.

When he did, he saw my calm posture and red shining eyes. I had erased his quirk.

While my colleague was trying to understand what just happened, I spoke up. "You are really fast, Mister Edgeshot, but fortunately to me you're not the speed of light."

"With All Might's power there aren't many that can even keep up with you. And you..." He reasoned before turning to Shihai. "...interesting use of your quirk. I admit that from the Sports Festival it wasn't easy to predict how you would use your quirk."

My scheming colleague quickly nodded while still seeming a little annoyed with something. "Thanks."

"You may rest your eyes now boy. I won't attack again without a warning." He told me. "Tell me, why did you have come?" He asked both of us.

While we went on and on with some philosophical discussions of heroism and why we came to work with him.

I assumed it had to do with his ninja-like personality, but seeing his sidekicks recovering consciousness I assumed he also wanted to give them time to recover with dignity.

Not sure why, but it's his agency. He's the boss.

After our "initiation", he explained his routine and told us what we should expect of our internship.

Because he patrolled mostly during nighttime, he had put Shihai to practice again with the sidekicks while he wanted to spar with me.

This time we didn't use our quirks.

"It's unusual for some that young to be that experienced with combat. Your fighting style is hard to understand, you have successfully merged multiple martial arts into something unique to the situation." He pointed while dodging a kick and spinning around to punch me. "I'm not ashamed to admit that you are a better fighter than me." He had to slide to his and jump back to avoid my barrage of kicks. "You've said that you wish to learn how to fight crime properly, I can help you with that. You've mentioned that you lack a better understanding of the criminal underworld, that also can be arranged."

"That's good to hear." I said while flipping over him and blocking his consecutive strikes.

While sparring with Edgeshot, I noticed that Shihai was having a harder time than before. The sidekicks weren't happy with losing to two kids like us, and not being allowed to use his quirk exposed Shihai's lacking combat capabilities.

But soon enough, thanks to him being a quick learner, they ended up respecting him.

A few hours later we were instructed to wash ourselves and eat before leaving to patrol the city.

At night we followed Edgeshot through the city's rooftops as he continued to investigate some of the known criminal organizations.

He even mentioned interest to hunt down the hero killer after finishing dealing with the local criminal faction.

Food for thought I guess.

——————————————————————

Gran Torino's Apartment was located in Yamanashi Prefecture, which is 45 minutes away by Bullet train from the station I left with my classmates.

On the exterior, the building looked run down and abandoned. Windows were broken out and pieces of the building were falling off.

Above the front door, there was a sign that said "Welcome" that was falling off.

The building was also surrounded by a tall fence and gates.

I knocked on the door, but at first received no response, but a few instants later the door suddenly burst open and a flying boot came straight to my chest.

Stopping him with Reiko's quirk, as if I was Klyo Ren stopping a blaster shot, was exactly what I needed to make an excellent first impression.

"Greetings! You must be Gran Torino, my sensei's teacher." I offered my hand to the floating veteran hero. "It's a pleasure to meet you."

"Heh! It seems Toshinori had found a worthy successor. Your original quirk seems to be a perfect match with OFA." He chuckled. "Release me." Dropping like a feather, he turned his head upwards and stared at me. "I don't think I have much to teach you, but I wish to see if you have something else than pure power. Come in."

Inside, I noticed there was a couch with a table and chairs besides it.

On the back wall, Gran Torino had a bookshelf, a stool and a board with lots of papers stuck to it.

He also has a chandelier on the ceiling.

I mean, why wouldn't he.

"So... what's your hero name." He said while climbing his couch.

"I'm Aramis! The musketeer hero." I stated.

"Musketeer?" He raised an eyebrow.

"I've found great inspiration in the tales of old. With my quirk nature, I won't just become the symbol of peace that guards the people, but they will help me grow stronger. I've come to appreciate the motto: One for all, all for one."

Just like during class with the more experienced heroes, Gran Torino visibly flinched and turned to stare at me with a surprised expression.

"Why the hell would you..." He began berating me before I stopped him with an open palm.

"I'm now aware of the Dark Overlord. My generation might not have endured his reign of terror or even know about his existence, but sensei had explained to me why this power that I now inherit has been created." I brought my open palm close to my chest and clenched it. "Sadly, I have bad news to inform you."

"Well, spill the beans. What is it?" Gran Torino inquired, a little annoyed.

"He's still alive." I said shortly.

His shocked expression was even more explicit than before, but being the old school badass that he was, he quickly recovered his composure. "I feared that would be the case." He scratched his beard for a while. "So... all that effort to present you as the next All Might had a deeper meaning other than being mere vanity."

