"I'll take this little angel down the cave. Meanwhile, you can fetch the kids and bring them here." Jessi said. Standing up from her favorite couch and carried the heavy dragon egg on her arm.

"What about Ysabella?" Samuel asked while lacing his shoes. "Do we just leave her here?"

"I thought we agreed with this. That demon must be put to shackle first before we can start their hide and seek. If we let him join! He'll spoil the fun!" Jessi explained and rolled her eyes.

Jessi was actually the one who gave Samuel an idea of how will he introduce the last two members of their group.

She proposed a hide and seek.

She will bring the egg to the underground cave where no magic other than those from the celestial hierarchy works. It's the same cave where Samuel was dragged by the old woman.

They had built the house there and it had gone through hundreds of renovation as years passes them like storms.

And since there is a demon involve. There is no guarantee that he won't cheat. So it's best to leave him out of the game and make sure he's too focused on something else.

Which is why Ysabella will be left around the house to welcome their first ever guest in centuries.

And maybe surprised everyone including her caretakers.

"Okay! I'll see you in a bit!" Samuel laughed lightly as he finally made his way out.

Hopping excitedly to his car before driving to fetch everyone.

It's sunday and Samuel figured it's a perfect day with a perfect weather to finally introduced Ysabella and Kitsch.

As much as he wanted to see the reactions of his friends when they meet. Except only the part that Trevor still feels the pain on his neck because of his dead mate.

He didn't wanna spoil the fun so he made sure that he didn't see much from the whole day and kept himself clueless like them.

Samuel is very excited and was smiling like a total whipped id**t during the whole ride.

Samuel first arrived in Jade's neighborhood. This is actually his first time there and he would've been nervous to meet the one who takes care of her. But Samuel is more excited of their special event later.

"Samuel!!?" Jade gasped in surprise seeing the tall male standing on her doorstep. The same smile glued on his face like an image.

"Come in!" She said and gestured the male to come inside.

Samuel thanked her and soon met Sarah, the one who's been taking care of her.

"Sarah! This is Samuel! He's the one I've been telling you about. Samuel, this is Sarah. She's the one who takes care of me." Jade introduced them both.

Sarah quickly stood up and gently bowed her head to the prince. "Your highness." She said with pure politeness and Samuel quickly waved off his hand.

"Please. Let's drop the formalities. You can just call me by my name!" Samuel said as he smiled. Causing a fluttering butterflies to the woman.

The two shook hands briefly and Samuel couldn't help but see a very interesting information.

Or maybe a very and most dangerous one at that.

He cleared his throat and decided to shake off the thoughts. Sarah invited him to take a seat while she went to the kitchen to prepare snacks for their special and handsome royal visitor.

"Y-you made quite a surprise visit. I w-wasn't able to prepare." Jade said while trying to avoid his gaze and trying to fix her still messy hair.

Samuel chuckled at the girl's small actions. She seemed like she only just got out of bed and was in a very hurry when he suddenly knocked on their door.

"Don't worry. You still look pretty as always." He said and Jade was quick to blush than her speed of swim.

Jade felt totally embarassed for reacting like that. And looking so messy to her fellow royalty. Like she was enjoying herself flopped on her bed even though it's mate in the morning. She said she's taking her time to get up late while she still doesn't go back to school yet.

Her hair is a total mess because of her undone messy braids. She's still wearing her pajamas which she had spilled a hot chocolate last night and got too lazy to change saying she wants to sleep early but slept late for watching a series called Squid Game.

Jade mentally rained Sarah with gratitude when she came back with the snack. Sitting beside the winter prince who were enjoying himself of watching her turn into a blushing ball of mess while wearing that smug yet charming smile on his face.

"W-what brings you here though?" She asked and quickly grabbed one of the mug of milk. Samuel chuckling at how she was avoiding his gaze.

"I actually came here for you."

I swear to the heart of the sea! If this walking snowflake don't stop! I'll take him down to the depths of our trenches!

"W-why? Is something up?" Jade asked and briefly looked at Samuel for the sake of manners.

Sarah could read the princess like a book and besides, she had heard tons of Jade's stories about Samuel. So she understands why the girl is acting like this.

She feels somewhat nostalgic to see the young princess under her care, is finally getting a time for herself. Finding herself new friends and even a love interest. To finally enjoy the youth that everyone on her age have the rights to enjoy.

Not just pure orders from her controlling parents. Trainings and thinking of how to survive underwater.

"Yes. And I promise that this could be one of our historic moments for our group." Samuel stated proudly.

Jade turned to look at him. Noticing the excitement in his tone. And finally noticing his very bright presence and aura.

He seems very happy. I wonder for what reason...

She thought and immediately looked away before she ends up getting locked in his gaze which would be terribly embarassing for her.

"Oh! That would mean you two have an important business to attend to!" Sarah said as she chuckled and turned to the princess.

"Jade. Dear. You should get ready  then." She said to her between her small giggles.

Jade cleared her throat before standing up with the mug of milk on her hand.

"T-this seems pretty important. S-so. I'll be real quick." She stammered and with that, she disappeared to her room like bubbles.

Samuel couldn't but laugh quietly.

Hearing how Jade was frantically ransacking her closet for good pairs of clothes. Thanks to his heightened sense of course.

The way how he was able to make her act and go crazy like this made him feel very giddy.

"Don't tell her I told you this. But I think my princess likes you a lot." Sarah whispered sneakily and Samuel visibly blushed.

"I like her too. But don't tell her that of course." He whispered back. Causing the two of them nudging and quietly giggling at each other.

After a good 20 minutes. That quick -_-

Jade finally walked down the stairs. Wearing her recently bought dress.

The off shoulder dress is colored in pastel peach and has white tiny roses on top. Hugging the part of her shoulders and chest. She partnered it with a white corset that perfectly hugs her slim waist.

She had her hair freely falling to her shoulders. She also wore a white beret to match her attire, along with white rose earrings that Sarah had recently bought for her too.

"Beautiful." Samuel without hesitation, complimented.

He was too lovestrucked to even realize it and felt like he needed to say it if he wants oxygen to live.

Sarah silently gushed while watching how the prince had completely fell dazed upon seeing the beautiful princess.

"Of course she's beautiful! She's the most beautiful among her kind." Sarah complimented and turned to Jade who is now too embarassed to even walk another step to them.

One more compliment from Samuel and she might as well dash back to her room and lock herself forever just to sing their famous gratitude song to the water goddess.

"L-let's go! W-we still need to fetch the others." Samuel said and Jade quickly turned to him. Feeling a tad bit disappointed.

What am I expecting? He's not asking me for a date.

She said in her mind before walking towards them with a pout and her shoulders dropped.

Sarah noticed the quick change of her expression and secretly nudged the taller male on his waist.

Samuel noticed it too of course. And he felt awful for ruining the mood. But that doesn't mean he won't do anything about it.

Just ask her out...

Dude. If you don't do it. I will! She's a princess after all and I'm also prince!

Samuel mentally malfunctioned when he heard Yalex and Rhian's voice in his mind. Their small heads with tiny horns even magically appeared like clouds in his eyes.

He was lucky he didn't acted all too weird to the other two.

"T-thanks for the snack! I hope I can visit here one day. We'll be going now." Samuel said to Sarah and gently bowed his head to her.

Samuel was kind of blocking her from Jade's sight. So she didn't see Sarah mouthing at Jade to do something.

'I will!' Samuel mouthed back and the two finally walked out of the house to his car.

He opened the door next to the driver's seat and Jade unconsciously sat there because why not.

Eventually, the two drove off and headed to their next destination. To the apartment where the white sorceress and the moon goddess lives.
