1 restless night (prologue)

Tick tock tick tock that is all I heard from an old clock, hanging on the wall to the left of me. Laying on my back staring at the ceiling, I let out nervous breath with a shudder.

Hesitating I peak over to my door that connects to the hallway, realizing that nothing is there I look around the rest of my room. Seeing outlines of my all might figurines above my computer desk I slightly relax, listening to the quiet running of my computer's fan I slowly shut my eyes, falling slowly to sleep with a lingering fear of still being watch.

As darkness takes over a dream begins to play.

The harsh sound of metal against metal, plays in my ears as a black silhouette comes into view, dragging a sword. Freaking out and falling on my butt, I start to back petal as fast as I can, but despite my attempts to get away he gets closer, and closer. Legs shaking I attempt to stand up, succeeding I immediately turn around, taking my first step, I hear a sickly sound of a crunching. Feeling wetness I proceed to look down.

Jerking awake from the nightmare, feeling wetness on my lower groin, I start to cry " mommy, daddy" I cried curling into a ball. Rocking back and forth as I cry, my parents burst down the door, hearing a cracking noise I crawl to the corner of my bed, continuing to cry as my mom and dad came over to comfort me.

" What's wrong sweetie" my mom ask while hugging me, looking up at her with tears in my eyes "someone killed me" I say sniffling before breaking back down. My parents look at each other as my mom continues to rub my back, trying to calm me down.
