With Ego-san's signal, Kai started to dribble his way to us.
From the smile on his face, it's like he's not worried about his current situation at all...
Looking at him, I noticed that his dribbling...

It's like he's a complete new-
[Oh right, I almost forgot. The special case that I told you is the guy who's holding the ball currently.]
Cutting my thoughts, Ego-san's voice sounded from the monitor.
'Does that mean that Kai is a special case? What does that mean...'
Hearing Ego-san's voice, Kai also stopped as his grin widened. Every single player also stopped moving to listen to him.
[He does not know how to play football at all. Actually, this is his first time actually playing a game about football.]
[Now that all of you knows his case, if anyone of you who has already played for years actually lost to him, then you should know that you are worth less than a complete newbie.]

"Thanks for explaining to them yourself, Ego-chan. Now that they know that, the embarrassment that I'm feeling was atleast lessened." Kai spoke before looking at us.
"What he said was the truth so..."
He then steps at the ball.
"Don't lose to me, okay? That would be very embarassing." He then continued his dribble as he makes his way towards Kira.
Seeing him, Kira started running away from him.
"W-why are you targeting me, Kai-kun!? Don't you see the guy sleeping there!? Wouldn't it be easier to target him!?" He protested while running away.
The sleeping guy that he was talking about is a guy with long hair reaching the neck with some yellow streaks. He is sucking his thumb like a baby while murmuring something. Does he not care about his football career? What a weirdo.
"I don't care about targeting a guy who's not the number 1. Isn't it only natural to aim for the strongest? You're number one in this room so you're my target. It's as simple as that, Kira."
Number 1?...Oh, now that I see Kira's number, he has the lowest number in this room which means that he is the strongest here based on Ego-san's judgement...
Kai then stopped when he closed the gap between them.
Kai seems to be extremely fast to the point that he easily caught up to Kira who is the top player in this room.
Maybe that's why Ego-san let him enter even though he never played football...
"Don't hold it against me, okay? I'm just a mouse who is trying to survive in a jungle full of lions. You understand, right?" After saying that, he then kicked the ball towards Kira.
"Poom!!!*

Even though the shot was so fast, Kira was able to avoid it by a hair's breadth.
'I wouldn't have been able to avoid that...'
"Oh shucks. My aim sucks." Said Kai nonchalantly as he chased the ball.
That's right, if he atleast had an average aim, he can easily hit anyone with that power-
"Eh wait, Kira, why are you coming here!?"
"We're already stacked in the corner! Don't come here, you dumbasssss!!! Shouted Raichi.
"Sorry but I also want to survive to prove his ideals wrong!" Is what Kira's answer to our complains.
'Shit! If Kai kicked the ball here, one of us will surely get hit!'
However, I can't run away either since Kai is already running with the ball towards us. If I ran away, I will be going nearer towards him.
"Oh~ would you look at that. Lions hiding in the corner from a single rat huh."
*Poom!!!* He once again did his extremely strong kicks as the ball flew towards us at high speeds.
'Shit! It's flying towards my face!!'

Thankfully, I managed to dodge in the nick of time as it bounced up from hitting the wall. It's probably due to adrenaline rush.
However, before I could even ran away, Kai, who was atleast a few meters away from us, was already infront of us.

"What the..."
'What the heck's with his speed!? He was atleast 7 meters away from us!'
"Shit! Run in opposite ways, you idioootttsss"
We started running away as Kai jumped up towards the ball that was in the air.
As if a metal being attracted to a magnet, every single one of us turned towards the boy named Enryu Kaizer who is in the air while running.
"What the heck..."
"H-he's...flying..."
"Wow~"
Seeing our awed faces, he grinned before...
*Tung!!!*
He performed a header as he shot the ball towards Kira...
"Wha-"

Kira didn't managed to avoid it due to the close gap between them as the ball smacked him on the face making the role of "it" transferred to him.
"Whoa~That was a super goal Kai-chan~♪" Said the sleeping guy who is now awoke and gave a high five to Kai to which he accepted. Well, the dude tried to fake him to try hitting his forehead with his palm but Kai managed to avoid it.
'I need to take advantage of this!'
Not wanting to be Kira's victim, I ran towards the opposite side.
Looking at the time, there's still 1 minute left.
Kai and the weird dude also started running towards us with carefree expressions.
What a weird duo. I could understand Kai who doesn't have any career yet but for the other dude to also not be worried...
After Kira snapped out of his stupor, he clicked his tongue before running towards us.
"Tsk. What's this...this shitty game..."
He then dribbled towards...us!?
No...his target is...
"Looks like you easily hold a grudge huh, Kira."
"This is just a payment, Kai-kun. It's only natural for lions to hold a grudge against the mouse that bit him, right?"
"Well, yeah. I just didn't see you as that kind of lion."
"Then I apologize in advance, Kai-kun. Because..."

