"I really can't believe you're just getting to school now like by this time " Izzy says shocked ,

"Yeah I'm also surprised " I mean I knew I was late but I didn't expect to be this late ,it's time for lunch .

She gives me a look that says 'are you going to tell me what happened or do I have to ask',

"Well...." I pause for a second to get the right words to explain my morning, but I'm talking to Izzy I realize I don't need the right words.

" I was waiting for Jake because he told me that he'd give me a ride to school, but he wasted so much time and I missed the bus then when he finally came out of his house, he wasn't looking too good, so we had to make a trip to the pharmacy before getting back to school " I continue.

" Is he better?"Izzy asks, I nod in reply.

she continues to munch on her doritos , I try to get one but she pushes my hand away . 

My hand has been getting rejected today,
