13 YUE HUANG'S PASSION

Yue Huang didn't know whether it was the smug look of Zing Shan that he didn't like or his name that reminded him of his brother 'Xing Shan' from his previous life.

Either way, Yue Huang's impression of Zing Shan was very poor and upon hearing the condescending tone with which he spoke to Cue Dong, Yue Huang secretly started rooting for Cue Dong.

[This is the type of guy that needs to be smacked right across his face.], Yue Huang felt that Zing Shan was just too arrogant.

Back on Earth, Yue Huang had met and seen many of these type of 'arrogant' people. He could do nothing other than just let himself get stepped on by such people both mentally and physically.

Ever since knowing about the existence of martial arts in this world, Yue Huang had a dream; he wanted to reach the peak of martial arts! There was no reason for why he wanted to, he just had to. This was his passion.

Ever since he started reading those chinese novels, one thing was the same throughout most of the novels that he read: Martial Arts!

Unknowingly, Yue Huang had a deep hidden passion for learning martial arts, the kind that were mentioned in novels which could move the heaven and shake the earth.

...

The fight between Cue Dong and Zing Shan wasn't the intense one that people expected. Zing Shan continuously retreated and dodged about as he appeared completely helpless under Cue Dong's palm strikes.

"Looks like the winner is decided.", Yue Huang muttered as he watched the retreating back of Zing Shan and shook his head.

"You are indeed correct.", Yue Yi joined in, his eyes focused on Zing Shan's movements.

...

Under the 'ferocious' assault of Cue Dong, Zing Shan kept retreating. This greatly angered Cue Dong, "Use your sword! or you will just end up running like a little chicken. "

"Like I said before, against you... I don't need to use my sword! ", Zing Shan growled as his eyes emitted a faint glow as he dodged Cue Dong's palm strike.

He wielded his forefinger like a sword and stabbed directly into Cue Dong's heart meridian. This was the moment he had been waiting for all along!

"Arghh..!", Cue Dong's face paled as he spat out blood and slid back by a few meters.

A burning red spot could be seen on the left side of his chest where his heart meridian resided. Zing Shan had used his Qi to stab right through Cue Dong's heart meridian. If it was a normal person, he would have died the moment the Qi attack penetrated through his heart.

But since Cue Dong had completed refining his body, his organs, bones, muscles were way more rigid and stronger than a normal person's. To him, it was a severe injury but not something that could take his life!

"Looks like I have underestimated you, It's my loss.", Cue Dong spoke as he swiftly walked down the stage. He knew better than most that his battle power was not sufficient enough to compete against Zing Shan. He had always been on guard when he launched his attacks against Zing Shan, but the latter had superior movement skills that helped him to continuously dodge his attacks. Moreover, Zing Shan still managed to find a gap in his movements and strike out a powerful blow. What would have happened if he used his sword right from the start? Cue Dong estimated that he would not even be able to handle three moves from Zing Shan if the latter used his sword and went all out!

[Looks like the Zing Clan is bound to prosper in the future under the lead of a person like Zing Shan.], Cue Dong thought as he proceeded back towards where the people from Cue family were seated.

...

"That was unexpected..", Yue Huang muttered.

"It wasn't that Cue Dong was weak, It was just that Zing Shan is too strong. He is almost invincible among those in the same level of cultivation."

" He is definitely a one-stage genius. ", Yue Yi spoke out.

" One-stage genius? What's that? ", Yue Huang had a confused look on his face as this was the first time he had heard of such a term.

"One-stage genius refers to those people who could compete against those who are one level higher than them in terms of cultivation. If Zing Shan were to compete against an opponent who has a cultivation of lv2 Qi Condensation Realm, I doubt he would lose. It would mostly end up in a draw.. or he might even end up killing his opponent! ", Yue Yi explained.

It suddenly struck Yue Huang. In the many novels that he read, The main protagonists would often skip levels to fight against opponents that were way stronger than them.

This suddenly filled Yue Huang with anticipation of his future in martial arts. He shared a similar situation with many of the main protagonists of the novels that he read, [Will I have some heaven defying battle ability? Or some system? ]

Looking at the serious look on his son's face, Yue Yi couldn't help but chuckle, "Don't worry too much. As long as you train hard with diligence and dedication, It wouldn't be hard for you to become a one-stage genius. "

Yue Huang nodded but inwardly he didn't really just want to stop at becoming just a one-stage genius. He had to realise his dream, [I want to reach the peak of martial arts! I, Yue Huang will not be bullied in this new life of mine!]
