One Year Later...

Walking along the streets of Musutafu, Gohru breathed in deeply before exhaling as he carried a recycling bag filled with snacks and drinks.

He was thinking about some things, the start of the plot in about 5 months, Denji's training, and Toga.

Toga... They had an interesting talk about her future.

"Forensics?"

"Yeah! With my Quirk, I can find the culprit much easier! And it is so interesting!"

"... What about being a hero, Toga?"

He asked, to which Toga just had a cringe expression.

"No thanks. I don't like helping other people with their problems except yours."

Yep, that sounds just like her to do so. But still...

"And you got a scholarship to London's number one high school?"

"Yep! Here! See!"

She said with excitement as she showed the email that she received a day ago. He had too received it, and he had decided to not take it since he was already planning to be enrolled on UA.

After checking the authenticity of the scholarship and the school's education standards, with a heavy heart, he decided to let her go.

It was for her safety too.

"... Alright, I'll blackmail the Himiko's for their signatures then."

"Forensics?"

The voice of Denji rang from his phone as Gohru sighed. He was in the usual cafe with headphones on to not let anyone know what he's hearing.

"Yeah, and I'm fucking worried. I mean, it's a whole continent away! That's kinda far, too! And what about her... tendencies?"

"Ah, right. Blood. That's gonna be a problem since she'll go on a frenzy if she doesn't drink any a day... Anyways, at least she's safe from the bullshit that's about to happen, you know?"

"Ugh... Just thinking about it hurts. So, how's your training?"

He could hear Denji groaning at the sound of 'training', making him chuckle.

"Dude, I don't know how you even do 5 sets of this every day! I can only do 2 before dropping dead!"

"Don't blame me, blame Mori and Taejin. They were the ones who withstood this kind of training."

"Monsters, both of them. Anyways, have you submitted the form yet?"

Denji changed topics as Gohru subconsciously nodded before smiling since Denji couldn't really see the nod.

"Yeah, Hero Course. We're about to fuck up canon so hard."

"Hehe, I know right? No more future knowledge I guess."

"Cheers to that."

"What the fuck is this..."

He muttered as he looked at the calendar. It was already June, and the Sludge event had not even happened yet, even though it was supposed to happen in April.

Scratching his head in confusion, he thought of the possibility of Midorriya not getting the Quirk, which was a possibility.

Not to mention, that the fact that the characters in this world were 2x stronger than normal, means that Midoriya had another possibility of getting the Quirk late, but still being the same strength as canon.

He had asked Denji about it, and he agreed that maybe this universe's Sludge event was later than canon's.

'Ugh... This is stressing me out...'

That was a few weeks ago. Now, he was about to head back to a condominium that he bought in Musutafu since Tokyo, his hometown was quite far away from UA High when suddenly he heard a boom near him.

BOOM!

Looking at the explosion, he blinked before grinning, jumping to a nearby rooftop to watch the birth of My Hero Academia's protagonist.

" — a child with a strong Quirk is struggling against him!"

"It's basically a minefield!"

The heroes were yelling at each other to comminute with flames surrounding them as Gohru leaned on the railing of a rooftop near the scene.

"Yep, Sludge Incident! So our hypothesis is correct, he does get it midway through the 10 months..."

"There's no one who can take care of this at the scene right now!"

A hero yelled out as they took a step back to dodge a tendril of sludge coming at them.

"Shit, all we can do is wait for someone with a more suitable Quirk!"

Humming to himself, he leaned forward more as he thought to himself.

'Wow, they are just going to stand back? I get that Woodman and Big Woman here can't help, but the rest of them are just going to hold the damage back without risking their lives? Talk about being bitches — Oh."

His eyes spotted a messy group of green hair in the crowd, making him focus on the person.

'... 15 years. We finally meet after 15 years, Midoriya Izuku.'

Just like in the anime, Midoriya Izuku was somewhat short, his round face framed by a short mop of fluffy dark-green hair which sticks up at odd angles around his head and had freckles on his face as well.

The boy had a face of realization on his face and covered his mouth with his hands as he watched his friend struggle against the Sludge Man.

Time stopped for Gohru when a book dropped onto the floor before Midoriya bursts into the scene, running at the Villain and passing through the crowd and the heroes that were just standing around there with a confused facial expression.

Uncontrollably, Gohru started to laugh as he takes off his mask as "Go-Ru", watching as the boy threw his backpack at the Villain's eyes, making the Villain flinch back and stop his raring attack.

Midoriya reached Bakugo before starting to claw him out, ignoring the Villain who was getting out of his momentary stun.

'It's time.'

His fingers weren't enough though as he desperately tried to pull Bakugo out of the sludge, smiling with a nervous expression while crying when Bakugo looked at him.

