7 Team Z VS Team X - Start

"Well, will you look at those guys?" Haruo looked at the enemy team with the X jersey's. They walked on the field as if they were some kind of hooligans that wanted to make problems.

Team Z was already positioned on the indoor football field and really had to wait for them to arrive. Could this be considered a home advantage? Hardly.

Isagi that was right beside Hauro breathed in and out to prepare himself mentally.

"They kinda look dangerous, don't they?"

Haruo looked over at Isagi and smiled lightly.

"What's this? Getting cold feet or something? Just concentrate on your play and ignore them." Besides that, Haruo was referring more to the skills those guys had.

There was actually no one that even remotely went over the A rank and most even had only B+ to A- talent. So his reasoning just proved itself.

Not that he needed proof since he saw the range of talent from most of these guys at the first time they all gathered up. He just didn't bother looking closer at them.

But now he could take a closer look and it kinda disappointed him.

The only noteworthy guy in the enemy team was Shoei Baro. A guy that somehow managed to let his long hair stand up like a hedgehog. His sides were undercut and a clear X was seen on his left temple right above the ear.

From that alone, Haruo could guess he was somewhat proud being in that Team X.

'What the hell? He sure got some interesting talents that I would like to get. But why do I feel like that will not be so easy? And what is that special bonus? Something new popped up again.'

Just at that moment when everyone was on the field the kickoff was announced through speakers installed at each corner.

Haruo tapped the ball softly to Isagi and repositioned himself to the right flank.

The enemy team was like some herd of buffalo all charging right at Isagi who was flabbergasted being pressed by so many people. But keeping his cool he tried to pass back to the midfield.

That would have defused the danger but suddenly Raichi stole Isagi's ball.

Haruo frowned at that and sighed. Right, he forgot that this guy and probably a lot more were self-centered idiots. It is alright being all self-centered but not on the freaking playing field.

"What are you doing!?", asked Isagi not understanding Raichi's actions.

"You just gotta score the most goals to survive, right? Screw the team! I'll win this playing my way!" Raichi showed his ulterior motive in disregarding the team and doing his own thing.

But just when he said those cocky words the deep sixer. Well at least what was supposed to be the deep sixer snatched the ball away from Raichi.

"Don't you get it, Raichi? If you wanna play by Blue Lock's rules, then you will have to face me. And you will do it one on one fair and square."

"Kunigami....Guess great minds really do think alike!!!" Raichi was angry again.

Haruo sighed. 'Yeah....I guess that was the most probable outcome.'

"Hey! Keep your positions!" Kuon shouted and tried to get some order but it was no use.

"Sorry to interrupt." An opponent got the ball and shocked both Raichi and Kunigami.

Surprisingly when the enemy team had ball possession the scene repeated itself just like it did in Team Z. It was like looking at children fighting over the last piece of juicy chocolate that was on a table.

Iemon and Igarashi also joined the frey for some reason and chaos unfolded.

Isagi only looked from the sides and observed this clusterfuck. Only to notice someone break through the tight spacing that all the players left and charge forward.

It was the number 10 from Team X, Shoei Baro.

He charged right at Isagi who was standing still to defend. But he got outplayed with a heel flick.

Then with just two defenders remaining he easily out dribbled them with two clean nutmegs between their legs.

And when only Gagamaru was his opponent he shot to the right upper corner. Everyone thought it would go in but suddenly Gin jumped and deflected the shot before it went inside.

That woke everyone up and Baro that saw his shot being deflected grimaced and started running to the rebound. But before that happened Chigiri was already back and crossed the ball far forward.

"Get a grip of yourself!", he shouted and everyone followed the arc of the ball in rhe air.

It flew high past the defense of team X that stood already near the midfield. For some, it may have been too far because there was no one standing that even the goalie was slowly running out.

But a shadow charged right past the defense as well and ran right after the ball.

Team X's goalie got spooked seeing who the person was that had been charging forward and tried to run back into the goal but the shot was already made and he could only watch as a curved ball flew past him into the net of the goal.

The display showing the score changed and Team Z opened up by having the first goal.

Everyone looked at the number 10 from Team Z in astonishment who was now showing teeth while grinning back at them and making a thumbs up.

"Thanks for gifting me this easy long shot!", said Haruo. It was his placed shot that landed neatly inside the net. If hecould not land that one it would have been embarassing.

"If you guys just stand back and move to the sidelines then I can continue doing my thing. I won't complain. Oi, Chigiri! Beautiful assist!!"

Chigiri only sighed at that comment and went back to his position.

What most probably did not know was that Chigiri only cleared the ball hard after getting ticked of by the nutmeg he received from Baro.

'So that is the special bonus, huh. Well, normally such goals would be near impossible to be made in real matches but I won't complain. I improved so much just from that one attack. Damn I feel great right now.' Haruo was very pleased and a little hyped. He went back to his position and then stopped his smile.

He started glaring at both Raichi and Kunigami. "You both better stop your childish shit. If you think you can perform like that, I will make sure you are the ones going down with the ship. And Isagi, get a grip of yourself. Just play your game."

Haruo did not want to lose this match so he made sure to tellthe troublemakers to behave.

Both of the accused frowned and went back to their positions. The most obvious one that was pissed was not his own team but the opponent number 10 that glared like there was no tomorrow. First, his goal was blocked, and then there is that other guy that used his moment for his own goal.

"You peasant dare to steal my moment? I will show you who really is the king on this field."

Haruo squinted his eyes lightly hearing that after he passed him. Then a small smile appeared on his face again.

"Then you better do your best, hedgehog.", commented Haruo.

It was 1:0 and the game just started. At least now everyone had the wake-up call to position themselves correctly and play the game.
