6 YUE HUANG

As Xing Peng went through the memories, he soon found out that the previous owner of this body was called as Yue Huang. He was from Yue family and also the son of Yue Yi, who was an elder in the Yue family. As Xing Peng went through the memories, he found out that this Yue family was quite strong and was one of the four major powers in Tingxin Empire. Yue Huang had traveled with his father and some delegates of the Yue family to observe a martial tournament which was being held in a neighboring empire, the Lushu Empire.

Xing Peng simply stopped going through the memories right there.

This truly surprised Xing Peng, wasn't this guy simply the God of gambling? As Xing Peng had inherited Yue Huang's memories, he also got hold of all the latter's gambling skills and experiences.

But that was not what troubled Xing Peng, according to the memories this Yue Huang was the black sheep of the Yue family. Although this Yue family was one of the four major powers from the Tingxin empire, they were known for their sword mastery and disciplined behavior.

So it was not much of a surprise for Yue Huang to not get along well with his family. Although many people from the family didn't like the latter's behavior, they couldn't do anything about it as he was the only son of a Yue family elder.

So one could say that many people simply didn't like Yue Huang, especially those unfortunate people who had gambled with him. As Xing Peng went through the chap's memories, he found out that there was a large group of people who simply hated or disliked this guy.

Given how this guy was found dead below the tree, Xing Peng found out from the latter's memories that he had suddenly fainted when he was sitting under the tree. This was obviously unnatural no matter how one put it! If one sits somewhere only to suddenly faint and find themselves dead then there won't be any people left in the world. This was what worried Xing Peng, what would the killer think if he saw "Yue Huang" still alive? Wouldn't he try to kill him again then?

He also felt that this Yue Huang was a wastrel, although the latter belonged to a prominent martial family, the Yue family, he had still never seen a single cultivation technique in his life before! Truly what a waste.

It was a wonder why his father, who was an elder in the family heavily doted upon him and spoiled him so much.