I nodded. "I've mastered OFA so quickly that sensei has barely anything left. I've managed to heal him to the point of allowing him to sustain his enlarged form for hours." I turned to look around while continuing speaking. "But I'm afraid that jumping around the city is basically the only thing that he can pull off without immediately turning back to his regular form."

"Toshinori had informed me a little bit about that." He jumped off his couch and said. "Let's eat, I'm hungry."

...

Yeah, of course he would be that subtle.

"Sure." I snapped my fingers and a warp gate opened besides me. "I've prepared a few snacks."

And for the third time I've managed to surprise Gran Torino, as some of my off-duty clones came and brought a bunch of food that I deduced would appease him.

"Boy, you really are a monster, you know that?" He muttered while staring at the others, me coming out of nowhere. But seeing the food that I've brought, he added. "Thankfully, it seems you are one of the good ones."

After eating enough to satisfy our hunger, Gran Torino still wished to test how I would fare against him.

Even though I didn't need his quirk, his combat style and experience was just as valuable as Edgeshot's.

Later, noticing through the tv that I was almost everywhere, we just spent our time talking about Nana Shimura and All for One.

Obviously, he knew a lot more than Toshinori did.

We even played chess.

...

Not much else though.

[Radio Broadcast]

"Hey! We are back to talk about the you hero trainee that surely left his mark on Japan, if not the world! He had chosen the hero name: Aramis, but you might better know him as Neito Monoma! Please, let's welcome him to my humble radio channel." Said Present Mic.

After hearing a few claps and cheering from the studio speakers I spoke up. "Thank you! Thank you! It's a pleasure to be here."

"And also, please welcome the daughter of the legendary musical composer, Kyotoku Jiro! You might better know her from her awesome fight against the horde of villains that invade U.A. Ladies and gentlemen, Earphone Jack, better known as Kyouka Jirou!" He shouted and the same sound effect introduced Jirou.

"I-I thanks the opportunity to be here, and thanks for the kind words of encouragement that I've been receiving." She tried her best to keep her voice as tranquil as possible.

But I was allowed to witness her blushing of embarrassment.

"Cool!" Present Mic took the lead and began explaining why we were here. "For this entire week I'm glad to announce that we will be having the pleasure of working alongside thanks to your internship."

"Likewise." I remarked as Jirou nodded before remembering to mutter approvingly.

"So... our first topic couldn't be anything else than, why do both of you wish to become heroes?" He asked.

After allowing my colleague to go first, as she explained that it was something that she felt was her calling, I praised her and told my answer. "... as for me, I myself have always felt it was my responsibility. Not like a tedious or bothersome task, but a duty of paramount significance to me."

"Amazing. Please, do explain it further to our listeners. I'm sure you've peaked their interest just as you've peaked mine." Present Mic remarked.

"Sure. What I mean by that, as some of you that follow my social media might already know, is that I've always believed that if I could do good things for other people, I had the moral obligation to do those things. Yet, you won't hear me scorn those that only wish to live their lives in peace." I built my explanation around what I've said and done up until now. "My quirk "copy" allows me to tap into other people's strength and make it mine. I don't see it as stealing, contrary to what some have remarked online, given that I don't even cause the slightest of dizziness. So... with every individual that I met aiding me to become better, I will hold myself as the shield that protects the weak and the sword that fends off those seeking chaos and destruction."

Throughout my speech, I kept my voice within a pleasant tone and eloquently delivered each sentence by mimicking my favorite actor.

Instead of finding a somewhat confused pro hero, Present Mic just shouts in excitement. "And that's Aramis for y'all! The hero believes that with great powers comes great responsibility!"

I chuckled and we moved on to other topics.

Finally, the biggest reason why Present Mic decided to request to have me as his intern.

"So Aramis... I'm sure we've delayed this topic for enough time." He smiled. "Please tell us, should we be expecting more amazing shows like the one you performed during the Sports Festival? You must be aware that your three songs have been trending and reached the top five in the Billboard Charts! Through your social media, you still haven't solved that doubt for your fans."

"Oh, I'm glad that my effort to cheer everyone up was so successful." I said and turned to Kyouka. "To be honest, me and Earphone Jack here were wishing to display a song that we've come up with together. Can we request this small favor to you?"

"Absolutely! After all, this is a music station!" He replied excitedly. "What is the name of your newest song?"

"Superhero." I stated and we were brought our instruments immediately.

Me and Jirou began after the soundtrack started. "Oh oh oh oh"

"Stand up, everybody look alive!

Say come on, come on, come on we're gonna get it now.

Hands up if you're ready for a fight.

Say come on, come on, come on we're gonna win it now.

I don't need you to believe in me.

I know how to change my destiny.

Sit down but to rewrite our history, rewrite our history, rewrite our history.

We can change the whole world, gonna take it over.