"You will be the first one to get kicked out."
He then kicked it towards Kai with power although it clearly lacks compared to Kai's.
"Well, sorry to burst your bubble but..."
Kai then dodged it easily as he twisted his body to the side a little.
"Now that I'm not the "it", I can't see myself falling for your slow shots."
"Tsk!" Kira clicks his tongue in annoyance as he ran towards the stray ball that didn't hit anyone.
Waiting for Kira to get the ball, the weird dude talks to Kai.
"Looks like he wants you out of the game, Kai-chan. Want me to help ya?"
"No thanks, this is my way of having fun so I'll take him on alone."
"Well, if that's what you wish~I'm Bachira by the way. Better remember the name~♪"
After that, Bachira left his side as Kai and Kira started their back and fourths as Kira tried his best to hit Kai who is dodging easily and is not even a little bit tired. What a monster.
Contrary to him, the constant running and pressure has already started to get through the other players as each of them has buds of sweats on their faces.
I'm also not faring any better. The fact that this simple game can end our careers is just-
Cutting my thoughts out, I saw a humongous football infront of me.

My blurred vision started to clear as I made out a figure that is running away from me.
I also felt some kind of liquid flowing down through my nose.
"Sorry, Isagi, but...I don't want for my career to end here."
I heard his voice although the usual friendly tone has already completely changed to a cold one. Even the honorifics that he always add when calling someone's name is gone too.
"Wh-why me..."
"You were spacing out so...I thought that it's the best chance to hit you."

"Shut the fuck up and just kick the ball towards anyone already, Isagi. You only have 20 seconds left."
Kai woke me up from my stupor as I immediately forced myself to stand up. That's right. I can't dawdle even for a second.
'I can't let my career end like this!'
I then started to dribble my way as the others ran away from me.
'Shit! Why did I even spaced out in a crucial game like this! Because of that...because of that, I fucking!-'

Who's my target then!? Kai is the closest to me but he's definitely not an option since his reaction time is just too fast that even Kira's kicks can't touch him with point blank ranges!
The others are already on the other side...Kira is the 2nd closest one to me...15 seconds...
"Fuck it! I'm also going for you, number 1!-"
"So you're also going for Kira?"
"Huh?"
How did Kai even got close to me without me noticing? I've already dribbled several meters away from him right?
"I was originally planning to leave you to get kicked out but seeing the determination in your eyes, I think it will be more fun to have you around here..."

Maybe because the adrenaline rush in me finally ran out, my knees gave out as I sat on the floor.
"I saved you, Isagi. So in return, make this project fun for me."

After he said that, his whole demeanor changed as he grinned. I also noticed the weird dude do the same as he moved.
He then charged towards Kira again but is now much faster than before.

'Ah...this feeling...I love it...' I thought as I ran with all of my might while dribbling.
I don't know what kind of expression I have currently but It's probably one full of ecstacy.
When I did the header, I instantly felt at that moment that this sports is truly the one for me. It's just like a love at first sight.
I've even started day dreaming about me standing on the field with tens of thousands of people cheering for me while I lose myself as I dribble my way towards the goal and score a goal.
But now that I stole the ball from Isagi...all of it might vanish in an instant...
This feeling of pressure that is making my heart race...
This...is exactly what I'm looking for.
[8 seconds]
After easily catching up to him, Kira stopped running and is now just observing my right foot with noticeable levels of alertness.
Probably to see the trajectory of my kick to increase his chances of avoiding it.
But what he doesn't know...
I then kicked the ball lightly towards him with the side of my right foot. He got confused at first probably thinking that I blundered before snapping out of it as he smiled in victory as he dodged it easily.

Using my left leg, I lifted my body in a pedaling posture in the air.
I noticed that bachira got confused on my action somehow.
He probably assumed that my dominant foot is right since I've always used it as my kicking foot for the entire game so he's now confused on why I kicked up my body with my left foot.
Bicycle kick is usually done by using your kicking foot as driving up foot so me using my left instead of right can cause an understandable confusion.
Bachira is right alright. My right foot is...

Using my left leg, I kicked the ball towards Kira successfully performing a bicycle kick. Due to the distance my shitty aim doesn't matter.
