Mr God is a specialist!

"Well, that's because Miss Hua's in a bit of a crisis." Goldy replied.

"What? I should help her then!" Guo Ning said.

He was absolutely willing to tear open the locked door for Hua's sake.

That's when Goldy realized the fault in what he said. "Oh, it's not that sort of a crisis per se. It's more like, she doesn't have enough Qi pills to complete learning that skill she's trying to learn." He gave out an honest answer.

"Oh, I see. What can I do about it? I'm willing to do anything!" Guo Ning replied.

"You see, these pills are only in the middle tier sects. So…" Goldy was about to talk about the robbing tactic, however he was interrupted by Guo Ning.

"Wait, I saw some pills in the market. Will that be enough?" He asked.

"Guo Ning. You and I both are aware that Miss Hua has surpassed the Qi level where those pills are effective." Goldy replied.

Guo Ning thought for a while before nodding his head. "You're right. So, what are we gonna do?" He asked.

Goldy was ecstatic about getting another chance to explain the robbing tactic. "There's only one thing we can do. We're gonna have to head to one of the sects with those pills and-"

"Ask for some from them in the Blue Moon Sect's name!"

"Rob them off all their pills!"

"Wait, what?"

Both of them were confused as they simultaneously said the opposite thing that the other meant.

"Why are we robbing someone? Like, I'm freshly off that profession. It's not like I wanna go back to it again!" Guo Ning spoke as he reminisced about the times he spent as a bandit.

"So, what are you, an idiot? You're gonna ask them with the sect's name. They'll for sure ask who's it for. And then your blabbermouth will reveal Hua's name, rendering all the hard work that did in hiding her identity useless. Is that what you want?" Goldy asked.

He was legit pissed about Guo Ning's morality radar, which seemed thoroughly idiotic.

"Ah, but. Miss Hua would be ashamed of me if I did stuff like that!" Guo Ning said in a low voice.

"That woman's gonna be sad if you rob someone? Haha, that's the weirdest shite that I've ever heard! Ning, how do you think she got all the pills until now?" Goldy posed the question.

That's when Guo Ning thought about it seriously for once. "How did she do that?" He asked.

"Ever heard of the Cat Burglar?" Goldy asked.

"Ah, the notorious robber who has been keeping Wonsong city on edge—don't tell me!" Guo Ning knew where the talk was going by then.

"That's right. She's the cat burglar." Goldy revealed.

"Wait. That makes little sense. The posters say that the Cat Burglar is a man of huge stature, not a young lady." He replied.

"Well, they'll make all sorts of rumors when they haven't even seen the burglar's face once. Had they seen the face and stature, they wouldn't have said such a thing." Goldy replied.

"But… The empress and cat burglar are in two different spectrums! How is that even possible?" Guo Ning was astonished.

He never expected Hua to be the cat burglar. However, that was solely because of the stature difference. Everything else for them both was eerily similar.

"Well, if the Empress is light, then the cat burglar is the darkness. Think of it that way. For the light to keep its glow, the darkness has to keep up. Or else the balance would be disrupted and the world would be in grave danger." Goldy described it in the most fancy way he could, hoping that Guo Ning would believe the bullshite that he spouted.

"What the hell!" Guo Ning shouted in a serious tone. When Goldy thought of it as a lost cause, he saw it—the admiration in his face. "Miss Hua's such a good person! Oh, poor young miss, having to keep the balance of this world.. It's a hard job. Mr God, I'll help her in whatever way possible, even if it means that I have to rob someone!" Guo Ning proclaimed.

[I just can't believe that my bullshite words worked!]

{What did you-}

[Zip it! Do your freaking cultivation properly!]

{.... Okay.}

Anyhow, Goldy was ecstatic about how it worked. He knew that the only reason it worked the way it did was because Guo Ning had fought her before and seriously believes that she has immense potential and also since he has a massive crush on her which makes him believe every good thing that's said about her. If one of the two factors were missing, he wouldn't have believed in that.

"So, since you have just agreed to robbing. Shall we just go do that?" Goldy asked.

"Very well. However, I would like to cast a protection before Miss Hua's room. She's cultivating, right? I don't want someone to disturb her during that time." Guo Ning requested.

"Ah, don't worry. I did that already. Even if you try breaking through into the room with your entire force, you won't be able to open it." Goldy assured.

"Hmm, shall I test it out then?" Guo Ning asked.

"Be my guest." Goldy accepted the challenge.

When they reached the front door of the room where Hua was, Guo Ning felt a bit nervous. "Hey, what if the protection just crumbles under my strength and I disturb her cultivation?" Ning asked.

"Believe me, that won't happen." He didn't go further with it other than that.

However, Guo Ning needed assurance. "If it did?" He asked.

"Even if it did, Hua is not someone who easily loses her concentration. Don't worry!" Goldy assured him the way he wanted.

"Well then. Here goes nothing." Guo Ning headed to the door at full speed like a raging bull.

Anyone who saw this scene would think that Ning would just break through multiple walls with this single push.

However, reality was quite different—thankfully. Instead of breaking through, Guo Ning was bounced back like a bouncing ball.

The few of the new members who happened to accidentally see this scene were sure that he was gonna rage.

"What… Wow! This is amazing! Mr God, you're a real specialist, aren't you?" Guo Ning asked with brimming excitement.

He was a masochist who enjoyed getting beaten up and bounced off after all.