Gonna start it over, don't you know what we could be.

A new beginning, fighting 'til we're winning.

Tell me that you're in it, don't you wanna be.

A superhero, a superhero, a superhero.

Don't you wanna be?

A superhero, a superhero, a superhero.

Anybody could be.

Anybody could be.

Anybody could be.

Rip it off, show the symbol on your chest.

Say come on and show the world who you really are.

It's not enough to be better than the rest.

Gotta take it to the top and make yourself a superstar.

You don't need them to believe in you.

Get your mission on lock and see it through.

You've got all the power you need in you.

Power you need in you, power you need in you.

Anybody could be."

Jirou took the cue and went solo for a while.

"We can change the whole world, gonna take it over.

Gonna start it over, don't you know what we could be.

A new beginning, fighting 'til we're winning.

Tell me that you're in it, don't you wanna be.

A superhero, a superhero, a superhero

Don't you wanna be?

A superhero, a superhero, a superhero

Anybody could be.

Anybody could be..."

We both shouted. "A hero!"

"That was totally off the chain guys! I'm confident to say that both of you have a bright future ahead of you. Not only as heroes... but as rockstars!" Present Mic praised us, thankfully Jirou aided me to tweak the song to have a more rock approach. She thought it wasn't much, compared to 'coming up with most of the song's lyrics'. "Don't be shy my dear listeners! We are taking calls and wanna hear your thoughts regarding these young prodigies."

Thankfully the audience ate it up more than I was expecting. Me and Kyouka received a lot of praises and compliments, not to mention a love declaration that I've received from a fangirl.

After I hinted that I might have one or another song for the coming week, the response was astonishingly positive.

Despite Kyouka's shyness and self doubt regarding her talent for music, it seems I've managed to successfully persuade her and boost her confidence to embrace her love for it while still becoming the very best heroine that she could be.

Present Mic wasn't expecting such success on our first day, but obviously he wasn't complaining.

Meanwhile, having a nice and relaxing day on the beach while hearing the radio.

A tall, curvaceous woman with sky blue eyes spoke while receiving a massage from a very athletic and handsome youngster. "Mmmmm darling, your voice is so pleasant to hear. It's kinda strange how you've managed to make rock and roll match perfectly with the sound of waves crashing against the sand."

"Oh please, you flatter me. It is just a hobby that I enjoy doing from time to time." He replied, while completely unfazed by the sleep-inducing aroma exuding from the woman's body.

He slid his hands around her back as he massaged her with great skill.

"Oh my god! That's so good!" She stated.

"I'm glad you are enjoying it." The boy replied.

...

Alright, it was me.

...

"Aaaah!"

And the one moaning was Midnight.

...

How did I manage it?

C'mon, it's me we are talking about.

I thought you had learned by now to not underestimate me.

You still want to know?

Geez.

I may or may not have suggested to her that there would be no crime for her to go out with a clone.

And I may or may not have switched places between that same clone with the original me that was with All Might.

I know that I said bro before hoes, but it isn't as if I abandoned All Might.

But all this internship stunt that I've decided to pull for a week was already giving me considerable mental stress.

C'mon, it was for the greater good.

Anyways, it's only day one and we already ditched her agency to spend some time alone on the beach.

Doesn't take a genius to notice we were moving fast.

See y'all later.

...

Elsewhere...

The Mt. Agency was a multi-story office building, on whose roof two horn-like structures protrude, similar to the ones Mt.Lady had in her domino mask.

The pro heroine decided against better judgment to put her agency in the middle of an urban area instead in the suburbs, because she wanted the publicity, despite her Quirk is quite impractical to use in the city.

Fun fact: She had to rebuild her own headquarters because she accidentally demolished it.

I guess it isn't easy to be such a fat ass.

As both me and Yui arrived, not surprisingly we met a very lazy Mt. Lady is resting on her couch while reading a magazine.

"Please excuse us! We've come to take an internship with you." I said for the two of us.

"Oh?" She turned her head to look at us and suddenly jumped to her feat. "Oh my god you came!"

That's wh...

She approached us, but as if ignoring Rule, she stood facing me. "Welcome to my agency! I'm so glad you accepted my request!"

She obviously wished to get a little of the attention that I was receiving from the media and masses.

"Mn... it is a pleasure to meet you. My name is Yui Kodai, but you..." My colleague attempted to ignore Mt. Lady's lack of manners, but was interrupted mid sentence.

"Look at these arms! They are so big! You must spend a lot of time at the gym." The pro heroine commented while staring at my arms. "Flash some smiles and you'll be a genuine lady-killer!"

Wasn't she tagging along Death Arms during the Sports festival? Why is she even commenting about my arms?

I mean, I'm not as skinny as the original Neito Monoma was.

