4 A String of Bad Luck

Meanwhile on the other side of the building.

The building itself has two sides, the front side is Hundred flowers brothel while the back side is the place they do shoddy business like what that man just do to Su Qi Xue. Right now in the Hundred Flowers brothel, the owner of the brothel, Madame Hua, is busy entertaining her guests. Today guests are not an ordinary guest, they are the officers and general from Liang Kingdom army that just return to the city after finished their mission to sweep the remnants of Jin army from the area around the city.

Food and wine were delivered non-stop to their tables, entertainment also already prepared in the stage of the large hall where the party was held.

The leader of Liang Kingdom army, general Huang, only wave his hand as a sign for Madame Hua to proceed while pouring more wine on his bowl. In the next minutes, the music start playing and the dancers already stand in their position on stage. The big curtain that covers the stage slowly raised and five dancers who wearing only something like undergarment on their top start moving their bodies following the rhythm of the music.

The dancers dancing erotically and the officers in that big hall start whistling and speak vulgar words. General Huang still looks indifferent and only care to pour more wine on his bowl. Madame Hua approaching general Huang and give her offers

"General, if you like them, I can send them to your room right away"

"I'm not interested in anybody there. You don't have to bother with that"

General Huang said that calmly while pouring the wine into his mouth. Madame Hua clapping her hands to the dancers in the stage.

"That's enough! Switch with other dancers!"

The dancers on the stage stopped their dance and leave the stage. The musician also starts playing another song for the new dancer. The new dancers now dressed more elegant and not dancing in a vulgar and erotic manner.

General Huang still sits calmly and drink his wine. He did not even take a glance at the dancer at the stage at all while his subordinates getting more excited with this new dancer. Madame Huang try to offer this new dancer for General Huang

"General, how with this one? If you want, they can immediately send to your room"

General Huang did not answer and only pour the wine into his mouth, his face looks bored. Madame Hua didn't ask anymore, she knows General Huang didn't interested with the dancer. She clapped her hands like before and the dancers stop their dancing and get off from the stage.

The next dancer comes in a very enticing way. Starting with some colorful shawl drop from the roof, a pretty dancer slowly descends from above while holding the shawl. She's wearing a glamorous tight dress which shows her gorgeous body. When the music starts playing, she starts dancing using the shawl in her hand to create a beautiful move in her dancing. The Liang officers all stop whistling and their mouth open wide when seeing the dancer. Even general Huang stop drinking and watch the dancer

"General, if general not interested with her, I don't know what else to do because she's our most beautiful dancer we have"

General Huang, not answers, he just nodded while rubbed his chin and keep watching the dance. When the dancer ends her dancing, she throws a sweet smile to general Huang. General Huang hasn't had a chance to say anything when suddenly a girl rush out to the hall from behind the musician rows. Her ragged clothes and the blood stain on her face and clothes alarming all the officers that having the party there. That girl is no other than Su Qi Xue, why she suddenly on the Liang Army party?

It starts when Ding Xiang Ge carry the unconscious Su Qi Xue to one room on the building which on the backyard of the brothel. He laid the unconscious Su Qi Xue on the bed and take a small sharp knife and a jade canister. With that knife, he makes a cut in Su Qi Xue's hand which make her blood start dripping from the wound and dropped into the jade canister.

The pain from the wound in her hand makes Su Qi Xue awaken from her unconscious state. With the head that still dizzy after being hit on the column hardly, Su Qi Xue tries to see where she is right now because she saw she's in unknown places. Her eyes catch the body of Ding Xiang Ge that still sits beside the bed and watches the blood dropped into the canister, which makes her startled

"Ahh! Where am I? what are you doing to me?"

"I'm collecting your blood, that's what you mean being in here. Some people believe drinking virgin blood can extend human lifespan, and virgin blood can be sold for many gold coins to them"

"Nooo…please don't…let me go"

Su Qi Xue feels scared with what Ding Xiang Ge just said. She tries to struggle and break free from that man hold

"Listen, poor people can't decide their own life, and it's your fate for sold and become blood cattle here"

Su Qi Xue stunned, in her mind flashing all that she has done for her family, for her father, for her little brother…..but it's that's mean nothing for them. Tears start flowing from Su Qi Xue's eyes. She crying while begging to that man to release her, but Ding Xiang Ge ignore her and keep holding her hand to make the blood dropped on the canister.

With her other hand that still free, Su Qi Xue tries to find anything that can set her free from that man. When her hand touches the lid of incense burner that made from bronze, she immediately grabs that lid and hit the man head with that lid as hard as possible. Ding Xiang Ge didn't expect that Su Qi Xue will make resistance and unguarded against that attack. He fell on the floor with his head feel dizzy from that hit.

Since no one holds her anymore, Su Qi Xue jumps from the bed and want to flee. When she saw Ding Xiang Ge try to stand up, without thinking much, Su Qi Xue take the jade canister and hit it on the Ding Xiang Ge's head which make him down. The blood inside the canister splattered everywhere and some of them make a stain on Su Qi Xue face and dress.

Su Qi Xue didn't want to waste this chance and hurriedly leave that room and try to leave the building. When Su Qi Xue tries to leave that places, alas, instead get out from that place, she enters the brothel hall where officers from Liang Kingdom Army having a party there. Seeing a girl with blood stains in her face and hands make those officers rise from their seating and unsheathed their swords

Su Qi Xue tries to move away from the side that full with Liang Kingdom army officers but they all scattered in that hall. Two officers that work as General Huang guards immediately catch her.

"Let me go! I'm not do anything wrong!"

Su Qi Xue's screaming and asking to be released.

"Take her to my room!"

General Huang gives his order to his guards and they immediately carry Su Qi Xue from that hall to the general room.