"Y-You looked like you were asking for help..."

The Sludge Villain roared in anger as he controlled Bakugo's right arm, mini explosions popping as the arm swung at Midoriya who had closed his eyes, bracing for impact.

BOOM!

But nothing came.

Opening his eyes, Midoriya's eyes widened when he sees a figure in front of him holding onto Bakugo's wrist, his face covered by a hoodie.

"Not bad, kid."

And with an effortless pull, he successfully dragged Bakugo out of the sludge, with both Bakugo and the Villain looking shocked at his appearance, placing himself between Bakugo, him and the Villain.

"HOW DARE YOU TAKE MY SHIELD AWAY!!!"

Multiple tendrils of sludge shot out and soared toward them, but the man in front of them just took a deep breath before moving.

SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT SPLAT!

The tendrils were redirected away from them into the buildings next to them, making the Villain drawn back in confusion as with a blink of an eye, the man suddenly appeared a meter before the Villain.

Shocked, the Villain tried to do anything to stop him but failed as the man dragged his right leg back.

Renewal Taekwondo.

With a quick breath of air, he twists his body and the ball of his left foot, raised his right leg, and swung at the Villain with a front kick.

Jin Hwechook.

WHOOSH.

...

BOOOOOOOOOMMMMMM!!!

An delayed gust of wind shot out to the Villain as the wind pressure from the kick blew everything in its path away.

FWUUUUSHHHHHH!!!

The crowd behind them gets shielded from the winds by Mount Lady's large body that was capable to direct the winds elsewhere, as the kick creates an updraft that shifted the clouds above them.

Looking down at the unconscious boys, Gohru just chuckled nervously as he immediately disappeared from the spot, leaving the place immediately.

Eventually, All Might who was shocked at the power, snapped out of it before going into Muscle Form as he drew the attention away from the boys, hoping to talk to that Midoriya boy once this whole thing was over.

" — never asked you for help!"

Bakugo yelled to Midoriya as Gohru who was sitting on one of the nearby rooftops (making sure to be about 1 km away and out of their sights), eating the chips that he bought earlier.

"And you didn't help me! Got it?! I was fucking fine by myself!"

... This guy has some serious temper issues.

"You're a Quirkless failure playing without a full deck! Don't you fucking look down on me! Are you trying to make me owe you?!"

The boy gritted his teeth in anger before yelling out one final message to Midoriya.

"Don't look down on me! You damn nerd!"

He turned around before power walked away with an angry expression, clearly pissed from earlier.

Midoriya watched the silhouette of the boy before looking down on the ground, monologing within himself when suddenly Gohru spots All Might who was steaming from overusing Muscle Form, watching the two boys from afar.

As he was about to walk away, All Might make his appearance as he stops before Midoriya.

"I AM HERE!"

"Argh! A-All Might?! Why are you here? Weren't you surrounded by reporters until just now..."

All Might just start to laugh as he finger-guns Midoriya.

"HAHAHA! Getting away from them was a piece of cake! Why? Because I am All Mig — Kuk!"

He starts to flex his back muscles before spitting out blood, shrinking in size before reverting back to his Tiny Form.

After some coughing fits of blood, he wipes it off with his arm before looking at Midoriya.

"Young man, I've come with an apology, a correction, and a suggestion."

"What?"

"If you hadn't been there... If you hadn't told me about your life... I would've become a guy in a bodysuit who was just for talk. You, a normal Quirkless person, moved before I even could. I am sorry for being such a hypocrite, and I'm sorry that I couldn't save you and needed someone else to."

"T-That can't be... It was my fault in the first place. I got in the way of your work, and I even said all those impertinent things even though I'm Quirkless..."

"That's right. It was because it was none other than the timid, Quirkless you at the scene that I reflected upon myself. Heroes are meant to go further beyond and risk their lives 24/7. Yet, I did not, and you and that boy almost died. I should have moved! But thankfully, someone did and now I have a chance of redeeming myself!"

All Might raised his thin arm at the boy, pointing at him.

"Do you know? Top Heroes have stories about them from their school days. Most of their stories have one thing in common. Their bodies moved before they had the chance to think!"

Midoriya's eyes widened slightly at the sentence as All Might walked closer to the boy, his arm still raised as Midoriya started crying tears.

"That was true for you, too, wasn't it?"

With a grunt, he cryingly nodded.

"Y-Yes!"

Kneeling down on the floor with his hands on his chest, Midoriya cried even harder as All Might rested his raised arm on the boy's shoulder.

With the beautiful orange sunset in the background, All Might said the words that would start My Hero Academia. Just one sentence.

"You can become a hero."

This was the start of how Midoriya Izuku becomes the greatest Hero.