I would picture myself as a lean and athletic type. Being more ripped than Bakugou and Todoroki, but not as bulky as Inasa or Shouji.

I think a better reference would be Iida.

Anyways, I digress.

Mt. Lady was clearly trying to make me simp for her.

Fat chance, fat ass.

You better watch it though, or you will be the one becoming a simp.

Or don't, and make things much easier for me.

Speaking of making things easier, I noticed that Yui wasn't having a good time. Her cold expression was a dead giveaway.

To avoid unnecessary trouble, I had to include my classmate in the conversation from time to time.

And thankfully, both girls didn't openly clash against one another.

I was about to wonder why Mt. Lady even requested for Yui to come, when she began assigning her tasks that frankly were very reminiscent of what she ordered Mineto to do.

It took me quite a lot of charisma and subtle interventions, but by the end of the day I was glad that I've managed to avoid a fight from happening between the girls.

What an interesting week I had before me.

Man, I can't wait to introduce Mt. Lady to Midnight. After all, I do appreciate catfights between gorgeous women.

As for some of the honorable mentions...

Ryuko was a woman with chin-length blonde hair, which she wore swept back with a headband, and a long fringe over the right side of her face, covering her eye.

She had thin, yellow, inward-tilting eyes with slit pupils and notably sharp teeth, these aspects were obviously due to her reptilian Quirk.

She was a humble and gentle person from what I could see. She gave praises where they were deserved and not expected gratitude in return.

She always keeps her composure in a combat and rescue situation.

Ryuko saw talent where it's due and was willing to hand difficult tasks to those who she thought could handle them.

That matched perfectly well with Ochako, Tsuyu and Reiko.

Although she didn't display favoritism towards me, she still showed surprise when I copied her and turned myself into a dragon.

Interestingly, my form seemed more mean looking, with jagged scales protruding from me and stupidly sharp longer fangs and claws being hard to conceal.

By amping it with a little of OFA, I noticed my combat capability had exponentially increased.

Just like with my giant form, this form being boosted was to my regular 100% OFA form what a powerful dragon was to a regular person.

Totally broken, I know.

Not to mention my hax abilities, like twin impact or black hole.

I could even become invisible if I was feeling like it. Or wanting to match the whole dragon theme by breathing fire with Endeavors' quirk.

Bad side is that I might not find many challenges besides some really OP villains.

Oh, and my clothes weren't really made to match my reptilian form. Enlarging it wouldn't do this time, I need to contact my support team.

But overall, I'm not complaining.

As for my internship with Ingenium.

Compared to his younger brother, Tensei was far more laid back with an easy-going attitude.

I've never really understood when Tenya told me I was similar to his older brother.

But I think I do now.

Tensei was joyful that his younger brother admired his work as a pro hero and was already impressed by how far he had reached. Continuously praising him by his performance during the Sports Festival.

He stated that during our internship he would value teamwork. Believing that having a large group where everyone serves a specific purpose was the easiest way to rescue people quickly.

We run around town patrolling the streets and making small talk about our school.

I didn't know it, but Tensei had become friends with Gentle through watching his more upbeat videos and had been helping him with getting his hero license.

What a genuine nice guy.

I had to laugh when we stopped to drink something and both brothers pulled large bottles of juice. Although Tensei was much more into grapes, while Tenya enjoyed more oranges.

I know it is just a useless trivia, but I just thought it was really funny.

As for Fat Gum, he clearly was competing with Tensei for the spot of world's nicest guy.

Kirishima had told me he had received a request from the number eight hero Crust, but declined due to not feeling satisfied with his own performance during the Sports Festival.

I had considered going to intern for him, but his area was already covered by some of my other clones with minor heroes.

Like with Ryukyu not having Neijire around, the Big Three weren't currently interning. Probably due to school tests and their own Sports Festival about to begin.

Although I'm pretty sure Mirio is already training like crazy with Nighteye.

So it was just me and Kirishima following Fat Gum for now.

He and Kirishima quickly became fans of the food I cooked as we stopped from time to time from patrolling around.

But what worried me a little was that trigger was already starting to become a problem.

Each drug batch had differences between quality and safety. But they weren't supposed to be that common yet.

Even though it gives me a little hope of having some challenges from time to time, I knew this kind of trope.

I wouldn't underestimate it only to suffer a great loss as a result.

Others clones were making great progress with smaller agencies and making my image even more popular around the country.

The one with Ibara and Keiko was mastering plants and fungus while becoming friendly with Kamui woods.

And the other accompanying Awase and Kendo was helping them solve some cases with Death Arms. Honestly, nothing really special.

To me at least.

But the clone that had my interest was the one I had infiltrated into the League of Villains.
