Blue Sun Rising

Nakamura Aoi is a 22 year old woman constantly avoiding her parent's attempts at trying to match make her marriage. She wants marriage but her sexual preference doesn't allow her. Unbeknownst to her family, she hides away her true desires and drinks away her sorrows every night. Until one night, her parents burst into her apartment and witness her at her most embarrassing moment. At this moment, she runs out of her apartment and in a drunken stupor, while arguing with her parents, walks too close to the bridge's railing and ultimately disappears from her parent's eyes. The next thing she knows, she wakes up coughing up water on the shore of a beach next to an unknown port town in a world she doesn't recognize. At this point, she meets the 17 year old, Arunika, crouching over her smiling a toothy grin like her name implies. Early morning sunlight. Follow their tale as Aoi discovers love in this seemingly peaceful world filled with wonders and danger alike. ~~~~~~~~~~ (The title comes from the combination of meanings of the two female leads.
