CHAPTER 1: A new beginning

OLIVIA

All my life i have been looking for a job but no hope . Maybe because my standard is to low or am too poor for the economy . HI am Olivia Lee am 22 years old , i am working in an advertisement company or i was until few days ago , i got fired cause am always late cause my house was too far and then the BOSS doesn't just like me and some other reason. But i know one of the main reasons is because am poor , i have always been teased for being poor even if my family is a normal family as far as i know we never lacked anything. And then my siblings who also teased me for being the only girl who hasn't had a boyfriend and that am single. By the way we are five ,three girls and two boys , out of all my siblings the only one who actually cares for me is Woo jin , the first boy and my favorite brother. He is the only reason why am at the UNITED STATES , he even got me a house , my own house not rented apartment. I feel bad for leaving my mom and my younger sister Maria , but i came here with my BFF , Clara Jang.

ANNOUNCER : WE HAVE NOW ARRIVED AT WASHINGTON, D.C

OLIVIA

Clara has been like the sister i never had , she has been a caring friend and sometimes acts like my mom and my sister at the same time . I love her even though she is older than me with 6 years .

They took a taxi to the house that WOO JIN brought, its a three bedroom flat , one room upstairs with a sitting room and two downstairs with a kitchen and store . Every room had a bathroom and a toilet attached to it , it wasn't big but Olivia liked it. Olivia chose the bed room upstairs and Clara chose the one of the bedroom downstairs.

FEW HOURS LATER

"Are you ready?'' Clara calls me out., ''Yeah am almost done'' I replied her . I rushed down the staircases. ''You are really enjoying those stairs'' Clara said and i laughed as we walked out leaving for exploring.

CLARA

Today is our first day in the US . And it doesn't excite me as much as it excite her (LOOKS AT OLIVIA AND SMILES) having her as my best friend is the best thing that has happened to me . But now i need to focus and get a job to support her as a sister would and make sure she doesn't lack . We go in search of a job and i hope we both get one, she doesn't really have good luck with getting a job the first one she got was just luck and i hope she will have the same luck she had before . Cause getting a job in South Korea is hard but here is even harder . i hope they dont make her feel bad cause this is a new beginning for both of us .
