3 chapter 3: Corey

Corey went up to the door, he was scared of what could be in there when he gets that rusty door open.

Corey looked at the door. it was stuck in place from rust. 'this place must be about 50 years old at least!' he thought.

Corey sighed. "hey, do any of you two fish brains have leather gloves that cover up the fingers?"

"yeah man, right here!" Mike handed Corey a pair of gloves. Exactly what he asked for!

Corey but the gloves on. they were black leather gloves. that would work for him. he quickly got back to the door and put his right hand on the right side and the left hand on the left side of the door. he pulled until he heard it move. he let go of the door and got a metal bar he found on the ground between two rocks right next to the mansion.

Corey went back to the half-cracked door. he put the thin metal in the crack and used it as a hinge. after 5 or 6 times of using it as a metal hinge, the door moved wide enough for Corey to push it all the way open. he pushed it all the way open and looked at the inside of the mansion. it had windows everywhere!

"ok, let's go in guys." said Clark. "you took longer than it needed to be."

"says the one that did zero work on getting this rusted door open!" growled Corey. the others walked into the mansion while Corey slowly picked up a rusted knife on the ground. "just in case." said Corey as he walked after his friends.

Corey looked around while shinning his flashlight around the first floor of this mansion... Mike was standing on the other end of the hall and was frozen still. Corey walked over and looked into the room. what he saw... scared him!

the room was all bloody as if someone was attacked. the blood was a mix of old and fresh blood! the two boys felt a shiver up their spins as they heard Clark scream from the second part of the mansion! HE WAS AT THE SECOND FLOOR!
